My next SC State Park on my quest to become an Ultimate Outsider was one of the best SC State Parks - Jones Gap State Park.
The Middle Saluda River runs through Jones Gap State Park and offers some of the best trout fishing in South Carolina.
If you like to camp Jones Gap State Park has 18 wilderness/back country campsites.
Jones Gap State Park has over 60 miles of hiking trails and 2 scenic waterfalls. After getting my Ultimate Outsider Stamp I hike to the two beautiful waterfalls, Rainbow Falls and Jones Gap Falls.
This year I have decided to become an Ultimate Outsider so I would check out some the South Carolina State Parks I have never been to. To become a SC State Parks Ultimate Outsider you just need a SC State Parks Guide and collect a stamp at each of the 47 South Carolina State Parks.

What a beautiful waterfall. Love hiking to a pretty falls. We did a Tennessee trip and got to see a bunch of them. We have yet to explore in SC. If we ever make it there, hopefully we'll get the chance to see some falls.

Love your music choice! Rainbow Falls is by far the hardest trail i’v ever hiked. Took me 4 hours to do that one and it nearly beat me (nearly tried to call the park office and have someone rescue me). Another great video!

Cool video, Liz. That was an awesome trail. I loved the pathways between the boulders. The trail maintenance crews sure did a nice job on that trail with all the rock steps. Beautiful waterfall. Awesome. Take care.
