Great video.....very detailed!! My question is when you aren't doing karaoke, can that chromecast be used as a normal streaming device? Meaning if I have everything hooked up exactly as you do. If I play a Netflix movie using that chromecast is it going to have the karaoke sound effects?

vizio 65 inch 4k tv here. I was able to use the bluetooth headphone connection from the tv to the mixer and an aux cord to the sound bar. Very easy. Had to restart tv for it to work. So plug it all in with power off.

I do not have HDMI connection jack in my home theater system instead it has audio/ video cables from my TV to the home theater speaker system. Hi. Unfortunately not. The video needs to be sent to the mixer one way or another, so it can get mixed with the audio.

I think I have everything I need, but one question … Can you please explain why I need both the streaming device and the iPad. I understand you screencast from the iPad to your TV, but what’s the firestick for? Do I play UA-cam on the Firestick or the iPad?

I have purchased the mixer with the wireless mics and have connected it all along with chrome cast. It all streams and works well but I can barely get any volume from the microphone even with the mic volume on the mixer all the way up. Any suggestions why?
Hi. I'd say try to disconnect and then re-connect. If it persists, you may need to replace your mic. But maybe call their IT support first?

Hello Mahubay..... I discovered your channel today. My karioke setup will be different from what you described..... I will be doing outdoor backyard parties using my laptop to stream music from all my music sources such as UA-cam as well as Tidal, Spotify and maybe Pandora. What I cannot find out is how to obtain the lyrics to stream across a generic flat screen TV I plan to use on my gigs..... (I won't be using the TV;s built in "smart" feature - I'll be using my laptop) Sometimes, I see lyrics streaming across my screen "one line at a time"; I'd rather see a paragraph of 4 lines at time if that is possible. I do plan to up my subscription levels to Tidal and Spotify to a full paid subscription to obtain the streaming lyrics and no commercials for the summer months as this will be my "busy" months. Simply asked, I don't know or have figured out how to obtain UA-cam lyrics to stream across my screen at 4 lines at at time....
Hi. Hope you subscribed. :) We cannot really change the UA-cam lyric video. For example, if the video is done so it is 2 lines at a time, there is nothing we can do. Because we don't own the video and there is no setting or device that can change that on our end.

So, I have an HD firestick already hooked up directly to my Home Theater AV system. I can get You Tube without casting. So, how would this work for integrating the mixer? Can I bypass the android phone and casting and make it work somehow just through the firestick and mixer OR do I have to use a separate firestick to plug into the back of the mixer like you do with the Chromecast stick? I hope this makes sense... LOL. Can u maybe explain how to do this with a firestick 4k?
Hi. Yes you would just use your existing fire stick and connect it to the back of the mixer.
And everytime you watch a video (karaoke or not) just turn on your mixer and use the same fire stick.
The phone is optional if you are using firestick since the fire stick can already play a youtube video. The phone is helpful as it makes it easier to find songs, do queuing etc but it is not required if you have fire stick.

Hi. You have to pick the video that has a different key. You can normally tell this based on the title of the video.
You cannot select the key from 1 video alone.
Some songs may not have a video with different keys.

Thank you. I watch UA-cam on my TV using my Roku Ultra or sometimes I mirror my Phone. The Roku Ultra is connected directly to the Receiver which is connected to my TV. So I am stuck on Step 4, "Connecting the Streaming Device". My streaming device (Roku Ultra) is directly connected to my Onkyo Receiver, which is subsequently connected to the TV. So what do I do in this situation?
Hi. What you can do is connect the Roku Ultra to your mixer instead. And the moving forward, you can just use that set-up every time you need to use your Roku. You simply need to turn on your Mixer to use Roku. In your AV Receiver, your input must be coming from the Mixer. Hope that makes sense.

It is used as a streaming device. It allows you to play the UA-cam Karaoke Music from your phone, cast it into the Chromecast, which then plays the music into the TV via the mixer.

I have a new Sony Smart TV. It only has HDMI inputs and a few inputs that look like mini jacks. It also has a Sonos Beam that connect to the Sony TV with an eARC HDMI cable. I am trying to figure out how to connect a mixer to the TV. The TV has an optical output. I was thinking to connect the optical output to the mixer and mikes, but I don't know how to get the sound back to the TV and sounder. Any ideas?

I have a basic av system but the audio(microphone) is not pair with the video streaming. I have an optic audio cable existing fr TV to my amplifier thru an inverter meaning digital to analog, everytime we sing the sound audio is separated. I have heard that connecting a mic to a receiver and then speakers can ruin your speakers. Home theater speakers are design for high fidelity at low volume, and Karaoke/PA speakers are designed for loud volume with a compromise in fidelity. Because of this, the sound spikes (especially if you drop the mic) can damage your home theater speakers.

Hi. You can follow the same steps except that instead of using a Chrome Cast, use your PS4. Using an HDMI Cable, connect the one end of the cable to your PS4 HDMI OUT and the other end connect to Mixer HDMI IN.

Ok. I got this mixer & wireless mics set you recommended as an alternative to the Pyle that was not available. My set up is hdmi out from mixer in directly to samsung smart tv. Then. Used a roku stick and put it hdmi in of the mixer. Set up was ok with video on tv screen and sound coming from sound bar. just have 1 big problem with mic wireless sound when singing. There is a lag about 1/2 to 1 second when I’m using my voice to sing on the mics. How do I fix this? Some people from mixer review on amazon say it’s because of the wireless mics. Maybe it’s because mixer not connected to mixer? Would buying a wired mic and putting it into the mixer correct this lag problem? Or buy a audio converter and connecting it to the sound bar separately and then the wireless mics will work with no more lag with my voice? Ive already spent $100 buying the mixer & wireless mics so if I need to buy another device whether its wired mics or audio converter, I just want to make sure it will work so I don’t waste time & money. Please help me with this so I can really start enjoying singling karaoke again. Thanks

You can just connect the hdmi out of the mixer to an hdmi in of a soundbar or any speaker that has hdmi in.
I have an LG TV. It already has the UA-cam app on the TV. I also use an AV receiver and external speakers. My problem is the audio is out of sync with the video. Any help on that?
Which audio is out of synch? Is it the vocals or the music or both?

@@MabuhayKaraoke I have a Onkyo receiver which I connect to the TV. I have a karaoke mixer which I have connected to the Onkyo via CBL/SAT. However, the connection of the tv to Onkyo is via an optical cable. When I play the karaoke on the tv it uses optical cable sound output and bypasses the mixer.
I tried it your way and connected the chrome cast to the karaoke mixer but I only got the sound via CBL/SAT but on image on the TV. But when I played UA-cam on the TV via airplay I didn’t get the sound from my karaoke mixer.
I believe you got stuff mixed up... :)
This video: ua-cam.com/video/XYv75v4ljA8/v-deo.html is designed for when you play the UA-cam Karaoke video via the Chromecast Device. Your Chromecast device feeds the Mixer with audio/video. Mixer HDMI OUT should connect to Onkyo Receiver HDMI IN. Then AV Receiver OUT connects to TV HDMI IN.

Our Speaker does not have a 3.5mm port on it, it only accepts RCA.
Does your TV have a 3.55mm OUTPUT? If it does, it may work but most TVs don't have 3.55mm output. At least I've never seen one.

Hi. Sorry for the confusion. Here's what I meant. You have two ways of doing this without an AV Receiver:
1. Just connect the HDMI output directly to the TV. This means though that you are using your TV Speakers which may not be the best sound quality but it works for many people
2. If you have Active Speakers (meaning, speakers that are powered independently), you can use an RCA cable or an Auxilliary cable to send the audio signals to your Active Speakers.
None of those methods require an AV Receiver.

If you simply connect your phone to a bluetooth speaker, it works like that except that it will NOT be synched. The bluetooth is always delayed.
