- Wow finally a run where he didn't just chain cast Radagon rings of light and frame trap me when I try to roll behind him. This guy unironically can have over 20 projectiles on screen at once. I actually had to be almost completely sober for this one.
The hit I take is so stupid too. Also, correction. This is the worst boss of the run, so far.

This is from my infamous "Suck it Anderson" Elden Ring challenge run. I always nickname runs so they aren't such a mouthful, but basically it's a Zweihander only, RL1+0 build. The point of this run is for me to have fun mastering the bosses while showing that anyone with two eyeballs and a heartbeat can learn the bosses, and to show that colossal weapons are better now than they have ever been. The posture system is a better incentive to playing aggressive than the rally system ever was tbh.

I kinda had this weird idea about this being a rave cuz after the 60th time running into his boss room only to have my screen immediately flooded with dozens of technicolor particle effects I felt like I was tripping on acid at Tomorrowland
I find it funny that Gideon has the same amount of health as Godrick. I don't know how many points he had to put into vigor to get 6000 health but it sure is annoying at low levels.

Everyone says Gideon is easy, but when I fought him, he was so frustrating that I summoned. Which I didn't do for any other endgame boss and not even for Malenia.
I think if you script kill or stun lock it’s easy but if you fight him legit it’s harder than any other boss to not get hit
I summoned for him too . He took me about an hour (thank rng for that he only did the rings like once) and i to this day think that giddeon is the worst boss in all of souls
Maliketh? First try. Godfrey? First try. Radagon? Also first try. Gideon? A coin flip. That basterd either dies in first try or destroys me in seconds. Such a wild ride.

@@loopine the worst part is that he still has access to rings of light when he equips the hammer . i mean technically the bonk from the hammer is 28 frames so very reactable but come on i don't wanna fucking learn this cheesy bastard

Worst boss in the game imo. But I really like him as a character! There's a neat interview here on youtube with his voice actor. People though he was Sean Bean based on its voice.
God, Fias Chumpions are soooooo infuriating. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the unnamed Champions use actual player kits and stuff right? I have run into far too many "meta" builds for it not to.
Yea if you play online they do player builds like with Jar warriors

@@loopine pretty much undodgable to my knowledge unless you can do some crazy specific dodge . i would think it's ok cuz you can stagger him out of literally everything but that means he needs to let you be close
