Lars was my inspiration to start playing drums for my very first band and of course I didn’t have TAMA. I had a drum set and the company that made it was called. “crest” it was my dad’s and it was 25 years old and he played jazz on it and I was playing heavy metal and the set was so old that it actually had real skins on it . we quickly figured out that this old set was not made for heavy metal and the lead singer of the band who was about seven years older than the rest of us. He actually bought a TAMA set for me to use . He knew I wanted TAMA. That was the only drum set I ever looked at, and it was because of Lars.

First time I met him was Iceland 2004, I was 17 and he was like almost half a head taller than me. Last week I was probably 2 inches taller🥳 he is 168 or 170 cm tall. Between there. 5’6 - 5’7. You also shrink a bit when you age. But I don’t see him as short, maybe because I am too😂 But he stood among tall fans taking pic. You don’t think wow he is short. Because it’s not that short again.
