  • Hopefully this wasn't too confusing lol. I originally filmed this before the pandemic so I was definitely more unorganized back then. Feel free to ask me any questions for more clarification as I'm more than willing to help.
    I plan on getting back into making UA-cam videos more regularly so thank you to all my subscribers for sticking around during these rough times.
    Also, I will be making more tech videos since that is what my channel is based on. I'm planning for more iPhone and other Apple product repairs and restorations very soon. I've also been working on gaming console repairs too so I'm excited to share that all with you!
    Thank you all again!!!

    Pretty nice set up. For me I never used the rear wipers so it was a perfect area to mount the camera and has that more clean JDM look I was particularly going for. The reason I didn’t install it there is because I didn’t want to do any solid drilling into the body. Another thing is the lip of that plastic cyst out so much of your camera view. If you’re ok with that it’s perfect 🤙🏾 it’s definitely a pain in the arseee to fish that wires in the chamber on that hatch! Oh, and I did mine go my reverse bulb. I didn’t want to tap into the main. Just me tho

    Can pick up a panel pulling tool at almost any autoparts store or even WalMart. Can pull those clips without breaking them when they get stuck like that 1.

    Awesome video. Your setup came out look good. I had an electrical question. So I’m going to do the 13:55 pro tip and connect a wire from down there to the head unit Power cable for the camera. That will provide power and reverse trigger? At the backend of the car w the original 12V cable for powe and ground cable, did you just ground those since you’re getting power and signal from 13:55? I would’ve liked to connect the back end wires to the reverse light but it’s too far to make that connection. Or did u connect to the light as well? Thanks

    wait so, would taping into the reverse signal up front have the same effect as taping into the reverse light in the back?

    What is the red wire connected to on the back of the radio. Red wire with the yellow rca cable.

    Can't help but notice with 75% fuel, your range is 162 miles. How far can you go with 1 full tank of gas? I'm getting 325 miles per tank on my 2012 xB.

    You never ever drill holes in sheet metal like that. Dude! You ruined your hatch. No silicone, patch, or bondo will help you with rust now

    • @LuminousPlasma
      @LuminousPlasma  3 роки тому

      I figured as much. The camera kit came with that little hole saw and instructed to use it like that. Looking back on it now, that was definitely one of the worst decisions I made but there's not much I can do about it as of right now. I'm sure there are preventative measures I can implement still so all hope is not at all lost, but I wish I would've taken a stab at it from a different approach.
