Just completed this, I'm new to calisthenics and found this a good starting point. I will aim to practise this everyday until I improve and move on to your more challenging and lengthier work outs. Thank you for this 😊💓
Well done 👏🏼 I have a 7 Day Calisthenics plan linked in my community post feed if you fancy mixing in some others. This one’s a great place to start though 👌🏼💪🏼
I currently do your calisthenics workouts one day, and run 5K on the other day so I can rest properly. Would you say this is a good idea? Is there anything else I can be trying?
8:51 Here is 30 second break before the second round. For those who want to repeat it again for a third round :) *** I have been doing this workout for a long time now. Please do not feel bad for not doing a third round. This workout is already super challenging as it is
Perfect for beginners! I’ve been doing stairs and treadmill for so long now, it was time for something different. I really appreciate the variety of workouts within the session and the alternative options to truly cater to all levels of ability. Thank you!
Thank You Tom for the workout. I love your calm vibe, it helps a lot actually! Forearm press-ups are pretty challenging, but still fun. I will stick around.🐵
Thanks from Atlanta, Georgia, for this great workout. just found your site and really like the consistency with which its done. Being very intentional to do it properly. will continue to use it to gain strength and mobility. At 59 and having just picked up climbing, this will be a great addition. I played soccer for 30 yrs and so enjoy calisthenics. thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for actually doing the workouts instead of just saying them. Wish someone great would make full videos like this. I have some thoughts of how some of these should be but I don't know how to workout and gain a good body with this Calisthenics stuff.
Thanks, I already have many longer ones on here already in my Calisthenics playlist and a good selection of 45-60 min follow alongs on my TPT Studio 👍🏼
I’m 42 years old, 110kg 6”1 so I hide my fat gain pretty well but decided enough is enough and now I’m aiming to get back to 90kg It’s killing me but my 5th day in and I’m lasting longer with this routine, I’m watching what I’m eating drinking water when normally it would be fizzy drinks! I ain’t gonna stop till I stick with the whole 15 mins with extra breaks and I’m at the target weight and fitter for my 2 year old baby boy! Thanks for the vid I definitely appreciate it!

Hello! I will start doing this daily soon! I can't wait to be able to do pushups again. My knee has been hurting for the past 4 months so for now I am just setting a timer for 15 minutes and doing the stretches that I can. Thank you for this it will help so much with staying in shape. I am going to the doctor about my knee as it is not normal for teenagers apparently but somehow I got some knee disease or something
I had really bad knees as a teenager with a condition called Osgood-Schlatter Disease which is linked to growing pains. I grew out of it and my knees are fine now. Worth looking up 👍🏼
@@TomPetoTraining thanks, my doctor thinks that might be what it is but my growth is way too slow for my age for it to be predicted, getting x-rays this weekend since if I have Osgood Schlatters it is abnormal and I need treatment. Thank you again for making this video
@@andrewjames683 yeah, the doctor said it was broken, then had a follow up a week later and I have patelar tendinitis. The second doctor had no idea how the first one thought it was a fracture. This may sound like good news, but the doctor said that the only advantage is that I don't have to wear a cast, even though tendinitis is considered more serious than minor fractures
My first time with type of exercise I was terrible but I saved this and I will keep working my way up😊😊and looking forward to trying more of our routines
11:10 So quick question, on the second round of the forearm push-ups (hellish by the way) I begin to feel a slight pain at my lower back/spine. Like some serious stretch was occuring in that area. Is that normal or is there some adjustments I need to make?

@@propeace7211 I’d say more strength but some muscle mass will usually come with increased strength. How much you gain muscle size will really depend on how much your eating. Whilst you could still get stronger without eating more.
Most of these exercises look like a great start for a beginner like myself. I've seen other UA-camrs with calisthenics videos and the moves are way to hard for a person beginning their workout journey.

Advent day 1 👀 Let's see how this goes
Tom would you mind clarifying what the "challenge version" is for the hollow holds and the wipers?
2 legs straight with lower back flat to floor is most challenging hollow variation and straight leg wipers is harder than bent legs

Felt so good after. How many times do I do this every week
Could do it most days as only short or mix some of my others in.
Do CALISTHENICS exercises focus more on muscle mass or muscle strength? Will my body appear sculpted without bulking up?
More strength in general but you will likely develop some muscle. This will largely depend on your nutrition

How many calories does this workout burn?
Calisthenics is great for strength and building lean muscle mass. Probs not really for burning a lot of kcal. At a guess maybe 500-600kcal/hour
