@@harryshawgolf Harry I live in New York and I’m a 12.7 handicapp. Last year I used the Titliest AVX. Don’t have the fastest swing speed so felt easier to compress. This year plan on switching to the Pro V1 for more spin as my spin tends to be on the lower side. At $55/dozen at my skill level the premium balls are getting crazy in price. I will keep playing the premium balls as I haven’t found a mid-tier ball that is nearly as good. Was thinking about trying the ERC Soft-hear good things except multiple reviews say you will lose some green side spin. So my question is could you put out a video on recommended balls for a midhandicapper? Kind of an offbeat topic but I think proper ball choice can certainly impact anyone’s game. Thank you
Thanks for this, I did create a video on this a while ago so I would recommend giving it a watch but do bear in mind my filming skills weren't as good then haha, and it was based on last year's golf balls. I could look into this, let me know which ones you're looking to try and I'll do my best to get it on here... in the meantime, I would recommend the Srixon z star, this is the ball I tend to use id not the PRO v1. @@harryshawgolf Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of trying the new ERC Soft but curiously if it still generates enough spin green side. I don’t know I’m open to options. At $55/dozen I’ll stick with the Pro V1 unless there is a ball that performs very well at a lower price point like $35-$40. Like I said I don’t generate high spin so a ball with good green side spin is what I need for stopping power. Keep up the great work. Again your Smooth Swing Golf video helped me striking the ball better after one watch. I’ve taken lessons, watch hundreds of videos and that one hit me more than anything for some reason. You just made it simple in my mind. 👍

I feel like it is hard to create separation in the down swing in regard to the lower body and the upper body. If I start the downswing with my lower body that tends to throw the upper body out too. Any tips for starting the downswing with the lower body and delivering the club in-to-out?

All three recommendations Harry for a SMOOTH golf swing are great! Years ago, I bought a instruction book that advocate the left shoulder started the full swing as well as the putter swing. I used this method for years and was scoring quite. For some reason, I left this practice and have now found you advocating the move. So, I will once again revisit an old situation! Well done Harry! I've also become a subscriber!

@@harryshawgolf Have I "managed to try this yet"? You better believe it and I thank you Harry. I review your lessons. My confidence and shots are improving going forward. I am a senior and was fighting pulls and thin shots today on 9 hole round; release is a bit weak / abbreviated.

I'm talking about starting the swing from the left pocket (the lead pocket). Keep me posted on how it goes!
