If you want EPIC... check out:- Led Zeppelin - Since I've been Loving You - Live at Madison Square Gardens 1973 Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb - Pulse Concert Pink Floyd - Echoes (Part 1) Live at Pompeii 1972
GOATS of Rock. Can't wait for you to go down this rabbit hole. Robert Plant-vocals, Jimmy Page-guitar, John Bonham-drums, John Paul Jones-bass. All at the top of their game with a musical chemistry that could not be repeated.
More live Zeppelin from this concert.! Try the entire 26 minutes of Dazed and Confused. Must be viewed in it's entirety to catch the explosive guitar soloing towards the end. Get ready to be mind blown !
The guitar is a six string and twelve string guitar combination. You may have noticed he started the intro on the 12 string then switched to the 6 string for the solo. The bass is being played by the keyboard player on foot pedals. Jimmy Page is thought by millions to be the greatest rock guitarist of all time. More please from this concert. Try the song Whole Lotta Love ! I also invite you to review the legendary band Rush . Try the song Xanadu from the Exit Stage Left concert. Also the song Spirit of Radio from the Maple Leaf Gardens concert,1984.
This is what it's like to witness greatness. Led Zeppelin performs every song with same kind of commitment whether it's live or in the studio. You may not like every song (or maybe you will), but there is genius in every one of them. To get a taste for their versatility check out "When the Levee Breaks", "Tangerine", or "How Many More Times". Also, anything live, especially "Since I've Been Loving You" from this same concert. Every one of their songs is different and they are all phenomenal.
This band is the GOATS of rock, their music is timeless, every ban member is considered the masters of their instruments and continue to influence every generation when they discover LZ. Recommend next for you to react "the song remains the same / the rain song" live from MSG.
John Paul Jones was an arranger. It was Jimmy's band and he was the driver but the others contributed to the music writing too. Certainly Stairway to Heaven was Jimmy's idea and Jimmy was mostly responsible for it. The lyrics were Robert Plant's though.
I am sure the whole band had input. But the point I was making was in reply to the reactor who commented on why Jimmy Page was allowed to indulge in such a long guitar solo. Because its k8nd of his band, although I am sure that they felt themselves equal partners.
If you liked this song, you will likely enjoy everything in their catalog. Greatest rock band to ever grace the earth, and no band has ever been able to capture what they did. Led Zeppelin is in a class all their own. Definitely worth your time to do a deep dive. If you do, I recommend starting with album 1, track 1 and just keep going. We can give you all kinds of song recommendations, but really, it's all good stuff so might as well make it easy on yourself. Their versatility will astound you. I also recommend studio first, followed by a live performance when you can find good video, such as this one. They didn't perform all their songs live so if you just depend on those, you'll miss out on too much. Lastly, Jimmy Page was a genius producer and a lot of what we hear on studio versions were often not easily replicated live, so bypassing studio versions also means bypassing all that coolness. Just a suggestion, of course. Anyway, enjoyed your reaction, so thanks. Will sub to see where you go take this.
Obligatory plug: If you like this song, there is a tribute to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center Honors performed by Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart, and it's the most amazing tribute ever.
Gibson stopped offering the EDS-1275 in 1969 - this guitar was special-ordered in 1971 - but thanks to its use by Page (and later by Slash of Guns N' Roses), demand for double-necks did not go away. Gibson revived the model in 1977, and it remains in production today
Greatest rock song ever! Check out when Led Zeppelin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band "Heart" sang this beauty, Outstanding! Worth a listen my friend.😊
The double neck was there as a necessity,” Page told Telerama in 2014. “I thought the only way to replicate it properly, to do it any justice, was getting a guitar that will give you 12 strings on one neck, six strings on the other. So I got the double neck as a result of recording 'Stairway to Heaven. '”May 27, 2020
You should hear Heart cover the song as a tribute when they were honored at the Kennedy Memorial Center. One of the best covers! 🔥 but actually first I recommend you react to Heart so you can appreciate it as a band of its own a bit more since they’re older in this performance. Check out their live version of “Barracuda” and also listen to Magic Man” and “Crazy on You” 👌🏼🙏🏼❤️
Aside from the fact that all parts of this performance are unbelievable, the final verse is the most simple yet profound lyric that i ever heard.Be a Rock, and dont roll.Took me years to actually live this but now I'm able to be fully me and not what I'm influenced by
Babe I’m gonna leave you. Kashmir Going to California Every Led Zeppelin song is great, have different styles, different messages and different feels. My personal favorite lyrically is the Rain Song..
I would LOVE to see your reaction to Led Zeppelin performing KASHMIR at the 2007 Celebration Day Concert!! This was their last live performance together..except for the drummer John Bonham who tragically passed many years ago...Led Stopped performing live after his death..but amazingly for this performance his son Jason Bonham steps in and does a killer job on the drums!! They are much older when this concert happened but they prove that age is just a number!!! Many feel it's their best performance of this amazing song..including myself. They had 20 million people wanting tickets to this concert but there were only 20 thousand seats...so they did a lottery for it and omg..I tried but didn't get tickets! Can't say enough about this killer performance!!! You gotta check it out!!
Great reaction...one of my favorite bands. I see you're discovering some legendary rock bands. Not sure if you've checked out Pink Floyd yet but "Comfortably Numb" (live at Pulse) is an excellent one to start with! If you want to stay with Zeppelin for awhile than "Black Dog" & "Whole lotta love" are 2 of my favorites. 🙂
Definetly. That is what I said. It is always best to listen to the studio version first as the live versions often have large amounts of improv. (The solo was very different then it is in the live version).
I highly recommend any of the songs in this playlist, I am constantly updating it with more songs. ua-cam.com/play/PLHbggGKSX0Oca3Yhx9e2Ej7LjXhDayQee.html
Dude 123 punch combination from their final album before their drummer Bonzo died and it was all over. The name of the album is Into The Outdoor but the name of these three songs in a row which are songs number two three and four from a side of the vinyl record album. And they work perfectly as the holy triumvirate: Southbound Suarez, Fool in the Rain, Hot Dog. Highly recommend but the entire album is fantastic. It's a vibe . You can thank me later. Love your action by the way.
Jimmy page, guitarist and founder of the band and songwriter of all their songs, except one. Robert Plant, vocals, John Paul jones, keyboard and guitar, last but not least, legendary drummer John Boname.
Love this song . A band called Far Corporation covered this song, U should take a listen to it ( The long version at - rock pop music hall 02-11-85 , very important , cause its awesome ). Ty for an awesome reaction, as always ! Would like U to check out Terry jacks , with the song Seasons in the sun , its so beutyfull .Would also like to suggest The Doors " Crystal Ship " .
Been rocking to Zep since 71' or so. Love the reaction videos everyone of them are similar the new viewer looks at the screen Gobsmacked and can not believe there were that many notes on a friggin' guitar. When I saw this release of The Song Remains The Same I was every bit as struck as I had never seen them but owned every album to this point. Great stuff FTB, if you want something off the beaten path I've never seen anyone react to it's a guitar driven protest song by a great Canadian Bruce Coburn ua-cam.com/video/azYxPf_Ahp4/v-deo.html all the best keep'em comin' Groover :)
Honestly I still prefer the studio version. Kashmir Ramble on Rain song Lemon song Dazed and confused Immigrant song Whole Lotta Love Black dog Since I've been loving you and when the levee breaks(live version
I would also reccomend listening to the studio version as it is slightly different. It's always best to listen to the studio version of a song first as the live versions often have improv. (This goes for all songs).
This about there is a beautiful lady you like going to a dance high school and you started to dance and all the feelings came out it came out for both of us and that was the longest French kiss I have ever had and I messed up after that I lost my love
And the fact the Rolling Stone said that this was only the 61st greatest song ever written goes to show that they (RS) have zero taste or knowledge in real music.
Love Led Zep. Since you like guitar solos, I recommend Stevie Ray Vaughan "Voodoo Child" ua-cam.com/video/wgIB1OL09H0/v-deo.html. Also I suggest the group Journey.

They can't hide their stunned reactions. I'm 64 and that's exactly why I watch these kids react. This is the GREATEST music of the rock n roll era
GOATS of Rock. Can't wait for you to go down this rabbit hole. Robert Plant-vocals, Jimmy Page-guitar, John Bonham-drums, John Paul Jones-bass. All at the top of their game with a musical chemistry that could not be repeated.
And a shit load of Columbian marching powder.

The Gods of rock. Paige’s guitar playing and Plants voice second to none
Once he said,” Sit back, roll one up…” I hit LIKE button.
In Australia I say wrap one up 🥴🥴🥴
Please continue this journey! Kashmir, Dazed & Confused, When the Levee Breaks… so many!
My high school prom song back in 70 's..jimmy page is one of the greatest lead guitarist ever
Know band can touch the greatest band ever led zeppelin ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Suggest PINK FLOYD” Comfortably Numb” live @ Pulse. One of the best live guitar 🎸 solos. This is a legendary concert. 🤘💥💥
feel like I'm back in high school in the 70's watching you react to these legends now
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band…
There is an interview where page explains how this song was written, well worth the time.
When Giants Walked The Earth 🌎
Holy Crap the EDIT police are here TOO. Jimmy's solo is meant to be watched! Are the reactors seeing the Vid, Sad day if they can't see the magic.
This band is the GOATS of rock, their music is timeless, every ban member is considered the masters of their instruments and continue to influence every generation when they discover LZ. Recommend next for you to react "the song remains the same / the rain song" live from MSG.
Led Zeppelin was really the guitarist Jimmy Page's band. He wrote and arranged most of the music, produced it and founded the band as well.
John Paul Jones was an arranger. It was Jimmy's band and he was the driver but the others contributed to the music writing too. Certainly Stairway to Heaven was Jimmy's idea and Jimmy was mostly responsible for it. The lyrics were Robert Plant's though.
John Paul Jones had a huge hand in arranging Zeppelins music❤️
I am sure the whole band had input. But the point I was making was in reply to the reactor who commented on why Jimmy Page was allowed to indulge in such a long guitar solo. Because its k8nd of his band, although I am sure that they felt themselves equal partners.

Led Zeppelin , Pink Floyd , Deep Purple & others 70s bands !!!!!!!!

100% Agree. 👊🏽

#1 rock song of all time!
You hit the nail on the head for sure. 🔥GOD TIER🔥 #LEDZEPPELIN #StairwaytoHeaven

Another greatest rock song of all time along with "Bohemian Rhapsody".
While a great live performance...the studio recording is absolute perfection.
Please do The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song from this concert 1973 at MSG!! It will blow you away!
And after that, try since I've been loving you live same concert!
YES THANK U FOR REACTING
🔥🤘🏽Gotcha✅
Several led zeppelin songs have lyrics that reference lord of the rings, so the legend of zelda comment wasn't far off.

Magical! I read somewhere that the musical knowledge on guitar that Jimmy Page has would amount to a doctorate degree. It’s astounding!

It's an 18 string guitar, 12 on the top and 6 on the bottom. This is close to one of Jimmy Page's top 10 guitar solos.

Stair steps. First steps are slow. Each step gets louder. By the end of the song they are at the top of the stairway to Heaven.
