Great Rundown! The Damned Things was a great show in Nashville! I left the show late and saw Andy walking to the tour bus from a distance. He saw me and paused like a deer in the headlights. I just nodded my head and threw up some horns and he shared back and jumped on the bus. :D

I love Fall Out Boy, but the other bands seem to give Andy more room to show off his drumming skills. His style is noticeable in a Fall Out Boy song, but it definitely jumps out and punches you in the chest in a Racetraitor song

Andy has said before he intentionally strives to play more modestly in fall out boy because all good drummers are capable of that. He even mentioned in this interview some of the most simple playing is the best kind. Don’t forget, he also loves queen. And queen coined stadium/jock rock and fall out boy carried that torch. Roger Taylor definitely fits the “play what the song requires” type of drummer.

Cymbal OCD is real. All of my cymbals have to be 2" in between sizes. RN I have 14" hihats, 16" + 18" crashes, and a 20" crash ride. They all had to be Zildjian A series too, I hate mismatched cymbals

Not me, mine have to be the same size. My big kit has 4 19 crashes, 2 20 chinas, 2 21 rides and 15 hats. Must be the same size for looking good in photos
