So i acutally pleged to the betrayal of the second era board game. and the last update was in earlier this may and they say development is complete and they are starting to print pre productions proofs to send to Bethesda they say their still on time. The pledge manager at gamefound is still open so if anyone wants to get a copy nows the time still a bit pricy coming at $195.
Also got the skyrim board game and not much new lore just a basic adventure after a boethiah cult which you learn little to nothing on and all the side quest are just the exact same skyrim side quest but summerize heavily to fit on cards. Also got the fallout board game too that ones good.
@@snowycityI don’t think Microsoft cares about clout or history at this point. They spent a lot of money on acquisitions and they’re only concern is making that money back, one way or another.
@Agent789_0 Oh surely in most cases but this is id software, as sad and ridiculous as it is, Tango wasn't exactly as known as id or Bethesda. Shutting those down would just straight up make their stock take a hit
There’s another, unofficial, Elder Scrolls TTRPG. It’s called UESTRPG and it’s more or less a one to one fan port of Elder Scrolls stuff into the latest D&D edition. As far as I’m aware, it too is also no longer being actively worked on (probably because of Hasbro being Hasbro). It’s mostly feature complete though.
I wish fallout had more content outside of the games, you'd think with a world so rich in history and lore we'd see more books and novels but no the closest thing we got was those one issue comics released before fallout 3 and nv.
Yeah, pretty sure a very similar video to this but for Fallout came out a week or so ago. Didn't watch it but I imagine it was mostly about the table top Fallout stuff and well the tv show now!
I remember that a few years ago I saw Elder Scrolls books in a local bookstore, but unfortunately I didn't buy them then and now I can't find them anywhere. Otherwise, great video and greetings from Serbia.
Not surprised that we will see table-top stuff from it since the original idea came from a homebrew(custom world and rules) table-top game. Or at Least sparked the initial concept.
@@snowycity Outside of Skyrim related stuff I feel like there isn't too much to get into. Elder Scrolls lore can be weird and unique and it just isn't used. I guess I'm mainly desperate for novels lol.

The elder scrolls are chim. You are nothing more than part of the Godhead of reality.
Nuh uh @@77wolfblade
I’m scared for the fact we could be in the timeline where Id software is shut down
I highly doubt that'll happen, feel like they have too much clout for something like that to happen y'know? But honestly who knows at this point

They're easy to find online and if you just wanna read em they are available in PDF form i believe!
And thank you!

If a video game RPG series is popular enough it will eventually get a table top version, it is the law
@@snowycity As of tradition just like the final fantasy series.
Elder Scrolls is in desperate need of expansion. I cant fathom why they refuse to have more novels made.
How is it in desperate need for expansion?
