Flying to Put In Bay With Electric Scooters In The Back For Ground Transportation

Erin and I flew to Put in Bay, Ohio this past weekend. We bought electric scooters that could be put in the back of a plane so that we could have ground transportation when we fly places. We've been having fun with the scooters at home, using them to get around town for short trips, and this is our first time putting them in the plane. Most people come to the island on a ferry and rent golf carts; however, the golf carts are very slow. The ferry works but flying in is way better. We passed many golf carts as we explored the island. This is my first attempt at the travel vlog format. Hopefully you enjoy it. Normally I just post about how you can achieve financial freedom with real estate, and I will continue to do that while occasionally uploading other fun videos like this. Why would anybody follow my content on financial independence if I'm not living the type of life that financial independence is supposed to enable. So here it is--we do interesting things sometimes.
I have my private pilot license and we rented a Cessna 172 from the flight school on Grosse Ile that I learned to fly at. The scooters are Kaabo Mantis King GT's. We went to The Keys restaurant for lunch. There are a number of parks on the island as well that we checked out. Put in Bay is predominately a party island, or at least that's the vibe that it gives. Having flown in, that's not what we were there for and we still had a good time.
