Well, damn. As a non-drummer, that software looks brilliant for writing. That humanizer loosening up the groove and not having everything so quantized is just sublime.
EZ Drummer is a life saver for me. Ever since I had an issue with my tendons in my hand, playing real drums is so uncomfortable. This software keeps me drumming with my mouse.
Thats Awsome..I've been playing guitar for 40 years, and band mates have soured me to being in bands anymore..this is a Godsend..Now I want to write music again.
I played around with the first ever ezDrummer about 15 years ago and it blew my mind! It has come a long way since then, using ML to even further improve the sound is awesome! Love it!
I have ezdrummer3 and superior drummer 3. Love the software. Makes getting a clean beautiful sound so easy and no matter what genre you're playing there are samples that got you covered
EZ drummer definitely seems to be more user friendly than GGD. I love how everything is labeled! In GGD you have to spend so much time going through and finding which beat you want.
GGD has gotten much more user friendly over time. Also, as a drummer, I don't find most of these EZDrummer features as something I'm personally looking for--I just want the best sounding samples as easily as possible. That being said, this could be a great choice for a non-drummer and that's really cool.
I'm not someone that plays drums so I'm always using pre made grooves. With the new groove customization it allows you to make the beat your own which is a game changer for getting the sound in your head into the program. I have GGD though the new samples in EZD3 along with the new expansion packs I got from Toontrack is more then what I need.
I recently bought Sleven Slate Drums SDD5.5 which is also pretty epic! Loving it. Might check out the Ez Drummer as well. Can never have enough sounds!!!
I have it too, but I’m using it on my Alesis kit with a dm10 module. Ssd seems to have trouble with the hi hat triggering. I can’t get accurate open and close sounds from it. Anyone else have that issue? That’s why I’m looking into ed3.
@@drumsonly44 yes, but is twice as much too. Lol. I still don’t use my e kit enough to justify it. And I don’t run triggers on my acoustic kit. Maybe if I combine them I. This was a great tutorial/showcase video of ezDrummer 3. Shows pretty much every important feature of the program decently fast and not an hour long video where I feel like "yes, I got it, move on already" :)
Christ. I’ve been using EZ2 forever and even customized Reaper to mirror that Cubase-style drum editor. It’s like they paid attention to every little thing that bugged me about the existing software and fixed them all with this new version
I've seen a couple of videos about EZDrummer 3, but this! A very comprehensive walkthrough of a lot of so many great functions in less than 20 minutes. This sold it to me. I'll get my upgrade från EZD 2.
Im working with Ez Drummer 3 since it came out out at the begining of may and its incredible! Love the Grid Editor and the drums are sounding so real! Im excited for the future EZXs! Did also some videos about it!
I think there's a lot that can be done with the humanizer filter. It would be really cool to be able to download your favorite drummer's humanizer settings. Imagine being able to have Mike Portnoy play on my shitter bedroom metal?
Wow pretty wild stuff, and that humanize setting blew my mind, especially how weird perfect drums actually sounded lol Dang, all of this program, and the E kit settings are so freaking cool!
I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I’d love to see a video of all your ezdrummer 3 kits, settings, mixer volumes etc… I think it would help a lot of people like myself who are new to this get started with figuring all this out
Best review/overview of this program I’ve seen! All the others are wayyyy too in depth and assume that you’re already familiar with the software. Thanks man! Ima buy this now.
I have become addicted. I am not really not interested in these softwareproducts, but just the presentation, Samus, and this video is so god damn god , and enjoyable to Watch, so I watched it just because of that. The closest a computer comes to my drumkit is when I have my IPhone by my side when I Practice. Rush should have made me a song….Analog Man😅 Yaoza Yaoza
I've been loving EZdrummer for a few years now...but somehow I didn't know 3 was released...I don't really need it yet but I'll get it eventually I'm sure...best software imo
I’ve had this program for like four years and didn’t even know half of this stuff. Also, I’ve never laughed so hard at a review/tutorial. You fucking RULE!!!!!!
You have a very positive energy. Can understand why you have half a million subs (Aside from bad ass drumming skillz obviously). Great showcase for this VST, easy grab.
Dude I just purchased EZ drummer 3! This is amazing and your video is amazing and you are amazing! And yes you do look like drummer Jesus!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn man they killed it in this version, I allmost baught the bundle from ez2 a few months back but THANK GOD I ran out of money for toys 😀 this is mind blowing
DUDE! I've been using EZDrummer 2 for probably 6 years and these updates are going to be MASSIVE for me. Making custom beats for chaotic thrash and metal is going to be so much easier now. Fucking Stoked!
At this point, I'm wondering if I should keep SD3 or sell it and get this one which is way cheaper... To me it's not as complete in terms of sample but oh boy for that price it's pretty interesting.
Geeze - Loving your channel man... So I'm just sort of getting into the E-Drum thing after buying an E-Drum kit from one of the lower down brands. BUT! I'm now considering doing an A2E conversion on an acoustic kit that I own but wondered about the direction I should take and by that I mean do I just do away with my (cheap) module and go EZdrummer 3 with a DDrum Trigger Interface instead. Us drummers are assholes huh

Thanks for showing me this program. I wasnt a drummer yesterday, today I released my first full album starring me on every instrument.
I find the Tight Room kit has a bit of a 70’s sound. The kick drum and snare have that groovy vibe of the 1970’s which is pretty cool.

WHY? SUPERIOR DRUMMER WAS OUT FIRST AND MUCH LONGER and much better and by the same company
I've been using this for three weeks, LOVE IT! makes editing much easier, and is worth it.
I'm starting to learn and use drumming software and this just open up a whole new world for me. Thanks for this video dude very sick 👌 👏
