Do you see the metal dog cage in the corner of the closet? I’m sure she was put in there all the time. I’m so glad that boy had the courage and smarts to get away…Edit yes that may be a basket of some kind. At first glance it looked like a kennel.
And to think about how these are people who deal with traumatic things every day. They still feel this way when it comes to children they respond to. It's heartbreaking but so necessary to have this compassion. That person is truly in the perfect role to provide that type of care.

she was so afraid to eat, so afraid to even move. The trauma these kids will have to carry around is a life scentence. Jodi and Ruby should get the same.
Yes it's a life sentence... After a while the hype and attention of the circumstances leaves; and then the kids are left alone with the traumatic ramifications of the abuse they went through.
@@snowwhite2524, their fellow prison inmates may just grant your wish. There are two ways criminals receive d3ath sentences. One is by a judge. The other is by an inmate.
You can’t tell me a father of SIX children knows nothing, absolutely nothing of what’s going on. He’s played the game of distancing himself very well and playing the victim.
I literally cried during that part. She clearly has no reality of what’s going on, she acted like a robot. The boy had the courage to seek help and speak. I feel like the sister copped it the worse. She had the body of a 2 year old 😭
Her quitness and the fact she has a buzzcut, makes her remind me of Eleven from Stranger Things. (I know thats a fictional show and this is real, but just wanted to share where my brain went, but this is absolutly horrible)
This hurts to watch. Because this little girl used to be the life and soul of every room with her cheeky attitude and independence. And now sat in the cupboard silent. I can’t imagine what they went through. I just pray they find peace and happiness.
@@Sophia-lb4jgyes! Sweet little boisterous Eve. Absolutely heartbreaking to see her abused and broken in that way. She was such a happy and silly child
She likely thinks it’s a test. Clearly they had tested her before and she was punished for it. I’m sure she was told the cops are ok with their treatment and will return them to her if they run. That’s a horrible position to put a child, or anyone, in.
The authorities had been called many times before or Ruby. As the neighbor man states. Too bad it had to get to the point where the kids were in such terrible shape.
the fact she was so scared to talk and eat shows you the abuse was extreme and they were likely broken like dogs and it is truly gut wrenching...I truly hope these children recover
Especially when she didn't respond when he says "We've got Jody out here... She's outside with us". She didn't want to go with the officer because I'm sure she wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere near that woman!
Big respect for the cops who let EF take her time in the closet and didn’t pressure her. She’s already clearly traumatized and they didn’t make it worse by forcing her to get out, they gave her at least a little control in that awful awful situation. Completely devastating but they really did their best to mitigate the damage at that point.
The cops approach was far too soft and passive. As a former child abuse victim I would have preferred the adults to lead and pull me out of the closet due to my extreme mental conditioning. I could not will myself to disobey my abusers mental conditioning. I was brutally physically and mentally abused, bloody beatings and mental torture. Even to this day my adult life has been severely affected by my experiences.
That poor little girl is SO traumatized. I can’t even imagine the years of therapy she’s going to need to undo all of the damage these evil women did to her.
I'm a trauma therapist and work with lots of children...I am so moved by the first responders' display of patience and compassionate, non forced approach. Well done!!!🎉
I remembered heparin in the 911 call that there have been other problems with Jodi like they already knew she was a puke. Does anyone know what she was doing for the neighbors to clue into her sickness? The houses are huge in that neighborhood and spaced out, so I would wonder what they saw prior to the children escaping.
And Jodi said if they knew all the pieces that they’d have empathy. Don’t need all the pieces to have empathy for those kids. Having empathy for them however, she’s delusional!
In Ruby's journal she describes putting her in a dog washing bin and hosing her down then shaving her head AGAIN because the poor girl dropped a box she was supposed to carry during the "corporal punishment". Horrifying!
Watching that baby slowly reach for the pizza and shakily touching the box like it may burn her is making me cry. What kind of monster could do this to their own children? I just want to hug them and tell them things will get better from here on out
It's disgusting, but Ruby and Jodi thought they were in the right. They somehow justified it all because they believed that demons were inside the children and that these things needed to be done for the kids to get rid of the demons.
The way that Ruby sat there with a smug attitude and refused to answer any questions tells you what kind of person she is. She definitely deserves every day of prison!
Which makes her "apology" in court that much harder to believe. She's evil and should never be allowed back in the free world and definitely never have any contact with those kids
@@babichickan181same... it looked to me like she was fully comfortable keeping eye contact with the 2 officers, almost like a game of control. Her response and tone about waiting for a lawyer was off the scale arrogant. She is completely twisted.
Yep. It was disturbing to watch. I don’t know how police officers do it, I don’t think I’d be able to control myself, sitting across from such a smug face knowing what she’d done… It doesn’t help that she has what my late nanna would have called “a face you’d never tire of punchin”.
Agree. Weird and sick. And guilty. Something isn't right up there in her head and I agree with one of you saying this is exactly why her so called "apology speech" (which basically was all about her, thanking all and nobody for treating HER, not one sincere sorry to her kids..)isn't to be taken serious, it's all fake.
I think the female paramedic telling this precious little girl that they helped her brother, made an impact. She knew he got to safety and help save her. Bless them both, bless all of the children and everyone involved in their rescue.
Yeah Everytime she blinked it ticked me off because she just wanted her lawyer and then she tells the court she's sorry and thanked all them involved 🙄🙄🙈
@@glendathegoodwitch6987 techincally she was still hiding cuase if it wasn't for the brother, poplice wouldn't know where to find her at. Although it was punishment. There was a reason they weren't in sight just in case anyone came over unexpectedly.
The Police handled this so amazingly it made me tear up. The fact that they sat on the floor with her eating pizza, they didn’t force her out of the closet. They met her where she was. She looks so sad, sitting there all skinny with her head shaved. It’s not normal for a child that age to be that petrified of adults, especially Police and EMT. Excellent work all the way around.
I think the little girl didn't realize that she was being saved (saved forever)... She probably thought the police just came to ask questions and were going to leave later and that she would be back under the control of Jody and Ruby. She probably thought that if she didn't say anything at all....she wouldn't get in more trouble when they left. The poor kid was terrified of those two women.
@@katiehenry7She probably thought they were there to put her in jail for being “a bad girl”. The boy who escaped told them something like he knows he’s a bad boy & deserved to be punished, but he was too hungry or his physical abuse was too much. It often takes years to decades for abused kids to really realize how abused they were & that there’s nothing they could’ve done to stop the abuse because their abuser is rotten & miserable on the inside so the try to beat the misery out by hurting & blaming other people. There are 2 types of parents who abuse their kids. The first kind was abused as a child & is copying their parents parenting; they don’t want to abuse their kids, but they don’t know how to make themselves stop, & it’s also made worse if they are drunk or high. They do love their kids are often fun & loving to their kids too. The second kind of abuser can’t be taught how to control their tempers & learn better parenting methods because they actually enjoy hurting people. Jodi, Rubi, & possibly Kevin those kind of abusers; they’re sadists. I think you have to compare them to serial killers to truly understand them. They aren’t people who just lose it because a kid is crying or misbehaving in some way. They like to think about evil things they will do when they are driving to work or going to sleep, etc. Those type of people should never be given custody or even visitation with their kids because they are the kind of parents who kill their children either because they take things too far & the kids die “accidentally” or they get so mad they kill them on purpose.
The cops approach was far too soft and passive. As a former child abuse victim I would have preferred the adults to lead and pull me out of the closet due to my extremely mental conditioning. I could not will myself to disobey my abusers mental conditioning. I was brutally physically and mentally abused, bloody beatings and mental torture. Even to this day my adult life has been severely affected by experiences. Children depend on adults for leadership and command, they are not strong and independent.
As a certified children’s trauma coach, major kudos to the first responders for giving that child reassurance and all the time she needed until she felt comfortable to talk and move. Thats the way it should be done especially dealing with a child trauma
I thimk he asked for two, because after he asked to be taken to the police he said “just one is fine”…I bet anything his second favor was water or food. Horrific.
Them letting her take her time to come out of the closet & feeding her was probably the only ounce of kindness that has been shown and given to her in so long it’s heartbreaking
I hope the 12 year old boy knows what an incredible brave person he is. Kids often don't realize that what they're experiencing is wrong, because they're still young and vulnerable, and the abuse is all they know. He knew he needed to get help, and even sent the police to rescue his sister. He's a hero.
In one of the diaries it said Russell told Ruby "I'd rather have some water than you as my mother" They could not break him, he new what they were doing was wrong.
She called her attorney before answering the door. Clearly she knows she was doing something wrong. Absolutely disgusting behavior! Hope they both get locked up for a LONG time!!
She has no idea at that point when she's standing outside in all her arrogance with her attorney on the phone that that is her last day of freedom for a very long time.
And they cut her hair off. This explains why they were asking Hildebrand about three children - they thought the child with the buzzcut was a boy. Girls in Mormon country don’t have cropped hair.
All those scars, knowing she’d been forced to jump into cacti repeatedly. They wouldn’t have made it another week like this, Russell was about o go into sepsis.
To see E F so silent and afraid is utterly heartbreaking. That little girl was always such a little firecracker, a ball off energy, full of noise and fun. To see what they’ve reduced her to has truly broken me. These women should never see the light of day again. I honestly think both would have died if it hadn’t been for R’s bravery that day.
Russell’s bravery goes above and beyond many adult men I know!! They would have certainly died if not for him!! Hearing that they shaved Evie’s head just broke my heart into pieces. I’m sitting here in a puddle of tears.
Stop watching family channels. If they aren’t abusing kids to this degree, they’re exploiting them for money. They’re all evil. Stop supporting these asshles
I worked with foster care in NY. We called cps in her county in Utah back in 2019. Utah needs to be held accountable, too. They waited years to help these poor kids
The fact that child was so scared that she just sat there, that she had no hair and probably felt lost and unsure if they were honestly going to help. They were so soft with her, letting her know she was safe, but let her take her time in understanding she was safe.
@@melodycool9525 unfortunately, women don’t really bother child abusers in prison…not where I worked, anyway. Lots of name calling at first when they first find out the charges but that’s about it. More bark than bite…
Seeing her so scared to eat broke me. I've worked with scared dogs at shelters and they have this same behavior. But she's not a dog, she's a 10 yo girl traumatized by her own mother!
I thought the same, reminded me of videos I've seen with people helping stray dogs. The care and patience needed to let them know they're safe and gradually get them out of the situation they're in.
Reminded me of my dog rocksy. We got her from the pound and she was very skittish. Took her a month before she would eat in my presence. Took 6 months for her to come into the house. Now she’s plump happy and loves napping and chilling on the couch with me.
The people TAKING the advice as gospel are terrifying. Guarantee there's someone punishing their children by withholding food right now because of Franke's "advice". She had MILLIONS of followers.
The male police officer must be the nicest guy ever. He was so sweet. Praise all the care takers who had to deal with this horrific situation for being so calm and kind.
Franke in that interview room. That is the real face of evil. The arrogance. What we saw in court was an oscar performance. There is no remorse. She’s been cruel & evil long before Hildebrandt came on the scene. I hope she gets much longer than the 4 years minimum. I hope for more than 15 years.
Tbf this is how EVERYONE should behave if you're being questioned by the police like this, whether you did something wrong or not. It's ALWAYS better to exercise your rights than to talk to the police.
Yeah it sounded absolutely awful on paper, but to actually see the conditions, the mental and physical abuse that the kids were in... Can't wrap my head around how a "mother" could do this
Look how thin their arms and legs are.. And the girl still sits in silence for over an hour before the hunger overcame the fear. Imagine how mentally abused they must've been...
When that boy asks if he could have two favours and says if he could be taken to the police station and then says that it's just one favour.. My heart broke.
i get so nervous now when i see a cop interacting with someone who is "non compliant" due to not reacting bc of mental distress. this one was a relief to see, wonder if they have kids of their own ❤
@rachaelmccarl yes, and the officer and EMT who both sat with her. That was heart wrenching to watch. Those were the first kind and gentle words those kids had heard in a long time.
That little boy is so amazingly brave. Asking for help and going against your abuser is one of the hardest things to do and he should be so proud of himself! What a little hero. He saved himself And his siblings.
This sweet girl, this reminds me of pets who have been abused and they are terrified of anyone who showss them compassion or love. This breaks my heart and I hope these kids are getting the help and love they deserve.
She is doing what Jodi’s niece Jessi described. She said that she wasn’t allowed to talk and that Jodi would have people test her to try to get her to talk and if she did she would be punished
OMG!!!! That is so evil!!! Complete mental manipulation! I hope Jodi spends lots of time in solitary confinement. I bet Jesse would be an excellent person to help these kids recover since she’s already walked this path herself.
The way Ruby just sits there staring at the detectives like they're less than she just disgusts me. That was the way she treated her kids like they were less than her. Pure evil, and it makes me sick. Both of those kids are the same age as my kids and it hurt my heart to hear EF speak in such a sweet small voice. 😢
This reminds of another family and the daughter got away but she was 17 look and sound like 7 years because of abuse she endure her and siblings and it was 13 of them I believe happen few years ago.
@@Luci-pz8xx Eh, empathy is a great quality to have as a cop or EMT, but unfortunately not guaranteed in the same way that would be expected of a mental health worker. These guys handled it like a specialist in child behavior and psychology would have handled it. It shows a great level of care.
Omg, they shaved her hair off, and she's wearing boy clothes. I legit have tears running down my face. Her little, tiny arms, and how big that shirt and jeans are show how emaciated she really is. Eve taking 4 hours to leave a dark closet totally breaks my heart. The amount of brainwashing/torture both children have gone through is devastating!
Out of all the things that happened to them that could make you cry it was a hair cut that did it, find that a very strange thing to say. Do you have a phobia over hair salons and/or barber's or something? lol
@@randysalsman6992 wow, if you are capable of reading a whole paragraph maybe you would have noticed that the commenter also talks about the fear, the emaciation, the refusal to move. Maybe they mention the hair because that's a classic way that abusers and cults try to dehumanize and depersonalize people. It's a visual and physical way to take control away of someone's personal expression of their identity and every time they look in a mirror they see that reminder. But ya know, or it could be that stuff you said...

They shaved that baby girl’s head. Let that swirl around for a minute. Our two youngest children we adopted from China. They shaved every child’s head in that orphanage, no matter the age or gender. It’s beyond cruel.
My youngest two are from Romania. In an orphanage situation it's usually about lice, for practical reasons. This though, was about power, cruelty, and crazy.
@@krisniznik3953 I live in Romania and years ago I would help out in our local orphanage of about 400 kids. I didn't really at first know who was a girl and who was a boy, because of their shaved head..There was lice and there was abuse.. It was heartbreaking. The abuse I see in these videos is also heartbreaking.. it's beyond shocking. :(
I was in a simular situation. When my mom married my step dad it got better for me. I lived off dog bones. I couldn't talk. My vocal cords wouldn't even let me if I could . I'm damage and in tears just remembering. I'm at work taking a break . Gotta snap out of it.
It could easily be another Timothy Ferguson situation. I can’t understand how their father could have not even seen his children in over a year. In both situations the father could have been protecting their children and could have stopped the abuse.

As someone who desperately wanted children and was a devoted teacher and nanny for 14 years, this makes me so unbelievably sick to my stomach that this woman was permitted by whatever powers that be to have 6 beautiful children and treat them with such cruelty, disgrace and absolute torture. I don't wish harm on most people but I hope this woman gets exactly what she deserves. Blessings to these kids and I'm sending them so much healing love.

Major admiration for the officers & EMT who compassionately interacted with the youngest daughter, ever so patiently for nearly 4 hours. That's pretty unheard of. This was handled exceedingly well and should be used as training footage for officers all over the US.

I started crying when that little girl started eating the pizza. It was like she had to think about it for a long time probably because she'd been told so many times that she doesn't deserve it, or would get in trouble for eating. So sad.
Right. It almost reminded me of those videos of abused dogs being rescued. She was behaving just like those beaten down dogs in those rescue videos. Even in those videos, when the dogs are given food, regardless how hungry they are they'll just stare at the food for a while thinking its a trap or something before finally eating.
The way the officer spoke to the girl is so caring and kind. Must've been so hard to find her like that and see how traumatized she is. The officer was so patient.
In a recorded phone call between ruby and her husband she tells him that people just don’t realize that children are evil! She was in jail at the time of the call. It made me sick. Children are innocent! She’s no mother, what she did is evil.

Trauma these poor kids will have to endure the rest of their life 😔

You can’t tell me a father of SIX children knows nothing, absolutely nothing of what’s going on. He’s played the game of distancing himself very well and playing the victim.
I've read about other peoples' encounters with Jodi Hildebrandt and how the father and mother are separated as part of Jodi's brainwashing therapy.
He deserves to be arrested for assisting in this abuse. The fact is he made no effort to help his own kids
He’s a pathetic wuss for not putting a stop to it. I totally agree he knew!
They had a very invasive UA-cam channel. They separated and were in the process of a divorce.

How flipping sad to see how small she was. I cried watching that and how broken she was. They are just children. Like wtf. So cruel and evil
Her quitness and the fact she has a buzzcut, makes her remind me of Eleven from Stranger Things. (I know thats a fictional show and this is real, but just wanted to share where my brain went, but this is absolutly horrible)

Big respect for the cops who let EF take her time in the closet and didn’t pressure her. Completely devastating but they really did their best to mitigate the damage at that point.

To find out her hair was shaved is disturbing they stripped that young girl of her identity
😢 devastating
Summer Wells' head was shaved too.
Jodis niece said Jodi did the same thing to her, cutting off her hair.
Ruby wrote about why her head was shaved in her journal they just released.
I cried so hard just now!! They are DEMONS….PURE EVIL!😢
Bless that neighbor who took the time to listen to this poor boy.
The kid was so sweet and polite when he asked for help.
That little girl behaved like an abused dog. Breaks my heart 😢
And Jodi said if they knew all the pieces that they’d have empathy. Don’t need all the pieces to have empathy for those kids. Having empathy for them however, she’s delusional!
You could not have described that poor baby better than that. It probably took her so long to stand up because she is so starved.😢
Exactly omg 😢 what a painful description
In Ruby's journal she describes putting her in a dog washing bin and hosing her down then shaving her head AGAIN because the poor girl dropped a box she was supposed to carry during the "corporal punishment". Horrifying!

Me too felt like giving them a big hug and saying you are in the right hands now . Free from all torture that you faced
That's absolutely horrific as I sit here and cry.
It's disgusting, but Ruby and Jodi thought they were in the right. They somehow justified it all because they believed that demons were inside the children and that these things needed to be done for the kids to get rid of the demons.
I hope she doesn't end up with an bad eating disorder lter in life. Thay kind of abuse messes a lot of people up.
The way that Ruby sat there with a smug attitude and refused to answer any questions tells you what kind of person she is. She definitely deserves every day of prison!
Which makes her "apology" in court that much harder to believe. She's evil and should never be allowed back in the free world and definitely never have any contact with those kids
I found Ruby to be quite frightening during her interview! Her head movements and strange blinking made me feel so uncomfortable!

@@katiehenry7 yeah I also got the sense that she thought she would get them in trouble and get punished later. So sad

I left emergency for this reason I began to burn out. I moved to private residential care.
I worked psych ED as a social worker and have seen the same. The world is mad.
Seeing that girl too afraid to move or speak bc she's sure she'll be punished for it is heartbreaking. Her brother was so brave for escaping and making sure his sister was also rescued
2:32 the fact random strangers felt more sorrow than their own mother did.
Again, every kid deserves a parent but not all parents deserve a kid.
Only 30 years? Should be life without parole
Isn't life 25 years though
@@roborob4000it depends on the state. In some states life is 25 years in others minimum life is 40+ years
I thought I heard 15 years?
15x2
@@kimberlyt4361 she said has much as 15 years yes your right
This is the most heartbreaking footage I have ever seen. That poor boy going door to door, shoeless and wounded, and that baby girl sitting in a dark closet like a zombie. This is the stuff of nightmares. I hope these women serve the maximum time their sentences allow.
They only got sentenced to a total of 4-15 years max... !
I hope they spend a lot of time in solitary confinement with very little food.
@@neilsun2521 I thought they got 4 - 60 years
They shaved that baby girl’s head. Let that swirl around for a minute.
Our two youngest children we adopted from China. They shaved every child’s head in that orphanage, no matter the age or gender. It’s beyond cruel.
In China it's to control head lice
Bless your kind heart Tiff X, for the two innocent, defenceless children you undoubtedly saved ❤❤❤
It’s how they control for lice in orphanages overseas. Surprised you didn’t know that?
The vibration of using them sent weird vibration throughout my body. It took years to be able to use my voice. The trauma mentally has never left. I never blended in with people . I'm damage and in tears just remembering. I'm at work taking a break . Gotta snap out of it.
So sorry to hear this. Sending you the loving hugs you missed out on.
Thank goodness the boy was able to flee and go to the neighbors. If he hadn't no one would've been the wiser😢
It could easily be another Timothy Ferguson situation. I can’t understand how their father could have not even seen his children in over a year. In both situations the father could have been protecting their children and could have stopped the abuse.
I work in healthcare. They way they described the boys wounds, if he didn't get medical help he would have ended up dying from an infection.
I dont understand how the husband has not been charged with anything! There is NO way he didn't know there was abuse going on!!
He's got secrets. He was very desperate to get his laptop and journal.
Exactly...who allows their wife to move in with their Therapist and take the kid's?
I really hope he gets charged. Deadbeat not talking to his children in over a year. Even the one that was 18 and had moved out?
He has an obligation as their father to make sure they’re safe, fed, clothed & housed. And he didn’t even speak to them. Shameful.
maybe because in today's world as a man he is just expected to provide; protest too strongly against the woman and she takes his kids and the house and he has to still provide? ever think of this default situation that plays out in courts all over the country every day? ever think of this?
I cried watching the little girl eating 😭😭😭😭
She was so scared but her hunger outweighed her fear😭
My thought too 😭
I also couldn't hold it when she started eating. Deprived of such a basic need for so long. Horrific.
Being shown more humanity, kindness and care from strangers than from your own mother, is absolutely heartbreaking and soul destroying 😢 I’m praying for these children and their recovery. I hope their spirit hasn’t forever been broken by those monsters! These responders did so well with them and I’m glad that everyone they first came into contact with (including the neighbour) firstly believed them and showed them nothing but compassion. The strength of that little boy to break out and attempt to get help after seeing how hard it was for his sister to leave is staggering. I hope they never have to encounter anyone like those women again 😭
Makes you wonder how many other “parents” are doing this kind of stuff
The scary part is that Ruby had "millions" of subscribers is just disturbing.
Mhmm then paint this perfect family image on social media
So many. So so many. Thats if they are found in time. 😢
@@cn8299 i watched their videos as a child and never understood how wrong it was until i got older and revisited some of their videos and saw how manipulative she is. she is teaching parents to act this way with their children AND making children think this is normal
I had not gone there, and now I can’t stop that thought!
Watching Ruby sit there so smug, I could lunge through this computer! The audacity of these two unhinged women is staggering
🎯
After seeing the uncensored images of that poor little boy's wounds, I hope her cellmates show her no mercy. It was way more awful than I anticipated. Ruby and Jodi need to be locked away from society as long as possible.
Agreed
@@400_billion_suns where did you see them
Agreed!
Same😢
I feel the same, such a horrible person has these beautiful children and treats them so horribly. I’m 52 and have no children, I just can’t fathom the cruelty she delved out and allowed by Jody.
Yes 😢
Exactly! I imagine the woman who was also a nanny when she killed & dumped TWO newborn infants tied within garbage bags (circa 1991, then ‘93)-then went on to give birth to twin boys and a daughter with the same man after finally marrying him-probably infuriates you BIG time. 😡 *Gail Eastwood Ritchey* is quite an evil woman.
Well said 😢
i love the way that officer was talking to E. The way he was telling her who he was and saying her feelings were valid, and just talking to her so calmly. that officer deserves a raise!!!
My heart is breaking for these children. I’m so proud of the 12-year-old boy finding the courage to flee and find help for himself and his sister.
Major admiration for the officers & EMT who compassionately interacted with the youngest daughter, ever so patiently for nearly 4 hours. That's pretty unheard of. This was handled exceedingly well and should be used as training footage for officers all over the US.
The gall to sit there in silence when being questioned.. like she's conditioned those poor kids to do.
Power
This video needs to be shown to the parole board in four years. If her children attend - if the parole board wants their input. I hope they show her the same mercy she showed them.
Usually if the victims show up to those hearings they are denied… let us all pray she is never granted parole and has to serve her full sentence…
Russell was very brave to approach a stranger given the harm he had endured
What’s even sadder is that he probably realizes that strangers care more than his own parents.
I started crying when that little girl started eating the pizza. It was like she had to think about it for a long time probably because she'd been told so many times that she doesn't deserve it, or would get in trouble for eating. So sad.
Extremely heart breaking... i have 2 girls ages 8 and 3 i can't imagine ever having my kids go hungry! poor children
Right. It almost reminded me of those videos of abused dogs being rescued. She was behaving just like those beaten down dogs in those rescue videos. Even in those videos, when the dogs are given food, regardless how hungry they are they'll just stare at the food for a while thinking its a trap or something before finally eating.
My siblings and I were similar for some reason acknowledging that level of hunger feels embarrassing
I was honestly shouting at the screen with pride when she touched it
Thank you officers and emergency staff for your gentle, merciful hearts to the children you serve😭😭😭😭😭
I am GLAD that the man spoke (911 call) in front of the little boy. He is listening and getting validated. "-third-person. Powerful.
A woman who is that much in control of herself knows exactly how abusive she was to her children.
