I've been searching calisthenics for beginners foe two days and this is the only one that is actually easy to understand, and actually works out instead of just talking and no movement for 80% of the clip. Absolute legend
This was the first workout I ever did for starting calisthenics and even though I've been resistance training for 2 years, it was challenging but also easy enough to perform. I'll definitely continue, thanks!

Very inspiring channel! 💯 I started calisthenics in November last year after doing the 100 push-ups a day for 30 days challenge. I’ve been hooked ever since and it has changed my life and I can keep this going my whole life unlike heavy weight training. Highly recommend sticking at the basic movements and just do more reps. It’s also better for your joints too. Here’s my current workout plan that I’ve tried a few but I think this is my final. Well for now 😂 Upper Pull-ups Push-ups Dips Shoulder press Hanging leg raises Lower Squats Romanian deadlift Split squat or pistol squats Calves raises Hanging leg raises I do upper and lower body splits as full body was getting harder as my reps went up. I do this like 4 times a week along with running once or twice a week. But take longer rests if my body needs it. My reps go between 50, 100 or 200. Lower reps for pull-ups than push-ups. Higher reps for legs unless I decide to use heavier weights I do 50 reps. I usually do 5 reps x10 sets for pull-ups and 10 reps x10 or x20 sets for push-ups and shoulder press and legs. This is such a great way to build muscle and lose weight and feel super energetic. Definitely worth trying this for 1 or 2 months if you are looking to get in great shape with little equipment, you can do this at a park with a resistance band and a tree or at a gym with dumbbells and pull-up bar. 🔥
Remember everyone 1st step is not to begin workout or diet. even before thinking of working out the 1st step is conditioning of mind. It's a long continuous process. If you have conditioned mind to do it then start
It happens simultaneously. A step along the path creates the path itself. Importantly it is better to start slow and correct rather than worry about how many or how long compared to other people. Meditating in your goals and your body during the beginning especially will create the mind body connection and that is what conditioning is.

I did this workout for the first time yesterday. And do be honest I didn’t feel it was doing all that much - I didn’t feel I was really working too hard…. But today I can barely move! I can feel a good ache in muscles I didn’t realise I was working yesterday. I should have done the cool down (my bad) but I’ll definitely be doing this workout again - I’m really impressed. Quality training doesn’t always create a burning feeling, especially with less isolation exercises and more multi muscle movements. Also it’s a strength workout and not HIIT so you won’t feel as sweaty. The results from it are great though 👌🏼👍🏼 Keep it up 💪🏼

I decided to get serious with my life and begin working out. Calisthenics seems to be perfect for me since I don’t necessarily want a huge build. I just started like 5 days ago and I’ve been consistent with this beginner tutorial. How long do you think I should continue before going to other routines? The core and the negative push ups were slightly easier today so I believe I’m improving slightly.

First time working out in a loooong time. I didn't realize how out of shape I am, as I struggled from about the half way point. I have to commit to this. I hate being this far out of shape.
Depends a bit of exercise but generally exhale during (or just after) concentric effort phase (e.g pushing on a press up) and inhale just before or during eccentric lengthening phase (e.g on was down).
This is amazing. I’ve just started working out at 47 years. Just wanted to know how long do I continue these until I move to the intermediate exercises?
Once you can complete this with good technique for the full intervals just have a go at the intermediate one. You can always come back to this for a while if it’s too difficult.
Great Video ! ( first time trying calisthenics) 😄 although I would like to ask if I should everyday 2x a day? And is it normal your head to hurt when you're doing a half hollow load
Once a day is probably enough, feel free to double up with another of my videos such as an ab video or flexibility video (see my playlists). It’s normal for neck to get tired during hollow hold but not usually head.

Depends on your idea of beginner but yes it should be. Have a go and let me know how you find it. 👍🏼
First time working out in a loooong time. I didn't realize how out of shape I am, as I struggled from about the half way point. I have to commit to this. I hate being this far out of shape.
You can always pause video for extra rest time whilst you build up your fitness. Keep it up 💪🏼
Hello, when do we inhale and exhale during these exercises? I thought there is a technique to it too
Depends a bit of exercise but generally exhale during (or just after) concentric effort phase (e.g pushing on a press up) and inhale just before or during eccentric lengthening phase (e.g on was down).
Love your videos. A question tho. How long do you suggest one should do the beginner workout before advancing
Give the intermediate level a try as soon as you can finish this one with good control and strict technique
