Caleb, maybe in addition to the Hammer Financial Score, you should also give a Risk Of Homelessness score. Like who is going to rent to someone with a 400 credit score and utilities in collections? There’s a lot of folks on your show that are a few more bad decisions away from living on the streets 😢

@@Nat-hu4gqyup. My uncle (marriage, not blood) was worth hundreds of millions through his dad giving him the leg up.
They lived in like a 3 bedroom house and had "nice" cars but they were like 1980s BMW/Mercedes in the early 2000s 😂
He's since passed and that whole side of the family I guess bought a beach house, but I guess it's open to extended family AND the further you go down the line the more likely the next generation is to f*ck everything up.
It was just interesting watching my uncle. Also, generational wealth is a half myth when you look at the stats of family fortunes

I came from a consumer household. My mom always having Amazon deliveries and she was purchasing even more when she got her motorcycle. She did instill the same values onto me and things were “I’ll just put it on my CC and pay it whenever” for a while. And when I got in over my head by maxing out my credit card at 5k at 21yo she just said “welcome to the real world.” I realized she had no money, at 53yo and had a mortgage, rusting out car, a 25k motorcycle, and credit cards up the yaza. She then didn’t have money for a roof replacement so I lent her 1500 and I was broke. Thats when I learned that I can’t get stuck like that. My mom was relying off my sister and I to house her when she gets old. She has no retirement, only 45k that lost 15k during covid and hasn’t recovered. As far as she and my sister know, I’m a broke 26yo. I’m too paranoid to have them know how much I make.
