- In this video we explore Magaliesberg once again, when we take a look at kranskloof hiking trail. It's a 9km hike and fairly moderate. The hike offers various scenery from dry to lush. This is definitely a must hike and worth the drive from Gauteng. Also, make sure to check out the ziplane tours on the route.

We just did it two weeks ago! All the rain has made it very green and we swam in the gorge. It was incredible!
This was done during Spring, so I can just image how lush it might be now with all the rain 😳

Hi, to be honest I don’t remember 😂 it might be just a fee but no booking required. You can double check on their website 😁

Hi, the zipline is separate and the parking was safe, we didn’t see any wildlife but im sure there are some.

Hi fellow Snyman! I woulk like to know what camera and drone you are using? I'm also interested in filming my vacations and hikes but I don't know where to start and what to budget for the filming equipment.

I personally think it’s very easy to start filming today as most phones can shoot at 4k (video) and most phones have a built in movie editor.
I use my iPhone and IMovie app to create these little films.
At the start a drone would just be a luxury although it does offer some great scenes. If you are really keen for one I prefer DJi drones. I’ll obviously encourage to start with what you have a phone or old go pro and see how it goes 👌
I wish to go this Sat with a friend. Any tips, what we should take with us, money to pay, how long is the hike? How to get there from Pretoria, what's the best time? Will really appreciate it
Best time is as early as possible to miss the heat, I can’t remember what the cost was R70 or something. The best is to take the Megaliesberg highway N4, I think. Lots of water and a camera 😁
