They often rewrite history and change how they saw events in the relationship. Best of luck! Try to remind yourself that you cant be replaced and you have qualities that others dont. You are the only you. I'm trying to remind myself that as I'm in NC for 3 weeks after being so loving and giving to the point of being needy.

Their feelings may change but the damage they’ve done isn’t forgotten. I would never discard a person like trash or give a silent treatment. Horribly toxic behavior. Sometimes it IS best to walk away forever…. I’ve learned the hard way.

This sounds like my situation. Together 9 years. Engaged. Helped raise each others kids. 6 weeks after I left he had someone new. Clearly she was already in the picture. He was mean, blamed me for everything and completely stopped contact with me and my kids who he claimed to love. Rebounds don’t always crash and burn. It’s been over 3 years and they are still together. Don’t live on hope that he will be back because they don’t always come back. I’ve moved on and I’m happy but the way it ended still brings tears to my eyes. Never thought he’d do that to me.
Hi Craig!! I want you to know today makes the Big 50 today in NC!! Thanks to the help in all your videos,I never thought I could do that,trust me. I don't feel like he cares, he hasn't reached out at all, he's an avoidant,the last texts being the end because he wouldn't talk about it,I reached my breaking point,not to mention the accusations were wrong. I miss him terribly,still think of him,worse I think he's living with someone.These past few months have been agonizing,deeply depressed. I'm hoping he thinks of me,and reaches out,but I don't hold out to much hope.
I respect that Coach Craig doesn’t call out other coaches and content creators by name when there’s conflicting viewpoints. I think it’s kind of a respected unwritten agreement in this community that relationship/breakup coaches may disagree with one another without resorting to drama by name dropping. I only watch two channels but neither one of them call each other out by name even though here’s certain points of disagreement. Thanks coach Craig for keeping the high ground!

That’s one thing I didn’t feel like was nothing. I am a father and my child kept me going. You should focus on something to keep you grounded while you work on yourself, your family or friends. You’re more than just your relationship. Obviously if you’re here looking for help you probably aren’t a bad person so keep your head up.
At this point I don't care if she cares anymore. When she broke up with me I wanted to make it amicable and I wanted us to be friends. Because we where friends 4 years prior to our relationship and we have mutual friends and functions. When I went to her place to give her back her keyes and belongings we talked a bit and I offered her a ride to the grocery. After that she completely stopped talking to me, I was a bit sad and didn't know why until a few weeks later. Just a week after the breakup she got together with a dude she had known for some months through a computer game she plays. When I found out I begged and plaeded for a week, she told me she understood my pain and said she would help me through it and then she completely ignored me again. In retrospect I see the things I did wrong in the relationship and I see she tried to talk to me about my inability to communicate feelings since communication and transparency was important to her. That just feels like utter bs now. Even one of her breakup excuses was that she didn't want to feel alone in a relationship, and then she starts a new with a guy who lives a 3-4 hour ride away.
And this is something she did to someone she had known for 4 years as a friend and 7 months as someone she claimed to love, without any second thoughts.
This is amazing. It's literally my story after 8 years verbatim. Just I'm the guy and my ex (female) was just like the male described in this 1st story. Thanks coach craig again amazingly insightful as always. I'm anxious. She was avoidant 😢

i get to see mine during college and to see her happy and just walk past me and also talk to others that are around me does hurt me alot :'), the relationship was solid no cheating nothing a 1 year relationship with 11 months, the only problem was communcation....first week after the breakup she wanted to give it a try but then everything went south i begged i cried i pleaded and broke no contact multiple times, we messaged last week she blocked me 3 days after we messaged, still blocked...that when i was going no contact again...she went from caring and loving to just a stranger, i dont even know if it is worth trying again we had an on and off relationship and our anniversary was during this month on the 28th december and i was her first in everything
i pray to soon become a succes story

My ex tried to tell me I split with her, after she told me she had ended it the day before. Then she moved on 2 weeks later and to leave her alone. She turned so cold so fast, if was like she never felt love at all

My son was found non responsive in his bed by my youngest son today & I’m in another state with my ex but of course on my way home but when I asked my ex whom I’ve been abandoned by since May ( except when he wanted sex)he was raised by a gang ( in the streets) & a lil by his grandmother both his parents went to drugs & the streets & I do remember him saying he use to wonder y they didn’t want him & left him & he never stayed more than 2 yrs with a woman but with me almost 8yrs

I'm in such a hole right now. She knows I went through a though time, had surgery on my nose which has given me serious anxiety to the point I don't want to go out, she knows all this and over the weeks became cold and ended things after I challenged her on her distance and how she had made plans with me then told me a few days later she double booked. We were LDR and all this made me uncomfortable and suspicious. I think she was wanting to end things and now she just doeant want to talk. Posting updates on Facebook about booking holidays with friends ect. I just feel so let down by her. And sad. I just want to tell her, as it seems like she doesn't care at all.
Someday I'm sad, some days angry to the point I just don't want to ever see her again, then the next I want her so bad. I'm struggling a lot, don't know what to do. I feel like she's seeing someone else, and can't help I've caused it with my negative thinking that way
Part 2: he showed some condolences but when I asked him can he come see tonight after his shift before I catch my flight at 5am he stated he had something to do…..the pain in my heart has gotten stronger because I would have been there for him no matter what.
Your mistake was inviting him, after he sent his condolences you should've said TY. Don't worry you'll hear from him but whatever you do....don't invite him anywhere. When he walked away from that next hour onward you are no longer his. So he isn't obligated to shower you with the same empathy as if he WAS WITH YOU...

3 months post breakup - 1 month into NC after 4.5 years together living together for 4 of them.. talked marrige and kids etc.. i think she was on a date yesterday and it hurts so much, i dont think she will ever come back to me, she is so determind in her decision, even told me to force my self to move on and dont text her but also said she still loves me
It's a distraction, this other person, nothing more. It shows she is very insecure, begging for attention.
@@AllenB-mz5vl I hope so! i also hope her dates will make her realise that im the one she loves, since i can feel in my gut that she didnt breakup over that, but simply cuz i wasnt evoleing and she didnt see a furture with me, but ive improve so much and continue to do so!

Her mistake was reaching out after the breakup! Plus she didn't give him enough time to miss her. He basically used her as a safety net until seeing something he wanted to capture. She would've won if the communication was shut down and just left! When the No contact button had to be pushed she would've did it from her choice instead of being pushed to do it.😮😮😮😮😮😮

What about no contact when it was a long distance relationship? And the only comment is we are not friends on fb, however for my job some of my profile information, and to see how many friends I have are public. So how does no contact work when they can look at that stuff and maybe give them a fix of sort of connecting, even though they do not reach out.
if my ex its dating someone already and she lied to me that she didn't see anyone, but her cousin which she lives with her told me that she has been dating someone for a month and sleeps by him every weekend and she is my neighbor and she lives next door and she blocked me everywhere and her child still calling me PAPI when sees me.. and I know that it is so because the car is gone and the child, when he sees it, keeps asking where mom is

Really need some advice guys/gals. I was dating a girl for 4 years with plans on my end to propose to her in June in Mexico. She lied to my face that she was off work(we both work nights together) I go into work to hear she had transferred out to her home town 1600 miles away. I started to call her but her phone was off/ I was blocked on all social platforms. I came home to an empty house. She left me a note on the bed(immature if you ask me) saying pretty much saying good bye and I love you still. I haven’t heard from her in 5 weeks. My mom reached out to her because some of my stuff is missing. She replied back to my mom saying I hope all is well but please don’t contact me again and that I’m moving on. I’m mentally destroyed and heart broken and don’t know where to turn.
Can fearful avoidants understand as this after a breakup , after they jumped into a rebound impulsively for a total misunderstanding? In my NC he is reaching indirectly to me in many ways. But he act as he doesnt care.. But cant give up on me or lose me still, because he knows he misunderstood.
What do you think about someone in a marriage for 27 years, husband left and moved in with rebound after 1 month. January will be 6 months since he left and 5 months since they moved in? Shouldnt this rebound blow up soon?

Not enough time to process the end your relationship.
The new relationship is a band-aid.
Over time the band-aid will become scuffed and tattered to the point where it needs to be ripped off…and with that…a whole lot of pain will follow.
Stop being so weak people!!! Every breakup is an opportunity to get stronger.
If they don't care, why should you?
She dumped me, and after some months of no contact she is:
- mirroring my posture (when im in public) and my copiyng profiles pics;
- repeating what i say when i talk in group,
- mirroring my voice,
- laugh of everything that i talk
But never try to starts a conversation or try some direct contact etc (i said when she dumped me that im not interested in friendship, and in case of her changing ideal, to talk/contacg with me)
Is she breaking no contact or giving me breadcrumbs?
This feels like a deer in the wild. One sudden move and you’ll scare her away. It sounds like she wants to get close but is not fully doing it yet. Like what they call the “anxious stage”. Just keep on doing you, she’ll come around. Remember she has to work for it, she did the damage. Don’t make it easy by making the direct contact. It sounds like you may get a message to test the waters instead of a physical interaction. Just keep on doing what you are doing because it seems to be working lol.

Yes I agree most exes after they dumped u they will behave like they nv cared.
Most if not all who dumped me cut off all communication. I had an ex block and remove me from all social media, but requested to add me after a few years and we started talking but the spark is already gone.
My current ex, the day b4 the breakup we were still intimate but the next day she broke things off cos I got triggered by her again and lost emotional self control. The next day i apologized and asked her if we can talk it over when she is cooled down but she ignored me. A few days later i tried to txt her again and was still ignored. So i decided to leave her alone and stop reaching out hoping she will think things thru and come back at her own speed. She did not block/unfriend me on social media tho but its almost 4 months of no communication and it sure feels like she doesn't care about our relationship at all.
Right now I'm in a place where i'm not pining on much hope that she will return altho there's still some part of me hoping that she will. Still feels sad to this day how can she act like I nv existed in her life and like the relationship nv happened.

I thought it was because she worked there.
It was the restaurant where they met for closure,and Craig broke down in tears. Sadly, she never came back to him as far as we know.

Hi Craig, I'm struggling. Thank you for everything truly. If you have time, I have a question. What would be the best thing to do. If you all broke up. But you broke no contact after 15, 20 days, talked for a month and came over finally after a month and it was great and all the love is still there. But two days later, shes just off, then comes to me and says I'm sacred to tell you this, but my Gparants don't want me to see you, and she doesn't even live with them. She's really not a lair and have alot of trauma from family. But she can't find a way this would work. Does no contact still apply and will it still work.. I told her if she won't figure out a way or even try to work on it I'll have to move on, and she says prepare to move on then... I sent a good by video on snap and she said I appreciate that I love you alot. I've never been in this situation and it hurts. I'm lookimg for any suggestions. And if I already messed it up. Just looking for some advice.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Sounds extremely hurtful. If you ever got back together; you’d continually be at risk of her ending things at the drop of a hat given her inclination to allow her family to dictate her relationship choices.
