For me the cadillac ctsv is my favorite sedan, and like a dream car, remember when I was a kid and I played at midnight club 3, and I used this car. I've always wanted to own a car like this in reality, but living in Europe is very difficult to find cadillac ctsv, they cost a lot and are expensive to maintain, in the end I found a car almost similar to the cts, the lexus GS430 mk2, will not have the performance of the cadillac, but also the lexus was present in the game and the main thing is V8, which in Europe are very very difficult to see because of the fees :D continues like this, beautiful video
Not to mention how that change pocket under the head unit smacks down so aggressively lmao
I have a stealth gray 05. I pulled out the CD/DVD player and installed a slide out android 4 in touch screen. I was able to leave the DIC so I still get alerts from the car.
5 Worst
1. Trans cooler in radiator. Gives out and car overheats and won't shift with fluids mixed.
2. Timing chain replacement. Very expensive nightmare to replace
3. 3rd brake light is LED and has high failure rate. Expensive.
4. Rear differential is weak.
5. Acre of cheap plastic interior.

5. Can be bought for little money on used market since many think Cadillacs are still a grandpa car.
Nice I have an 04 CTS-V and yea I agree it does have a great turning radius! And I own both 04 V and 05 Base Model!
I had mine in a sloped driveway, I was standing outside the car trying to pop the hood, I reached through the window to grab the hood latch, and accidentally grabbed the parking brake release instead. Car started rolling down the driveway and I was just barely able to fling the door open and get on the brake before the car crashed into my other car parked further down the driveway. Worst parking brake placement I've ever seen in any car.

I have to agree with the cup holders, definitely what where they thinking was exactly my thoughts. 6 lug wheel I guess they though they would hold the tork better. I own a 2004 V1 and have found some of the same issues
I hope you know more about music than English. "what were they thinking" and "torque".
Have you swapped the SRX differential yet? 3.91 gear was literally just 3 bolt swap? My 2007 diff just died and my mechanic is saying the only option is the CS 8.8 for about $7500 installed (diff, axles, carbon fiber driveshaft)

Have an 06 ctsv, Aside from obvious weak @$$ diff which is the worst...
1.I live in a state that can freeze for 2 months out of the year, not many know this but... the way the locking mechanism on the doors were made when they get to freezing temperature the locking mechanisms freeze up and the doors wont shut!!! my first winter this happened to me maybe 5 or 6 times, you need to lube the locking mechanisms WELL and sometimes (i havent had to yet) put a hair dryer/ heater on the locking mechanism so the door will shut and stay shut/locked. Not ALL doors will do that, so far just driver rear door and drivers door once, but it is VERY annoying when trying to take kids to school in morning and you have to wait for 15-20 minutes to lube up and get the damned door mechanism to keep the door shuT!!!!!!
2. I agree on the lug pattern for the wheels, they are horrible,, like 2 aftermarket wheels you can use for the V, that being said though,, I absolutely Love the stock wheels and ill probably widen the rear and have them refinished.
3. Agree on the Navigation/DIC, its a very old system and like he said if u want to upgrade it you have to do a LOT of modifying and adding a touchscreen and even more modifying if you want to keep the DIC (you have to buy a stock CTS radio and gut the lower cd player area then put a touch screen in it and get a dealer to reflash the stock CTS radio for your car.
4. The seats are...... fine, but they are definitely Cadillac seats from yesteryear, big and flat. I like the materials they use but being the first model of V would have been crazy to have a custom recaro etc seat for the car, not old gramps flat buckets.
5. If your upgrading the fuel system, the fuel system has no return AND the fuel pump bucket for the tank is HORRIBLE, oh AND there is NO fuel pump access port/hole IN the car, you have to cut a hole to access the fuel pump assembly... if not, you have to DROP THE WHOLE REAR SUBFRAME of the car then DROP THE FUEL tank.... all to access the fuel pump assembly.

Just some cheap Amazon cigarette lighter plug-in! Search "Bluetooth radio adapter" on Amazon and there's hundreds of them that pop up. Get the phone charger one, it's lowkey and not cumbersome like the others.

I have a2004 ctsv for sale..... 19718 original miles..LS6...manual transmission...silver with cream leather interior....loaded... lots of Crome...I’m the only owner....garage kept.. never in rain or snow....I’m 70 years old and female... so this car has been taken care of..20,000.00 firm

What's the width of your tires....I running 275's
245s all around. I was going to do 275s in the rear, but heard mixed things about clearance. Does yours rub any?

Im running 275s as well no rubbing..
And occasionally run 265s when see a good deal on them
