Imagine a water magician doctor. A single urine sample and the doctor knows your whole life story, not just that you have diabetes like the puny doctors in real life.
Virgin Harry Potter: "You can't create food out of nothing!" Chad Elder Scrolls: "I have created an entire Plane of Oblivion where everything is made of Cheese, even the Daedra"
Mundus really is inside of Oblivion though. Technically speaking, Oblivion is just space, and each plane of Oblivion is a different "planet" (all of them are apparently infinite, which is why they're called "planes" btw). Aetherius is the middle layer between Oblivion and The Void (this last one being where et'ada (daedra and aedra, both greater and lesser) go to reform their physical forms after being slain). Aetherius is where the different afterlifes for each culture are located. Except for those who have pledged their souls to a Daedric Prince. Those go to their respective domains upon death and become their eternal servants.
It... Depends? I mean like, is blood magic necromancy? is flesh magic technically restoration? I guess it'd use the usual divide between Restoration and Necromancy, whether you're working with something alive or dead. I'm inclined to say yes because the atronachs are made in Bal's realm and that dude in Windhelm is a necromancer trying to do flesh magic, but I think it's a specific subtype of necromancy. Like restoration lets you spread plague and disease
Wands are a thing in daggerfall, they're a light miscellaneous item that is very enchantable but only with on-use effects. So they basically act like Oblivion/Skyrim staves but harry potter sized
Mushrooms are more closely related to animals than they are to plants, but I don't know if the people writing the Elder Scrolls took that into account and just did it for kicks.
The water/memory magic theory of yours doesn't hold up very well. But then again it's very hard to make the right interpretation for a lot of these quasi elementals found in the game
Great video, but I'm surprised hist magic wasn't mentioned. I mean its like the Telvanni's weird mushroom magic, basically being able to do magic because argonians get high on one specific tree's sap. From what I gather its a bunch of (semi)-sentient trees communicating with lizard people through visions once said lizard people get high on the sap secreted by the tree, but they can also do magic related to said tree, just I don't think its mentioned what that magic does, only that it is "hist magic", I just find it quite odd. Also I'd raise the point that the Telvanni do hate them (I'd guess because they use giant trees instead of giant mushrooms) but the Telvanni hate pretty much everyone so that is kind-of neither here nor there.
Alright so the Hists are Gods or rather more so like one god seeing as all the Hist are connected. I wouldn't say they really have "hist magic" like i wouldn't say Akatosh has "Akatosh magic" and I wouldn't really equate any of that to Telvanni mushroom magic. It's simply the power to manipulate mushrooms
DICKRIDER IS RIGHT‼‼
Good video though btw
What did he mean by this hMm

@@snowycity I take it you are also passing on the Hist syrup pancakes too?

Can of worms
@@snowycity I see. In my defense, it all sounded way less deranged in my head.
the look on the pricks face when he saw the gyatt
So true sheppy
Also isn’t flesh magic just necromancy with extra steps?
It's totally different because
Necromancy can’t give you a new face or a butt lift.
At least, I don’t think it can.
