I feel I’m ready for this, anyone and everyone please root me on lol. Thank for the video . Jeff Jeff
Very inspiring channel! 💯 I started calisthenics in November last year after doing the 100 push-ups a day for 30 days challenge. I’ve been hooked ever since and it has changed my life and I can keep this going my whole life unlike heavy weight training. Highly recommend sticking at the basic movements and just do more reps. It’s also better for your joints too. Here’s my current workout plan that I’ve tried a few but I think this is my final. Well for now 😂 Upper Pull-ups Push-ups Dips Shoulder press Hanging leg raises Lower Squats Romanian deadlift Split squat or pistol squats Calves raises Hanging leg raises I do upper and lower body splits as full body was getting harder as my reps went up. I do this like 4 times a week along with running once or twice a week. But take longer rests if my body needs it. My reps go between 50, 100 or 200. Lower reps for pull-ups than push-ups. Higher reps for legs unless I decide to use heavier weights I do 50 reps. I usually do 5 reps x10 sets for pull-ups and 10 reps x10 or x20 sets for push-ups and shoulder press and legs. This is such a great way to build muscle and lose weight and feel super energetic. Definitely worth trying this for 1 or 2 months if you are looking to get in great shape with little equipment, you can do this at a park with a resistance band and a tree or at a gym with dumbbells and pull-up bar. 🔥
This was the first workout I ever did for starting calisthenics and even though I've been resistance training for 2 years, it was challenging but also easy enough to perform. I'll definitely continue, thanks!
Iam going to try this workout today Age :15 Height: 164 Weight:36 Target: strength, gain weight and learn new calisthenics Target weight:45 1 day : hard but completed ✅ Now I can't walk properly

Can’t thank enough for demonstrating and going through the process with us and the tips are very much appreciated! I know that I’ve got the mindset (rule #1) and motivation. Cheers once again.
Remember everyone 1st step is not to begin workout or diet. even before thinking of working out the 1st step is conditioning of mind. It's a long continuous process. If you have conditioned mind to do it then start
It happens simultaneously. A step along the path creates the path itself. Importantly it is better to start slow and correct rather than worry about how many or how long compared to other people. Meditating in your goals and your body during the beginning especially will create the mind body connection and that is what conditioning is.
I did this workout for the first time yesterday. And do be honest I didn’t feel it was doing all that much - I didn’t feel I was really working too hard…. But today I can barely move! I can feel a good ache in muscles I didn’t realise I was working yesterday. I should have done the cool down (my bad) but I’ll definitely be doing this workout again - I’m really impressed. Thank you!
Quality training doesn’t always create a burning feeling, especially with less isolation exercises and more multi muscle movements. Also it’s a strength workout and not HIIT so you won’t feel as sweaty. The results from it are great though 👌🏼👍🏼 Keep it up 💪🏼
I’ve always been pretty healthy but lost it all last few years and now im a big chubster! This is was fantastic I really feel with the amount of time I have available I will be able to have time to do this. Thanks, Sam
Thanks Sam, well done for getting back active. Glad to help, keep it up and start to form a new picture of yourself leaving the ‘chubster’ identity as a past version of yourself 💪🏼
I decided to get serious with my life and begin working out. Calisthenics seems to be perfect for me since I don’t necessarily want a huge build. I just started like 5 days ago and I’ve been consistent with this beginner tutorial. How long do you think I should continue before going to other routines? The core and the negative push ups were slightly easier today so I believe I’m improving slightly.
Thanks mate! I wanted to get in shape after 10 years of inactivity. I did your exercices for a couple of weeks during july/august and am playing Squash since September. Thanks a lot for the quality videos, the motivation and the positive vibes you spread. ❤

Great Video ! ( first time trying calisthenics) 😄 although I would like to ask if I should everyday 2x a day? And is it normal your head to hurt when you're doing a half hollow load
Once a day is probably enough, feel free to double up with another of my videos such as an ab video or flexibility video (see my playlists). It’s normal for neck to get tired during hollow hold but not usually head.
This is amazing. I’ve just started working out at 47 years. Just wanted to know how long do I continue these until I move to the intermediate exercises?
Once you can complete this with good technique for the full intervals just have a go at the intermediate one. You can always come back to this for a while if it’s too difficult.
Callisthenics first timer 🙋🏼♀️ just curious as to why is it so much harder to do the compressions in the position you suggest rather than leaning backwards?
Welcome! Hamstrings and glutes become more stretched creating more opposing resistance. Also less range left to complete before hip flexors at at most shortened position.
Try to do 3-5 workouts a week. Could be this one 3x or mix in others. Move onto intermediate level once you can finish this with strict technique for all the complete sets 👍🏼💪🏼
Depends a bit of exercise but generally exhale during (or just after) concentric effort phase (e.g pushing on a press up) and inhale just before or during eccentric lengthening phase (e.g on was down).
What parts of the body does this workout do? I’m trying to get into calisthenics and decided to do this workout but I feel like this workout only worked on my legs and a bit of my core. Should I be worried or try and find a different workout to follow?
A bit of everything, if you have a pull up bar, rings or dumbbells I have loads of videos hitting those with more emphasis. Here is another upper body focused Calisthenics one that does shoulders, Chest, triceps and upper back posture muscles 15 Min CALISTHENICS UPPER BODY WORKOUT at Home | No Equipment ua-cam.com/video/_yXNph-LU-0/v-deo.html
Are these exercises in this video supposed to target the whole body's muscles? If not, I'd like you to point me to the viseo that does. I did these now for the first time, but I'm not sure I got all the muscles working.
It’s a full body approach to working out involved multiple parts upper and lower. But not designed to literally work every single muscle. Only ones not hit much in this are lats and biceps but if you want to train those well you need some dumbbells or a bar.
Depends on your nutrition and what other workouts your doing for the other days. Do 3-4/ week of these and you should see progress quickly (within 4-6 weeks)
I've done a 2 month exercise of 20 minutes full body with dumbbell of 12 kg (Tibo inshape videos same everyday), should I start as a beginner or should I go with intermediate ? do you do calisthenics with dumbbells ?
Thanks for the video and guidence. I have been doing the basics for the last 2 weeks. Been able to do with ease and comfort. When do I start medium level? Do I do basics first and then medium (means 40 mins + 40 mins total) or medium is enough? Please suggest. Thanks again.
Sounds like you’re ready to try the Intermediate version. Probably do the intermediate one first and if you have some energy/time after you could do my 10min Calisthenics Core routine and a mobility routine.
During hollow hold I am able to do 40 sec hold , but I am sensing slight curl in lower back means my whole body is not touching the floor in plain . Is it ok or have to correct it?

School set this for work
Same
Haha which school?
Callisthenics first timer 🙋🏼♀️ just curious as to why is it so much harder to do the compressions in the position you suggest rather than leaning backwards?
Welcome! Hamstrings and glutes become more stretched creating more opposing resistance. Also less range left to complete before hip flexors at at most shortened position.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you! New subs here!
Welcome!
Wonderful....Thank you
You’re welcome
Just done this as my first ever workout.
How often Would you recommend doing this before moving on or would you mix it up?
Try to do 3-5 workouts a week. Could be this one 3x or mix in others. Move onto intermediate level once you can finish this with strict technique for all the complete sets 👍🏼💪🏼
Might seem like a silly question but Is it possible to gain weight by doing calisthenics? I guess that comes down to eating
@@Santiago00 as you said yes if you are in a kcal surplus then yes.
Love your videos. A question tho. How long do you suggest one should do the beginner workout before advancing
Give the intermediate level a try as soon as you can finish this one with good control and strict technique
Can you do this Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday or is it better to do this with a rest day in between making it Monday, Wednesday and Friday?
Yes as it’s only 20mins you could do it almost every day probably but I have other you could mix in if you want some variety
Yea for sure, variety is always a good thing. Thanks for the reply!
Should you stretch before doing this for the first time?
Do some extra dynamic stretches if you feel like you need it
Awesome beginner workout.
Glad you liked it!
Hello, when do we inhale and exhale during these exercises? I thought there is a technique to it too
Depends a bit of exercise but generally exhale during (or just after) concentric effort phase (e.g pushing on a press up) and inhale just before or during eccentric lengthening phase (e.g on was down).
Here is another upper body focused Calisthenics one that does shoulders, Chest, triceps and upper back posture muscles 15 Min CALISTHENICS UPPER BODY WORKOUT at Home | No Equipment
ua-cam.com/video/_yXNph-LU-0/v-deo.html
Are these exercises in this video supposed to target the whole body's muscles? If not, I'd like you to point me to the viseo that does. I did these now for the first time, but I'm not sure I got all the muscles working.
It’s a full body approach to working out involved multiple parts upper and lower. But not designed to literally work every single muscle. Only ones not hit much in this are lats and biceps but if you want to train those well you need some dumbbells or a bar.
@@TomPetoTraining do you have a video that includes them that also includes the rest of the muscles? Cause I'd love to try it.
You know, I'll include them myself. Thank you for answering. These exercises were fun. I'll include mine and see how it goes.
thank you!
Is it okay if I only do this for my workout, also I work out 7 days a week, so when should I see results?
Depends on your nutrition and what other workouts your doing for the other days. Do 3-4/ week of these and you should see progress quickly (within 4-6 weeks)
@@TomPetoTraining okay thank you so much, many UA-camr don’t usually reply to comments so I’m glad to get advice from the creator.
@@jasnoorkhabra it’s a very generalised answer, hard to give specifics without knowing you personally. Keep it up though 👍🏼💪🏼
Doing A knee Pushup for every like I get I swear on my life I'll do it
Great workout. This was the first work out perplexity AI recommended.
@@CiaraTrujillo-rk7pr great, no idea what that is but appreciate them bringing you to the channel 👍🏼
Thanks a lot Mr. TomPeto
During hollow hold I am able to do 40 sec hold , but I am sensing slight curl in lower back means my whole body is not touching the floor in plain . Is it ok or have to correct it?
Bring one knee into chest to avoid arch or bring arms and legs up a bit higher/ steeper angle 👍🏼
Best workout ever
Thanks!
Is this something you can do as a daily routine?
Yes definitely
That’s was lit thanks man
You’re welcome
This was awesome bro.
Thanks 💪🏼
