Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were shown in more detail in the Pokemon Presents for August, along with info on Pokemon Legends Arceus. Lots of new pokemon and new Pokemon forms shown for Pokemon Legends Arceus and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, BDSP I guess the acronym is lol. I decided to draw some speculation :)

0:40 "Toy-looking" sums it up perfectly. I remember when they put out the first trailer in a Nintendo Direct, and all I could think was, "Why does Dawn look like a Funko! Pop figure?"

Imagine the developers of pokemon Legends arceus watching this video and actually uses Moxie’s design for a Hisuian Arcanine. That has to happened. Cause Moxie’s Hisuian Arcanine is sick

The Hisuian Arcanine in this is amazingly close to what it really looks like.
The open world game looks pretty cool, but I feel like it still needs a bit more work until it’s a true god tier Pokémon game
It has a heck ton of potential, I really hope they can pull this off
Yeah. It’s still in development and doesn’t come out until january next year. So we got time for improvments
This looks promising and I love Basculegion and Growlithe but WHY is this being handled in such a lowed RESOLUTION? Did gamefreak lend them this low resolution and save money if the game fails? Wtf, it may help if it was good resolution.

The only thing I'm scared about the Arceus game is that the world looks too empty v.v and I dunno how I feel like the cartoony pokemon among that realistic trees

I normally love the chibi art style ( the art style for the new diamond and pearl ) but I think it doesn’t fit well

Ok but all Pokemon games are so common used words like
Red and blue (colours)
Gold and silver (metals)
Ruby and sapphire (Gems)
Diamond and pearl (also gems)
Black and white (colours again)
X and Y (Alphabets)
Sun and moon (it's obvious)
Sword and shield (Items)
The thing is they all antagonize the other or are used alongside each other
Yellow is a colour
Crystal are basic elemental forms(commonly found in sugar and salt)
Emerald is a gemstone
Platinum is an expensive metal
And then there are no other side games
I was awaiting this and I cannot wait to see the Pokémon Moxie has made!

But also, the fact that we now know that in BD/SP your Pokémon will follow you in the overworld, as well as trainer costumization, and overworld encounters, that just makes me more excited for BD/SP as well!

I still don't understand why they'd make full bodied forms with different outfits and hair, only to go out of their way to make chibis, that goes against every department of creating a game

The arceus game makes it so mug mote realistic, the fact you get attack by pokemon and can choose to throw a ball or attack makes it so sick
Your Mega Froslass was awesome. Why did Game Freak give an official Mega to Glalie? Froslass was better in every way from the moment it was introduced, and would have benefitted from it more.

I like the toy-like aesthetic for the overworld. It’s cute. It feels like Link’s Awakening which I loved.
This looks so good and as much as i want to enjoy it, i can't stop thinking about how gamefreak is gonna ruin this man... probably they will make it so that you can just throw a pokeball and the pokemon attacking you will enter battle instantly making the whole mechanic useless like every other one before it...
Sword and shild broke my hopes so hard, that i can't even enjoy this to it's fullest, man why is this so hard?

I don’t have a big issue with the art style for BDSP. I just want them to fix the game speed from the originals because oh mY GOD it was way too slow. I just want them to bring back the game and free it from the problems the original games had.
It won’t evolve into an arcanine, it’ll evolve into another completely new Pokémon and become Dragon/Rock type. Book it

You should definitely try to create and implement your own texture pack, maybe for randomizer runs with randomized Pokemon types

Arcanine is my favorite pokemon. I love your version of the Hisuian version sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. If it end up looking bad I will be so sad and will assist you and taking over the company so you can do my baby justice.

So growing up i adored butterfree, and i genuinely am still angry it doesn't have a mega form. I understand they don't need to give every weak pokemon a mega, but butterfree feels left behind because of mega beedrill, and raticate deserves a 3rd evolution as should sandslash
I was honestly hoping for a Fire/Ice type growlithe due to its fure coat but that's just me
Plus getting another fire/ice type would be nice
For me Mega Staraptor must be flying/fight because of close combat but that Mega Staraptor is cool
BDSP needs a mod to change between chibi char models and in-battle sprites, it is so jarring switching from 1 to the other
After Gen 8, we now know that Regional Evolutions are a thing.
So we don't actually have a guarantee that Hisuian Growlithe will evolve into Arcanine.

One thing I want in the new game is that the fossil Pokémon should be a actual normal Pokémon because it’s before all of the other games
I want a charzard and a draginite I. Acreus. Charzard and its evolution line is my favorite and draginite and it's evolution line is my 3rd favorite and in a game like this to have them would make me jump for joy
mayhaps Hisuian Growlith does not even evolve into Arcanine but something all new.
