- In this video I cover why the BMW M240I surprised me. So, the BMW M240I is in its second iteration and now faster than ever. It occupied the middle ground between the base 2 series and the soon to be M2 versions. But what should you expect from it?
I can tell you that my expectations were pretty high for this M240I. I was curious to see how close it was to an M2 Competition and also as an overall car with the M badge on its back. Although it has its compromised, its actually a surprising package for the price point. Watch the video for my full thoughts!

Solid review I’ve had mine 4 months and love it. My only gripes are like you said steering feel and brake pedal that’s grabby at low speed and a soft feel at higher speeds. Overall though this is a great daily sleeper car
Your videos are always comprehensive and good. I really appreciate this car's drivetrain and technology, and interior, but the exterior styling seems contrived and awkward compared to the previous generation. Also the purple color seems to be making the rounds with reviewers and after seeing one in person I have to say I was disappointed that BMW didn’t use the opportunity to experiment more with a multi colored paint that shows off slight color hues in sun that would be more exciting than a 1970's MOPAR normal purple.
You nailed it. Best deal on the market today for the enthusiast driver on a reasonable budget.

@@Ruxl21 fully optioned out M240i is way cheaper than a fully optioned M340i and I think it looks better. I love mine!
@@user-le8kv4cr3f definitely cheaper but doesn’t look better, I like it but a lot of people don’t.
I don’t really get into what other people like or don’t like. I have one fully optioned out in black and love the damn thing. Way better than my F30 340i

I really don’t think this is the stock exhaust, it sounds like the MPE was optioned on to this. Such a good tone, I’ll have to pick one up for myself once I order my car

Hard to complain about the stock brakes when you have the base package. Pro pack has bigger front brakes and better tires.
I know it’s a press car but I am getting sick of seeing this car in purple. It looks so much better in others colors especially Brooklyn Grey.
Brooklyn grey definitely the best colour for the M240 . Apparently it’s the colour of war ships , pretty cool huh !

Omg finally after watching thus video I made my mind clearly I was not able to pick between new nissan z or this due to its little ugly but im 100% sold to this car guess I'm going to dealership tomorrow lol
