- Step by step, how to process of installing fog lights on my Scion xB. These will fit the 2011-2015 xB and the install process will be similar for 2008-2010.
I chose to use aftermarket yellow fog light housings but the process is the same for clear OEM housings.
You can use halogen, LED or HID bulbs in your housings. Just keep an eye on them to make sure that they are not giving off too much heat or the housing can melt.

Great tutorial overall!
To clarify, the clip for removing the bumper cover, the slot in the "screw" is turned to be horizontal and then the screw can be pulled out in order to release the cover. If you simply turn it horizontal and yank hard enough to pull it off, you broke something.
You might want to get extras of those clips before starting this project because they can break when turning the screw.
Did not realize the hazard switch and the fog light switch were the same! Big thanks for that piece of information! Got my fogs off an RS at the junkyard but didn’t get to grab the switch, now I can finally confirm they work. Car is coming together very nicely man, thanks for the content!!

Thanks for the video! I didn't know these lights were pre-wired on the electrical loom. Very helpful! This is something I've been meaning to do since I bought my 2015 new. Also, I found some LEDs that switch between 5000K White and 3000k Amber light. Looking forward to trying them out with the fog lights.
I've had my 2012 XB2. Same in black, since new. I don't know why I didn't just get these added on when I bought it but, I still want to add these and I don't know why I haven't until now. But stumbling across this video has me looking for a set and ordering them ASAP. Thanks for the heads up. I need to remove my front clip anyways to repair chipping paint and rust that is starting on the corner of the front fender. Good excuse to do it all at once. Thanks for the awesome vid. Cheers.
I should add, I also run steelies year round. As my summer set is painted hot rod red and clad in full on 2 inch wide white walls. With chrome trim rings and center caps. Lowers on TRD springs. Sits mint.

Nice video. I have an iA, so it’s a little different, and I’m still trying to figure it out. Not gonna lie tho, when your bumper was resting on the ground, that gave me the impression of how an xB would look slammed!

Oh Shit! This one is real work with the cutting and all from the stock oem grill. Nice! There's a mod you can do to have all the lights running at the same time if you wish as well. It's overkill but 🤷🏾♂️
A little nervewracking cutting the grille, I considered doing that mod but its a little advanced for my wiring knowledge right now!
Great video! My fogs won’t turn on tho. It’s my suppose to be plug and play? I checked the relay also it’s fine or could it be the switch? I used the hazard switch just to try cause the fog switch came different. Still not working.
Do you know the diameter of the fog light itself? I am thinking about getting halo for the lights themselves.

Non-sequitur question - does your XB have a cargo cover installed? I'm referring to the privacy cargo cover in the hatch. Apparently it was an option.
Glad it was helpful! No cargo cover. You have to drill in to the plastic to install hooks for it

Do you know the fog light switch OEM part number. I've called several dealers none of them know anything. Got the Winjet brand all installed, junk switch from them bought another Amazon claimed it was compatible, nope had a green end. Should have bought the OEM Toyota kit with switch! Getting disgusted. I have two 2014 XB release Series. Got through the install till the switch. Thanks for your help!

What is the device do you have showing voltage to the left of the Stability Off button?
That's a usb plug you can find on Amazon. most people put them next to the shifter.
Hey! I recently installed my fog lights, same one as yours just not yellow, and they already got condensation in them. Are you having the same problem?
Yeah, mine have also melted in spots from the bulbs
Damn that sound bad, maybe your bulbs were too close to the lens and that cause it to melt? I might go back with the stock halogen if it’s gonna melt like yours
