Why is the Victor Titan cheek rest no longer on this rifle? I looked on the previous video, but didn't see the reason. Love this ammo comparison series! Thanks!
Nice shooting all round, thanksfor doing this extensive review. Question are the spread of each group measured centre to centre or outside to outside. Thanks, johnu
Nice groups! I just got sent a brick of that stuff from Jdelta22 to try in my 597. Hoping for some decent results. Hopefully more consistent than CCI Standard Velocity!
Thanks for the video. I shoot SK Standard Plus for practice only and getting similar results to you. I use SK Rifle Match for competition. What type of rail is that under your forend? I would love one of them on my MTR
@@PursuitofAccuracy No problem I can do that. Do I drill all the way through the stock until it comes out the other end or just drill into the stock only. Thanks
@@kal3934 so when you get the rail use your existing bipod stud as the 1st hole. Then mark locations for next two. You will want to drill a hole all the way through the size of the screw. On the barrel channel side you will want to drill a shallow hole the size of the nut. Its not terribly hard just make sure your drilling straight and check your locations etc several times before drilling
My results mirror your smallest group in my CZ 457 Varmint MTR. I wish I could find some for 6 per box - I’ve had to pay a lot more than that but it consistently outperforms Center-X, Midas+, X-Act & Tenex in my rifle. The Ruger prefers Center-X and R50
I have found that shooting off a bipod is not the best for shooting groups. I use a slightly modified Caldwell Rock BR along with a Protektor rear bag. 100 yds is the real test of accuracy. A windless day is a must for best groups. OTOH a friend of mine is the importer of Anschutz rifles and RWS ammo. His building has a 100 yd indoor range.
Can you do a video using any match ammo and maybe federal bulk high velocity out of the same gun. Just to show the difference of quality ammo. Please. Watching from Maine
@@PursuitofAccuracy i have same in my 22 which is not good for hunting where you only get 1 shot at a bird! 17 hmr does not seem to suffer cold bore as much for some reason?
Good day dude! I'm a filipino guy planning to swith from air rifles to 22lr rifle, here in our country not all quality imported 22 rifles and ammos are available in the market, Ruger 1022 and CZ 457 varmint are some you can get. I found CZ matches my need and planning to buy soon, may i asked you to make a video testing with Armscor 22lr ammo? If it is available there, imported ammos here is hard to find and cost a lot. Armscor firearms and ammos are locally made here aside from its cheap price. Thank you and more power.
Nice shooting. Just a thing i tried i got hold of a bore scope and found 22lrs have a buildup of carbon right were the bullet leaves the shell and it can be hard to remove. The barrel i clean maybe every 500 rounds but this build up can happen in 100 round and haven't had that much of a problem with cold bore shoots now in my cz lrp 😀
@@PursuitofAccuracy All good i was just saying it is something that i found with my 22lr lrp and i don't have that cold bore first shoot flyer anymore 🙂
my CZ 452 varmint even today 5 holes in 1.20 cm. with standard Sk with 28 ° temperature. It remains clear that the weapon has been accurate in all its parts, beding, trigger, pillar etc ... front support only at mt. 50 away.
Josh to prove I am on to something here try shooting these targets from right to left I think targets 5 4 and probably 3 will not be as good as 2 and 1 good shooting brother Beagleman
Am I first am I first on the comment like hahahhaha another great video , the sk line seams to run well in the mtr series of cz rifles . Thanks for the post brother
well sir now im in a holding pattern just purchased a titan for my MTR an dont have a clue about what you are talking about what happened ?watched your last episode didnt mention anything on the titan ...please let us know whats up dont want to drill two holes in my stock just to find out its not up to your standards an you have been using it for years...standing by for clarification Bill
The cheek riser is still on the mtr to this day. You can heat it with a heat gun and temporarily place it on the stock to see if you like it first. One size doesn't fit all in the world of firearms
I have a cz457 that will shoot 3/8 in groups at 50yrds with standard plus and two different cz457 that shoot the center x the best and I never have a cold bore shot out of these rifles and they all have the barrels that come on them match chamber and barrel. Beagleman
I think thats crazy to have to sort match ammo. Ive got unsorted ammo in my competition cz that shoots .1 and .2 I dont know who has the time for all that sorting and weighing lol

I moved to open class and wasnt using the factory stock anymore. The titan was on the mannners stock I was using in competition at this point
Nice shooting Josh
That's similar to my Schultz and Larson chamber, barrel etc. I had good luck with federal gold match. CCI standard did very well also.
Thanks for the great work you do. Love all the videos.
Thanks Jeff

Center to center
My MTR Manners shoots Lapua OSP and RWS R50, under .041 consistently, and off an Atlas bipod.
Thanks again Josh. More data to work with.
Awesome
Would love to see you do a review on the Lithgow 101 .22 if you can get your hands on one.
Its on the collection list, just got to find one first

Thats a 12" universal arca swiss rail from area 419.
@@PursuitofAccuracy Thanks Josh. I'm going to get one. I need to find a supplier in the UK. I need it badly. Is it easy to fit? Thanks

Nice. Well cant be mad about finding ammo that works really well and its affordable
I bought it today for 6.50€ per box in Slovakia 🇸🇰
Thank you.

Why NO Lefthanded MTR's CZ???

Will see what i have laying around for bulk ammo. But yeah i can definitely do that
I see you have the CZ first shot flyer issue like I’ve asked you about previously. SK ammo seems to do it the worst through my MTR.
The cold bore is pretty much with every rimfire and ammo i have shot
@@PursuitofAccuracy i have same in my 22 which is not good for hunting where you only get 1 shot at a bird! 17 hmr does not seem to suffer cold bore as much for some reason?
Probably has something to do with the residual wax/grease getting up to temp inside the barrel.

Yeah for the money its good stuff
Is the bipod as steady as a tripod rest? Good shooting BTW.
The bipod and rear bag setup is extremely stable
? Do you measure the rim thickness. Or just weigh the bullets. Nice shooting.
I open the box and load the mags. I dont do any sorting or weighing
