I've had it in my head to hop those islands in my gyrocopter for years now. It was cool to see it from this perspective. Thanks!

I agree with Evan! I could sit here and watch for hours. Aspiring pilot as well as an aspiring Powerball winner, I love and hope to own a Cirrus. Thank you for going through the trouble of mounting cameras for us to enjoy!

I prefer Kellys Island to South Bass, and both are pretty much the same runway length. How come you left Kellys off your list?

Hey man, I love your videos, keep making them! Otherwise,
I'll have to start watching them as re-runs lol

What speed do you fly on final for those short runways? I am going to KMTP next week and while the runway is 3000 there is a sand dune on one side that makes it slightly tighter. So I want to make sure I nail everything.

Wow, it seems to me your Cirrus sure has a lot of grunt on take off, I know you increased your rpms a bit because of the short runways, but it really gets up to speed in a hurry. Nice airplane, is it really that quiet and it seems to handle wind nicely.

Next time you're in the area try the Tin Goose at PCW.
When you're done there take 39 mile ride north to ONZ and take me for a ride in that fancy plane :) Ill take you for a ride in a Beech V35 in return.

Great video, thanks for sharing! Have you ever flown to KTSO? Great diner there and scenic rolling hills. Hit me up if you ever come down, would love to meet up.

Why does the Cirrus make that warble osscillation on the engine sound when full power goes in?

Other constant speed systems you don't get this same type of sound if you manage it properly. Is the Cirrus getting full power/pitch when you need it?

Craig its because the power lever controls both manifold pressure and prop. It works different from a typical constant speed prop aircraft. The video explains it very well.

I've seen the video before. I guess it's just a little bit of latency? Seems to take a second or two to get up to full
