What's keeping you from the love you crave? The painful answer may be closer than you think - it's the way you treat yourself.
Despite coaching millions to find love, Matthew Hussey once battled an unrelenting inner critic that lacerated his self-worth at every turn. Even simple moments like his wife entering the bedroom would trigger fight-or-flight panic until he learned to be in control of his own happiness.
From his early days as a dating coach to his evolution into a more genuine and relatable figure, Matthew opens up about the challenges of maintaining an image and the freedom that comes with embracing your true self. He discusses the three levels of confidence and how accepting yourself at the deepest level allows your unique essence to shine through.
Matthew also delves into the complexities of dating, offering insights on setting standards, communicating effectively, and becoming a leader in your love life. He emphasizes the power of modeling the behavior you want to see in others and the importance of surrounding yourself with people who provide honest and compassionate feedback.
If you've ever struggled with self-acceptance, navigating the dating world, or finding the courage to be unapologetically yourself, this episode will inspire you to embrace your authentic self and create the love life you truly desire.

I hope everyone can read this book before they start dating again. It’s so incredible hard to find anyone who can put in any level of effort these days. Very here today and gone tomorrow and disposable culture. I can only ever attract people who don’t care for themselves and they couldn’t even begin to care for someone else till they can provide the space for their own healing..

Interesting video content, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

My issue in middle age is meeting people to date full stop. What do you do when your few friends are partnered up, Meetup groups are mostly tragic and full of the people that life left behind, your interests don't put you in the path of single women and you think it's cringe to try and flirt with someone in the street or a supermarket?

I’ve loved this conversation. I love that idea of I am my own person to take care of. I’ve shared similar videos of Matt saying this with my kids and friends. I’m in a new version of myself and embracing who I am without apology. Dated guys that wanted to change my likes and who I am. Even though I wasn’t happy with that I still held onto them. Not anymore!

I had the same thing. But soon i noticed all the things i did not like at all in a man. So he was not ony not my type, he also dit not fit the way i am. He has social anxiety, he told me the other way around. He did not like to travel as often as i did. So i felt hold back when i was with him. Had to change my life to fit with him..... Biggg no! So with 4 months i ended it. Felt so good for me. (He blamed me for having another person i was dating at the same time as him. I only did tell him we are not a match, so i wanted to break up 😅 )

Can I ask: WERE U BUSY, AND JUST OFFERED DUDE SUNDAY. ? Or was it a display And indifference to show your now, husband you had some sort of self-control. You were really actually busy on Saturday when he asked you out. Cause then it just doesn't make sense because you say no. Pretty busy. I'll see you Sunday, but you're not really busy. I understand you're building the tension. The sexual tension, but I guess the tension could have been built built up even by meeting up on satur day. That's right. I don't know. I guess. Were you really busy on Saturday?

Just noticed about this love guro guy that in all his videos its always the other person is wrong.. what about you as the person, dont you have any flaws?! I know love is not as simple as we think most of the time it is really complicated and hard and painful to some degree. However it takes two people working together to make it happen. Not just one person should be the good one.. both have to take risk, sacrifice, love whole heartedly and respect each other.

That actually makes sense, i would rather say: Make peace with being single. Like truly. And when some a**hole comes along... it should be instantly clear that being single is clearly the better option.
Or if you are the a**hole... don't be. Or if you have to be: don't be with people.
