This girl is my favorite guitarist. She posted these videos when she was in high school. She stopped posting while she attended university but now she's back, with her own band. Her return to YT was posted about one week ago. We will be hearing new music from Tina soon. I can't wait! Thanks for the review.
What is extraordinary, is that every comment I can read about Tina, recommends a different cover each time. This confirms that every piece she plays is an absolutely magical cover. Tina is magical!
I must have watched this amazing performance about 30 times and I am still mesmerised. The power that this teenage girl casually delivers is incredible. Yes there are other talented guitar players who can play this piece but, Tina is one step above , she has been studying classical guitar from an early age. Everything is perfect, economy of movement, huge violinist vibrato…..
Tina's BACK and I hope her stuff is just as INSANE as it was back then! She looks quite a bit different but we can bet shes as awesome as ever but now she's standing up in a band so that WILL affect her play. WELCOME BACK TINA THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
for people who dont play and do not know how hard it is to play at this level for 6 miniutes without a break.. move or tap your fingers as fast as she dose for 6 minutes and see houch cramp you get in your fingers and arms.... the stamina she has is amazing.
Yall have to love her smile at the end of the video . She like that was cool and I Nailed it so let's try something more changeling . She incredible gifted person.
Yep just about everybody can practice their entire lives and still wouldn't come even remotely close to how good this girl really is. She's definitely a prodigy and absolutely one of the best guitar players that ever lived.
Great 👌👍 with your reaction to The One And Only Tina S playing Moonlight Sonata . She is Simply a fantastic guitarist and the next one from her Through The Fire and Flames From Dragon Force There's a video from a member of the band he was blown away by it.
well, she is the best, possibly the g.o.a.t. imho :) you have 3 more must see epic performances from her to check out her ‚big four‘. Dragonforce through the fire and flames at age 15 and chilling, and the much more emotional pieces Steve Vai for the love of god and Jason Becker altitudes. Masterpieces. She did some of the most famous solos from others like Van Halen eruption, Pink Floyd comfortably numb, Megadeath tornado of souls, Metallica Master of puppets, Iron Maiden the trooper and Malmsteen arpeggios from hell. Some are rather short though and were completely effortless for her to play. Gary Moore the Loner is longer and very nice too.
As I recall Tina quit publishing vids after this one...there was talk about cyber-bullying and crap like that and she decided she'd had enough. I think she was 16 or 17 here...she is French and the word was that she went to University and now has a whole new life. She started playing when she was 5 or 6...its a shame that she quit videos...she was phenomenal. A lot of commentors react to her not showing any emotion when she plays...I like it! She lets her fingers do the talking.
Years she worked on that. Raw talent will only get you so far. This chick is TRAINED! Long and Hard, eat and breathed trained. Respect to the effort and sacrifice to do that... Not natural and raw. She wanted it and worked her ass off for it. I hope she starts posting again one day.

Love reacting to people who know the tune, note for note, accurately exactly how it's supposed to sound like, different styles but generally the same. Nice hearing your reactions, and as a musician myself, it's really nice to see and hear what and how you're talking. Enjoy your reaction.
What makes this _extra_ special is that Tina has turned this wonderful Beethoven piece into a shredding solo that _rocks_ , it's not just playing all the notes really fast, it's a head-banger. Beethoven would have loved it!
Fantastic player, fantastic guitar, good teacher Renaud Louis-Servais. What less would you expect? 22 years ago i was in Poland and taking coffee in some place. This arrangement was created by Italian metal guitarist Michele Vioni (Dr. Viossy). He offers the backing track (drums, secondary guitar etc) for sale. So apparently Tina got the track and she and her teacher worked at duplicating Viossy's arrangement. There's a YT split-screen vid of their performances side by side, with the audio in the left and right channels, and if you listen on headphones her copy of the arrangement is so perfect that almost every note sounds centered. She is not only on a par with all of the greatest players this planet has ever seen she's probably ahead of them. Welcome to the world of Tina S. 17 in this video...Tina studied classical guitar from 6-13 when she switched to electric guitar under the tutelage of Renaud Louis-Servais a well known French guitarist/instructor. At the age of 14 they started releasing her covers of some of the more difficult guitar solo/pieces with Renaud handling the filming. After this video Tina disappeared from the internet and social media. The most accepted theory is that she went to college but no one knows for sure. This cover and her cover of Through the Fire and Flames get the most attention, but my favorites are For the Love of God, Altitudes, and The Loner. Not only are they technically challenging, but they also require touch/feel to get right. If you want to see/hear a demonstration of what it means to make a guitar "sing", watch For The Love of God.
Tina 's school : Télécom SudParis is a major engineering, research and innovation school in information and communication science and technology. 30 km south Paris, in EVRY were she was born.
A professional British guitarist, who also reacted to this, said that it took him two weeks to master the first 12 seconds of this sonata, but he wasn't practicing 24/7. Tina left UA-cam in 2016 & this was her last video back them. Already by that year, she had been voted the best guitarist on UA-cam for three years in a row. During her break she studied at a prestigious French engineering school. This year she came back & has released two new UA-cam videos of songs by her own band "Spin Twice".
fun fact, Tina G (Guo) is a cellist who often plays metal, but also many many original soundtrack songs. She is the one who plays Wonder woman and in Dune etc. Seen her with Hans Zimmer. Absolutely amazing artist
😂 I've seen that face before! The one the two of you made when she started this. Now I've heard and seen some if the greatest guitarists over the last 5+ decades. Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Brian May, Carlos Santana, Neal Schon to name some, this is mind blowing 🤯.
There was a piano concertist who reacted to it and she confirmed Tina did not miss or forget a single note 😂 Kudo to Dr Viossy also for the translation he made for electric guitar
Tina S's band, SPIN TWICE no longer exists ! Since June 2023 Tina has no longer produced anything, only 3 songs with the group Spin Twice. The singer and the musicians left. Singer Thomas Smagghe returned to his old band CHASING DAISY, without Tina S, and released a new song and video on UA-cam : CHEWBACCA.
She is playing in a band named Spin Twice. And you will not regonice her. Heavy music, tatoos, blond short hair. One song is named 'what's wrong with me'. The other is named 'Gravity'
Love all Tina's covers. You may have reacted to Deep Purple before and their live version of Deep Purple - "Highway Star" is an awesome 60'-70's band. Blows your mind how they kill it. Thx guys
Well since you did Tina, a prodigy BOSS, you need to do JUNNA, a Japanese drummer who is absoutely mind blowing. Watch her cover of Dragonforce's....Through the Fire and Flames.....and if you don't have a huge smile on your face the whole time then something is wrong with you. I don't know which is more impressive, her skill or her sheer passion while playing.
I would suggest you watch/react to a group called Sinfonity and their rendition of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. Sinfonity is from Spain and is the world's first all-guitar orchestra. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor is by far my favorite piece of music to be played on a pipe organ. Sinfonity does it justice.
One commenter on somebody's reaction channel said that they worked out the math on this. Tina averages 7.09 notes per second for 6 minutes = roughly 2,552 notes. Just insane. Another commenter said they couldn't even the wrong notes that fast.
Some commenters that know the piece very well stated that she did not miss a single note that they could detect. This girl's Soul is not from this planet.
Renaud Louis-Servais, her teacher at this times (and the one who makes the videos as well) has recently comment on another react video, about how long she had worked on this Moonlight Sonata. He didn't remember exactly if it was.... two or three months..... insane.... 😮 😂 I tried to play the first 5 seconds with the same guitar she has in this video, the same amp and pedals that her teacher was using to record this at that time. Strangely it didn't sound even a little bit like her! 😅😂
You guys need to check out the Warning, three sisters from Monterey Mexico, then and now with enter sandman. It is a wonderful the transformation over the years. Three sisters, the first video is Dani on guitar, `12 yo, Pau on drums, 10 yo. and Ale on bass, 9 yo. Will blow you away.
I discovered Tina S. in 2016, about the time that she stopped posting. Word is that she now has her own band. I'm anticipating a new YT posting sometime this year.

Tina got sick and tired of being bullied on UA-cam bike gelous male guitar players, The bullying got real bad and it's a shame because she is a gift from God
HAHAHAHA you don't know Tina's character at all ! SHE DON'T CARE ! Tina S interview: "The comments of the jealous and the haters and trolls do not interest me, I don't care, they do not know the music and the guitar, they are unknows. That's Internet. It is only the reactions of the professionals that interest me, and I thank Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Dragonforce, Dream Theater, Jason Becker, Steve Vai for their congratulatory tweets!"
Time and again I see people talk about how metal and classical music intersect .. aka .. Symphonic Metal ... Nightwish, Epica .. me .. I think that if Beethoven had access to electrical guitars we would see .. marvelous things ..
Tina is one of those artists that you may have the privilege of hearing/seeing once in a lifetime. A prodigy for sure and a girl who may not even realize what a talent she is. Too bad she got burned out so early. UA-cam critics can be cruel at times. Cruel comments may have prompted her to leave UA-cam. As for me, I feel blessed just having been exposed to her covers of songs. Wonderful girl and I sure wish the best for her in the future. That little smile she flashes at the end, is like her stating: "Yeah, I just did that".
"Cruel comments may have prompted her to leave UA-cam." HAHAHA LOL ! Tina quit putting out videos when she enrolled in college a few years ago. I watched a music teacher react to this one. He said just 6 seconds of this piece would take 10's of hours to master. I think she has put out a few videos recently...
She was awesome, just magic fingers in someone so young. Try her cover of Steve Vai's classic For The Love of God. Her treatment has to be seen and heard for the striking take it is. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎶
Since you guys are getting into this type of thing, Check out Glen Campbell plays the William Tell Overture-acoustic. There is an electric one also but the acoustic is cooler-IMO. Acoustic guitar is harder to play like he does because of the strings.
Except that great kat is not the same type of translation: here it is a quasi note per note translation and it was done by Dr Viossy just before Tina covered it.
Forgive me if someone already mentioned it, but Moonlight Sonata has 3 movements (sections). The third movement is the most difficult and complex of the three sections.

Herman li I've DragonForce reacted to Tina out his channel I said she played the best cover to the song"through the fire and flames"he was so impressed by her that he tried to contact her to play with the band. She was 15 years old then
He didn't search much ! Tina is in the phone book with her address and her 2 phone numbers !
And she was playing both guitarists tracks combined (Herman’s and Sam’s tracks) lol
I think it took a year for her to get this done, 20,000 movements in 6 minutes. Insanity
💯
Obrigatory! :) Tina S > "For The LOve of God" (Steave Vai)
She is 16 going in 17 Here. from France
17 and 4 months here, in August 2016
Tina got sick and tired of being bullied on UA-cam bike gelous male guitar players, The bullying got real bad and it's a shame because she is a gift from God
HAHAHAHA you don't know Tina's character at all ! SHE DON'T CARE !
Tina S interview:
"The comments of the jealous and the haters and trolls do not interest me, I don't care, they do not know the music and the guitar, they are unknows. That's Internet.
It is only the reactions of the professionals that interest me, and I thank Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Dragonforce, Dream Theater, Jason Becker, Steve Vai for their congratulatory tweets!"
TWO WOMEN IS OUTSTANDING AND THAT'S IS TINA S AND ANGELINA JORDAN 😂
Time and again I see people talk about how metal and classical music intersect .. aka .. Symphonic Metal ... Nightwish, Epica .. me .. I think that if Beethoven had access to electrical guitars we would see .. marvelous things ..
And she doesn't miss a note either.
Now y'all have just got to check out her cover of #ThroughTheFireAndFlames.

This was recorded 8 years ago when Tina was 15.
HAHAHAHA no !! she was 17 and 4 months in August 2016 !!
Her hands have to be so strong. That would be a very physical exercise to play over 7 notes per second for 6 minutes.
Recomend Tina's Cover - For The Love Of God (Steve Vai Cover) and Steve Vai - For The Love Of God
I would put her against anybody. Prodigy.
Out of SYNCH!!!!
Love ya'lls reaction to this; totally badazz rock song level. Suggestion for you to check out Tina's cover of Jason Becker's Altitudes
Not bad for a piece over 220 years old.
PLZ do more Tina S. .... PLZ do Tina S. - Dragon Force - Through the Fire and Flames Soooo good!!
Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎶
Yeah, you don't see that kind of talent in country music guys, right..?
Since you guys are getting into this type of thing, Check out Glen Campbell plays the William Tell Overture-acoustic. There is an electric one also but the acoustic is cooler-IMO. Acoustic guitar is harder to play like he does because of the strings.
She can tell Joe Satriani hold my beer!!
This GIRLia a PRODIGY ...checkout VIVALDI SHES INCREDIBLE
Everybody goes on about this. But in the 80's it was already done by the great kat.
Except that great kat is not the same type of translation: here it is a quasi note per note translation and it was done by Dr Viossy just before Tina covered it.
Looks like the God Himself took the form of that girl to make such an UNBELIEVABLE performance! Prove me wrong, please!😇
Forgive me if someone already mentioned it, but Moonlight Sonata has 3 movements (sections). The third movement is the most difficult and complex of the three sections.
The third movement is PRESTO AGITATO
@@0ParisFrance lol yeah, I just didn't think using musical notation would help them understand.
Hey, you should definitely check out Tina setkic dragon Force Through The Fire and The Flames cover at 15 years old awesome thanks 😊
You should watch her cover of "Through the fire and Flames" by Dragonforce, that will absolutely blow your mind.
For The Love Of God.
This was her last video. Some say she is going to university now. I don't know though
You Should Check Her Doing Through The Fire And Flames By Dragon Force
