Jones Gap State Park - Rainbow Falls Trail - Sights and Sounds of the Best Waterfall Hike

- It has been several weeks since I have been on a hike so I headed to Jones Gap State Park for the Best Waterfall Hike.
Jones Gap is one of my favorite South Carolina State Parks. The Rainbow Falls Trail is about a 4.4 mile out and back hike. It is a strenuous hike due to the elevation but seeing Rainbow Falls is worth it! Rainbow Falls drops about 100 feet and is a gorgeous sight!
Jones Gap State Park offers other hiking trails as well including Jones Gap Falls which is an easier trail.

I haven't hiked at Jones Gap yet but would like to. I recall reading that you should call for a parking reservation in advance especially on certain days when it can get crowded. Beautiful video.
Yes! I think parking is still required on weekends. I try to go on weekday mornings because the park can get crowded. Thank you for watching! Have a great weekend!
