Making My Cadillac Sound Like A Corvette! CTS-V Gets Exhaust

- I am loving my first gen cts-v. In stock form it is a pretty cool car. it however has a nice quite ride. today I change that. first I changed the air intake. Today I changed the exhaust. I bought a X pipe off amazon along with a couple flowmasters super 10's. What do you guys think?

The V sounds damn good. But nothin can beat that Jags exhaust imo
Yeah not gonna lie I was super excited about hearing my exhaust. Than when I heard the F-Type again.... 😓
For me, it sonds better than the Jag. Has a nice deep bass to it. The jag with all that popping and crackling is just too much drama...
Love your 1st Gen Cadillac CTS-V! Still gotta love a big naturally aspirated V8 engine in a fully-functional four door sedan with all of the Cadillac "creature comforts" for that year/generation of car. Alot of the factory OEM exhaust systems on todays cars, trucks are way too quiet! I do love my 3 inch all stainless steel dual tip system on my current ride. It does add noticeable performance & sounds great + throaty without being obnoxious on the inside of the vehicle. And exhaust mods always do well with cold air intakes! Some of my friends/family tell me to please just "leave things alone" on vehicles, but I too literally NEVER leave literally anything stock, lol. Look very forward to seeing more modifications on your sweet CTS-V!! Great work on the videos.

My 2005 V1 had a stainless Borla cat back system on it when I bought it. I find it a bit loud.
I think the stock system sounds good. If my Borla system weren't quite so loud I might drive it a bit more aggressively....LOL
You should watch my most recent v1 video, I completely redid the system it sounds so much better.

Mine still has the stock exhaust and I'm not going to do anything except install wireless cutouts between the resonator and mufflers.
Ha! A company just sent me cutouts, however I'm putting them on a buddy's car instead of mine. I just finished up my new exhaust set up I'll have a video out on it soon
@@PerformanceOnWheels nice! I enjoy the fact that our local cops can't tell the difference between mine and the base model cts-es running around town so I wanna keep up with the ability to blend in.

where is the list of purchases? I have a 2007 ctsv got it for my birthday last year ..65k miles so beautiful.. I also want the cold air intake and need to change cats. Recommendations?
Check out my most recent CTS-V video. I go thru my exhaust set up. Could not be happier with it!! Intake was hard to come by if I remember right. You will have to do some searching!! Sounds like an awesome birthday

Look up your car and just type the parts you want I'm sure they make intakes and exhaust for it
