I totally agree with the talent doesn't make the final cut in the end of it all... I have talent but I hate to practice... I can't play like that now but if I practiced... who knows what i could do?
She went from the guitar being bigger than her to being bigger than the guitar. Just one of: ua-cam.com/video/iwoVfWTo2nU/v-deo.html She left UA-cam because of comments her videos were fake, it is claimed. Someone decided to play this recording through a guitar game Hero. The idea is to play the notes presented in the game at the proper time. A lightening strike means a miss, colour means a hit. I counted 12 misses, possibly a variation in the score. This is testimony to her timing and accuracy. To be clear, she is playing independently to the game's tempo. ua-cam.com/video/xB9l4U2D1rc/v-deo.html

Exactly. Hard work alone does not guarantee a virtuoso - that needs unimaginably immense amount of work over many years with an equal level of required natural talent.
Well sometimes hard work can't get you this Far if you don't have the talent. There are tons of guitarist who must have played and practiced a lot more than Tina but are no where hear her level. Not taking away her hardwork and the years of practice but how often do you see a 17 year old playing like that. Her talent is definitely one of a kind

Is it even possible to play the third movement on a guitar, going note for note with the original score for the piano? I don't think you can replicate every bit of it on a guitar, and I feel like I noticed certain left hand rhythmic sections that went missing in the translation from a piano to a guitar score. Like it's a limitation of the instrument itself. There's a few places in the original score where I think you play four simultaneous notes across 3 octaves. A guitar only covers 3 octaves and I don't think it's possible without a another pair of hands, and maybe not even then. At least that was my experience trying to play stuff written for the piano on highland bagpipes, which are quite a bit more limited at just a single octave. It's been arranged for the guitar beautifully though.
It is virtually impossible to explain how difficult the hammer-ons and pull-offs are to execute in this song. The tapping demands perfect timing to complete. If she misses one tap in the long run, it is extremely difficult to get the notes to ring out again. Amazing!!

Hello, Chaps. I found this on UA-cam a few years back. Never get tired of it. Amazing the stuff you can find on here that is not in the mainstream. Tina S is right up there. She has not posted for a long while so who knows whats happened, but talent like this needs a public. And you`re spot on about BGT compared to proper genius.
Sadly this was the last performance she ever posted online, she got sick and tired of trolls constantly attacking her for looking bored all the time. Maybe one day she'll return because she's certainly gifted..... You three also fell into the trap of criticising how she looked, confirming her irritation at how people wrongly judge her, She always claimed that she's in a zone remembering every note she's about to play.
I do agree that she shouldn't be judged on how she looks at anytime and judged purely on her talent, ability, and work ethic to play something so brilliant. That being said, if she puts herself out there in the public she should already know what comes along with that. If she is truly "sick and tired" of people saying that she looks bored then she might be in for a rough ride called life. I wish that was the worst thing people had to say about me. This is the most brilliant performance I have ever seen/heard by a woman or a man and she should be damn proud and not give a shit what us mortals think about whether or not she is looking bored during her performance.
This recent surge of reactions to Tina S reminds me of YT's suggestions column: there are always videos that say "recommended to you" and when you go and check them they're 10 years old.
She was 17 at the time. She is NOT bored. She is trained in classical guitar as well. She is mad focused. Look at classical musicians, they don't show emotions because they are super focused. This piece is super hard to play on a guitar. And she did it in one take. Do you have any idea how many notes are there in 3rd Movement of "Moonlight Sonata"? Look it up.
According to an interview, she treated these solos sort of like video games. It was muscle memory after so much practice. She started playing guitar when she was 6. Her instructor(I think her brother) was Renaud Louis-Servais. I hear rumors she is putting all that amazing focus into university(law?).
Beethoven was very controversial and "heavy" in his time. He basically put an end to classical era and lead music into more free formed passionate romanticism. He would have loved an electric guitar. Well, he loved fortepiano, and basically was the first one who started massively write pieces to it, cause it had MUCH heavier sound than clavier. Moonlight sonata was for piano too.
Great choice of piece to feature Gents! Tina S is amazing, I particularly like her rendition of Steve Vai's "For the Love of God" and Dave Gilmour's solo from Comfortably Numb :)
Watching her not only gives me hope. BUT TEARS TO MY EYES AS WE LOST EVH. MAYBE SHE CAN CARRY THE TORCH FOR US ALL. LOVE HER BLESS HER TALENT THAT THE WORLD HAS NOW SEEN.

Tina S. lives in France and has played guitar since she was small (6? I think?) When she hit 12 or 13 she switched from classical guitar to electric. In this video she is 17. She dropped out of social media soon after, and that was about 3 years ago. She has moved on to University; word is for a business degree. To play at this level, you have to practice 8 hrs a day for months to pull this off as flawlessly as she does. Most professional classical musicians do.
Tina is my favorite guitarist. She has been missing for a few years while she completes her education studies. Be sure to check out more of her covers!

@ Office Blokes... - it is not just talent but hard and persistent work. In addition to electric guitar and rock music, Tina has been constantly learning, practicing and playing classical guitar and classical music since she was 6 years old. The result is visible - absolutely fantastic, absolutely phenomenal!
giggles...Exceptional differences in someone professionally trained to be a "Master Guitarist" (who can play anything, note for note, tone for tone, consistently every time) und someone who has excelled in their music genre "only". She actually played many different parts of this composition...und did it superbly. :-) Beethoven was quite rebellious...I think he would have loved watching someone of this exceptional talent..."plug him in". :-)

Guy's, you should react to her cover of Steve Vai's "For the Love Of God" she absolutely nails it! Tina is so good Steve Vai personally contacted her and paid her a huge compliment telling her she nailed it.
Tina S is from Paris Fr. Nobody can match her skill
She could give Stevie Ray Vaughn a run for best guitarist
TINA VON BOSNIEN
BEST GOD DAMMM GUITARIST IN THE GALAXY ❤️❤️❤️
Hello, Chaps. I found this on UA-cam a few years back. Never get tired of it. Amazing the stuff you can find on here that is not in the mainstream. Tina S is right up there. She has not posted for a long while so who knows whats happened, but talent like this needs a public. And you`re spot on about BGT compared to proper genius.
Sadly this was the last performance she ever posted online, she got sick and tired of trolls constantly attacking her for looking bored all the time. Maybe one day she'll return because she's certainly gifted..... You three also fell into the trap of criticising how she looked, confirming her irritation at how people wrongly judge her, She always claimed that she's in a zone remembering every note she's about to play.
her solo cover from comfortably numb was one of the best ive seen.
Exactly!
@@brianobrian9334 it's actually mine, but it's not pushed by simps bcos I'm not a woman
the simpin here 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
the brain to the ears to the fingers are unreal she makes it look so easy , she is part of that guitar
it would have been awesome if after she finished the 3rd movement she would have said "anyway heres wonderwall"
You forgot to say that she was 17 in that video, I believe it's an important detail.
A lot of professionals that play for decades would not be able to play like that
Craziest thing is she was only 16 when she filmed this... I was barely able to walk and chew gum at 16 ^_^
simp
NO 17 y.o.
She was great at 6
*Correction 17.
This recent surge of reactions to Tina S reminds me of YT's suggestions column: there are always videos that say "recommended to you" and when you go and check them they're 10 years old.
been watching her stuff for about 6 years , i played guitar in heavy metal bands , and she's amazing
I think she the most talented human living on this planet right now.
and to memorize more than 6 mins of muzik is another amazing thing too... she has a great gift ...
None none
Sorry! What are you talking about? I must have imagined it when i saw Iron Maiden and Gun's n' Roses play 2 hour sets! LOL
Look it up.
I love how she just slings her arm over the neck of the guitar at thee end as if to say "and that's how ya do that"
She was 17yrs old there
According to an interview, she treated these solos sort of like video games. It was muscle memory after so much practice. She started playing guitar when she was 6. Her instructor(I think her brother) was Renaud Louis-Servais. I hear rumors she is putting all that amazing focus into university(law?).
Renaud Louis-Servais is not her brother.
She is not bored. She is totally focused!
that moment someone's hand has an after image, almost 3 to be exact, you know they are of godlike skill
I love the take on what you see on Britain's Got Talent- "Some knob walking a dog through hoops."
hey! it took me a long time you train that fucking dog and then the bastard thing died!
Rumour is that Tina has stopped playing to concentrate on her studies. I'm hopping for a comeback!
When she was 6 and 14, she was also focused on her studies! And then there are the 3 months of holidays !
Great choice of piece to feature Gents! Tina S is amazing, I particularly like her rendition of Steve Vai's "For the Love of God" and Dave Gilmour's solo from Comfortably Numb :)
That`s not "only" talent, insane talent, it is also thousands upon thousands of hours of practicing.
Watching her not only gives me hope. BUT TEARS TO MY EYES AS WE LOST EVH. MAYBE SHE CAN CARRY THE TORCH FOR US ALL. LOVE HER BLESS HER TALENT THAT THE WORLD HAS NOW SEEN.
Ladies week: BAND-MAID, 5 young ladies from Japan. Not only the best all female band but probably the best live hard-rock/metal band on the planet right now - period. There are plenty of live videos on their official channel (I'd recommend "Real Existence" or "Play"). You will not regret it. Promised. Please. Thank you. Keep up the reactions. Like your open-mindedness.

Tina S. lives in France and has played guitar since she was small (6? I think?) When she hit 12 or 13 she switched from classical guitar to electric.
In this video she is 17. She dropped out of social media soon after, and that was about 3 years ago.
She has moved on to University; word is for a business degree.
To play at this level, you have to practice 8 hrs a day for months to pull this off as flawlessly as she does. Most professional classical musicians do.
Well, perhaps stating the obvious, Tina is French.
She did Not miss a single note 🤯💯
Tina is my favorite guitarist. She has been missing for a few years while she completes her education studies. Be sure to check out more of her covers!
IIRC she had been playing for ~10 years already when that was made. Incredibly talented and practiced.
I like the part where she's playing left-hand pizzicato while simultaneously her right hand is moving up the fingerboard doing Things Guitar Players Don't Normally Do.
This is one of piano's hardest songs to play......and she did it with an electric guitar. I dare anyone in the world to do what Tina S. just did.
Talent,practice...call it whatever you want...She's a Gods gift. The Office Blokes are right, these "talent"shows doesn't even deserve a talent as she is.
Dedication and practice = Mesmerizing.
I've heard several different pieces of Classical music played on the Electric Guitar and they are all among the best Guitar music I've ever heard. I would love an "Electric Symphony/Orchestra" where the entire concert is done like this. No singing required.
@ Office Blokes... - it is not just talent but hard and persistent work. In addition to electric guitar and rock music, Tina has been constantly learning, practicing and playing classical guitar and classical music since she was 6 years old. The result is visible - absolutely fantastic, absolutely phenomenal!
You can see just from her eyes she's putting everything in to it
Tina interview : "Even if on my videos I seem, as many say, to be bored, it's quite the opposite. I am super focused, deeply into the solo!"
Proof positive that alot of these early composers...if alive today....would be metalheads.
giggles...Exceptional differences in someone professionally trained to be a "Master Guitarist"
(who can play anything, note for note, tone for tone, consistently every time) und someone
who has excelled in their music genre "only". She actually played many different parts of this
composition...und did it superbly. :-) Beethoven was quite rebellious...I think he would have
loved watching someone of this exceptional talent..."plug him in". :-)
She's playing a classical masterpiece holding the guitar in classical mode. But you knew that right?😉
Hey, you should definitely check out nightwish symphonic metal band from Finland with new singer Floor Jansen wacken live show 2013 any song is awesome 😎
agreed, add the songs , Shoemaker and The greatest show on earth !! not to forget a band live as good as in the studio!
Agreed, but start with Ghost Love Score live from Wacken 2013
Nightwish, this is only Tarja Turunen! Other singers are not comparable.
@András Ács As you say, it's a matter of taste 😉. But it's true that I've been listening Nightwish since the release of their first album, and this must have something to do with my preference.
@@Bruno-B agreed. Floor sucks
TINA SETKIC FILMED AT 17 y.o. BY HER PROFESSOR Renaud LOUIS-SERVAIS, in 2016 near Paris in France.
There's a 'Guitar Hero' side by side version of this. Worth a look.
Remember this, Beethoven (in the opinion of many - me included) is the first ever Metalhead!
He would have no problem at all listening to this!
And i´m not just saying this because i´m German! ;)
Also you have to see that Tina was 16 or 17 when she recorded that!
That is massive talent!
She started to practice when she was 6 yo. It's talent but it's talent that has been grown for over 10 years.
She makes that guitar talk!!
She has arrived to show " Perfection of Musical Performance", she's from space!!!
Never seen something this perfect.
Oooh, I miss Tina S :(
amen to that!
What happened to her?! 😨
@@BronzDano I don't really know tbh. All I know is that some say that she has distanced herself from UA-cam (and social media?) because of the negativity in the internet. But this was years ago and I don't know if that's the real reason. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. One day she stopped to upload new videos. I'm still hoping for a comeback!
stop simpin
@@reality8o im pretty sure she / they made a statement, that she will be gone (distancing from youtube) while she attends college, and she will come back after it, so she can completely focus to that!
TINA has always had that focus and that face when she plays guitar, watch her videos when she was 8 !!!
Her brother SACHA is the same on the guitar.
Tina nails anything she plays , played watch her Yngwie covers Yngwie actually said that Arpeggios From Hell is one of the most insane stuff he came up with and she played it without giving a single shit. Respect.
When you slow her Eruption video (extended cut) down to 0.75x, it's like a love song.
I put her channel on in the background when I'm home cooking and cleaning- helps relieve that tedious flng of daily chores like I'm a kid in the 80s again.
She's AMAZING btw! WOOOW!!
no reaction on jason becker altitudes? guys u ll be blown away... from the melody and execution. have a look! By TinaS ofc.
After I first saw this, I burned my guitar and crossed state lines to bury the ashes.
I watched this video on her own channel. Then after that i watched " Reaction Videos". And your description is by far the best reaction ever. You said she looked bored. I said that the first time seeing it. And the description of BGT. " Never watched it". Was spot on. Bag of shite.
A French guitar. Her first personal electric guitar bought in 2013 in Paris. A Vigier Excalibur Custom
Tina S is French BTW.
Literally nobody asked
