Nice rifle, for SW MS I shoot 110 or 115 grain bullets out of my 270. The light bullets give full penetration beyond 400 yards and the velocity gives kills like the deer was hit with a bolt of lightning. I got my friend that hunts with the 308 to try 125 grain bullets. He hasn't looked back.

A single 3 shot group is almost meaningless. It might be the best you'll ever get ,the worst,or in - between and you don't know which. I also think that two or three 5 shot groups is minimum for a heavy barrel rifle like that one.For hunting weight rifles I think 3 shot groups are fine. That rifle will probably do better than that with loads it likes.

Is this at 100 yards? I would have expected this rifle to group a little bit better.

I have this rifle in 6.5 creedmoor. Nice shooting! What is the rifle rest set-up you are using?

I tried some aguila, first shots in my bergara 6.5 cm to site in roughly. I kid you not it shot 15 inch groups

I believe that. I had a couple lots that did not perform that well. Even had a few fail to fires from a different lot due to the primers.

I keep my pull screw out seeing as i want the lowest weight anyway. 2.1 lbs roughly backed out all the way

That’s where I am at also. Just got a CVA Cascade in .450 BM. Need to pull the set screw for trigger weight before it falls out.

@@BehindTheTrigger0 ahh. Yah i mean it was out already so i was concerned but i see why now. Perfect weight for freestyle prone. And the 450 BM is very interesting to me. I hear of some having good luck with really heavy subsonics. 400+ grain subsonic train. Not sure the recipe but with all the 300 BLK craze this would be the 300 prc to 6.5 prc camparison. Not sure if theres good applications for this in BR but some claim extreme accuracy from these types?

@@Ohyeahcoolaid69 The claim to fail for the 450 BM is having a hard hitting round for those states that allow for straight wall rifle round for hunting. The 450 is just below the max length. The 45-70 gov round is a shade to long for most states with the those hunting laws…
Went with the .308 because it is easier to find right now and much cheaper then the 6.5 rounds.

@@BehindTheTrigger0 ahh, yes. And something like the 350 legend or old cowboy gun using pistol ammo sure isn’t ethical unless close but with todays crowded world i guess its best the bullet drop to the ground 50 yds after vs 500.
