Absolutely fantastic show! Great video quality showing all DP musicians at their best!! This is classic DP MK 2 reincarnated very ably with Don Airey and Simon McBride. A very good mix of classic favourites with new releases from = 1.❤ RIP Jon Lord and our favourite Richie Blackmore who have left a lasting musical legacy.
I was there,I seen yes and deep purpleboth where great,but deep purple is the band many years ago that got me addicted to this great music,purple are true musicians,well educated,in the rudimentary of music,thank you guys the show was great
I live about 20 minutes from Jones Beach. I love it going there for a show was there took my younger sister who actually had to listen to Deep Purple growing up as I was cranking it through our house circa 1976.. I was 14.. we had a great time at the show.

Awesome job on this video! Thanks for sharing! Deep Purple is definitely hitting on all cylinders. Surprised by the lack of enthusiasm by the crowd, very strange. We were at opening night in South Florida and the audience was way more excited and into the show. I got the impression the audience here was not really impressed by Simon McBrides awesome guitar playing.
They were too loud for the boomers should have toned it down a bit we are trying to save what’s left of our hearing! Also surprise guest might have helped. Entire upper tier empty sorry 😢to say!!
Simon McBride is the best thing to happen to Purple since Blackmore left. Steve Morse was too flashy and in the style of Vai/Satriani, McBride is more of a traditional rocker and keeps the tone closer to the original Blackmore era.
Ian Gillan's voice is still amazing. Roger Glover's bass is killer. Ian Paice's delicate transgressions on trash cans is stellar. Don Airey (keys) and Simon McBride (lead/rhythm guitar) ain't too shabby neither. I give them a 10 out of 10 because the lyrics are great and the songs are easy to dance to.
Simon bringst the feeling of the 70's back!!!. Great guitarist, who plays not so much solis like Steve. Steve morse was 25 years not deep purple. He was Steve, and he plays Solos 10 minutes, for Himmelfahrt not for the dp fans. We have dp back!!!!!!!!.

I don´t think so. Ritchie Blackmore contacted David Coverdale for a reunion but he wanted him to perform Mk II stuff while Coverdale wanted Blackmore to play Mark 4 stuff. That´s why Whitesnake did the Purple Album. Also Ian Paice said that won´t happen and that´s why he loves to play for the tribute band Purpendicular that also plays the Mk III stuff.

I saw them Sept 4 at Saratoga. What an amazing show. Don Airey on keys took it away. The guitarist and him riffed back and forth. I was mesmerized.
