Police ultimately determined that there were more than 100 grams of methamphetamine in the bag. Prosecutors also said they found text messages showing that Long was dealing drugs from her home while her son was present. Kendra Long was arrested for drug trafficking and child abuse. She posted $25,000 on the day of her arrest, according to court records. She later violated a family court order and other rules specified as a condition of her release, prosecutors said. Despite those violations she received no prison time and was sentenced to probation, which prosecutors said she violated. She was also sent to an in-patient drug treatment program.

Yeah it does seem like a set up. In some countries drugs are legal. So if you lived there then authorities would look at the living conditions in the home and look at the health of the child. I don't know what would happen.
Strongly disagree on it being a set up. Lot of functional alcoholics, drug addicts, etc. Clearly could afford a cleaner and had contact with his non-abusive (presumably) father. I knew two methheads as a child who had very put together homes, were clean- except for the permeating meth smell, of course. Not all abuse looks the same.

He asked her AFTER she suggested she needing an attorney at 11:28 so it's posable the results would be inadmissible along with anything she said after that point. The problem with her taking a urine test is pass or fail, it will not help her. Even IF she pees clean, she could still be dealing and they will still charge her for possession. Any cooperation with the police will never help anyone; but the police. I think the cop did bad investigation. He's a defense attorney's dream, and no one wants to see a criminal go free on a technicality.
Don’t assume that someone is guilty because they get a lawyer before talking to police or because of something like she did in this video. Smart people get a lawyer, not just guilty people. She was going to get arrested either way that night. They were going to charge her regardless of passing or failing that test.

Nothing that kid did was courageous. Although his mom is horrible, the dad is actively scaring his son by instructing and aiding in having his mom arrested and having to see it. Sad situation.
I used to do drugs when I was younger. When my patents found out they wanted me to take a urine test. I kept refusing saying "you have no right blah blah blah" "this isn't fair blah blah blah" "I didn't do anything to make you suspicious blah blah blah". All the things people who have drugs in their system say to try and get out of being caught. So its obvious, from experience, that she is refusing because she knows she will have hot urine.

@emmy6843 I kinda find it funny that the child went exactly to her room went under the night stand and found it the dad kinda looks like the type that would set something up like that idk and y would she be at the door and not ask her son what did you just give the cops

The fact the mom refuses a drug test speaks volume... and destroys her claim that the drug was set by her ex-husband.
