I've learnt so much from you I appreciate you taking time out of your day to keep us women informed. I just finished watching a channel named The good life. He's saying women shouldn't be on hrt it causes cancer and when we lose estrogen it's meant to be. I left a comment and said I'll take advise from Dr. Gersh 😊
Wish he had vaginal atrophy. Wish everyone naysaying hormones who've never had tremendous suffering would have their chance to endure this hell. Walk a mile in our shoes or shut it.
I watched Marcus' video too. He thinks estrogen is only for making babies. His wife mentioned her night sweats in 2 videos. When I brought it up he made excuses and denied it. He should stay in his own lane.
I absolutely love your videos because I always learn so much from you. You are a great teacher. I love how you geek out on the basic sciences as well as the clinical science. Thank you ❤
I cannot thank you enough for sharing your knowledge with us and educating women about our health. It boggles my mind that, at 49, I am only learning about much of this now.
I will soon be 73, and wish I had known what was going on in my body through my 40s and 50s. I wish I could do it over knowing now what I should’ve known then!! Thank you for your detailed explanations.🙏
We need doctors with your important medical knowledge about menopause so that women can maintain good health. The doctors in Denmark know far too little about the huge damage caused to the body by a lack of estrogen. Thank you SO much for sharing your important medical knowledge ❤️🙏❤️
I'm 47 and on the estrodial patch. My doctor didn't explain anything to me. I have no sex drive and this is my first time hearing this information. I can't Thank You enough for educating us on this topic.
@@imychavez1460 Well, the Dr put me on 0.05mg, which I'm learning is low dose. I feel it has helped with my terrible mood swings and sleep but not with weight gain. I have only been on it for 2 months so I'm guessing my body is still adjusting to it. I will be following up with my Dr next month to make any adjustments needed.
Thank you so much for this very, very important information. The ladies that receive this information before these symptoms begin are very fortunate. I’m in my sixties and am just learning about this. I made an appointment today. Thank you again.
Here from argentina , thank you so much for everything you do for us. Im 62 and never took anything , 9 years of menopause. This year has been terrible for me . I dont understand , i feel horrible in this last yesr , i have to find an expert to ser if i can star now with hrt. I love hearing you dr.
Your reserves have run out... you were lucky you got to 62... women in their late 30s and early 40s are suffering from this deficiency. It's like a car running out of good clean oil.
Thank you for all the informative videos!🙏🏼💖 Please make a video about if Pregnenolone and DHEA can be used instead of other forms of hormones after menopause. Thx
Cela me renseigne beaucoup Merci
Tky, this is the first time I've watched you and truly appreciate the education you are providing. Women should all be better informed about this subject. Thankyou
Thank you SO MUCH for this education. I am 75. Total hysterectomy at 40 then stopped all estrogen at 60. Now I have a vaginal prolapse and wear a pessary with leaky bladder. The GYN I saw has put me on vaginal estradiol 2ml 2X week and I recently learned I can use a low dose on my face and hands. I have also had 2 bladder suspensions. I guess some of this could have been avoided with the continuation of estrogen. : (
Dr. What about those ladies that have had Lycan Sclerosis? Can this treatment help in that area if the problem wasn't totally disfiguring or even THAT bad? Plz can you answer this? It's so important that I know?
Well, I can’t speak for everyone but, I for one would not qualify as a woman in her early 50s who’s having lots of sex, putting myself at risk for HPV. I would put money on your theory above that one any day!
Dr gersh, I am a bit confused with this video. I believe I've heard you say that you're not a fan of estriol because it down regulates the estradiol. This video contradicts your previous ones. Or maybe I've just heard it incorrect.
Hello, please tell me if there is a gyn doctor in the Orlando, Florida area that deals with hormone problems for someone in their 70"s. I have tried 4 gyn physicians in the last 9 months who do not know how to help me. Thanks in advance for your reply ! Regards, Kat
Is it too late if you are 77? After looking into it, does it matter if it’s a cream to rub on your arms or a tablet. I have the starts of prolapse. DHEA …ARE CAPSULES OK?
Get the Estrogen cream for your vagina then see if you can start the pessaries as well. You need to be doing pelvic excercises. Also try and find a good osteopath.
I've had 2 major prolapse surgeries all 4 sides, I think I have different tissue and mesh...ladies weight training and lifting in a heavy physical job is not.good for the cagina wall...
Dear Dr Gersh, tks for the fab info & your SKIN looks so fab ...I am wondering roughtly what age you are so I can decide how fabulous really your skin is!! Will you let us know?? Just ..ish;) (62/nz)
Can you discuss post menopausal uterine lining thickening and then bleeding on HRT. Even at the lowest levels… happens monthly (like a period) and I’m on the lowest patch dosage with progesterone pill every night.
I just don't understand why if menopause is normal, why would one need to add something that nature has stopped delivering. I'm 72 and don't seem to have any problems of the type described, except if I try to insert anything, that is uncomfortable. But the outside is fine and no infections or any such. I was thinking I might want to moisturize, just in case.
Your vagina has atrophied.. that's why its uncomfortable. It essentially shrunk. Most women have no idea what is occurring inside their bodies. And also you are living in a world that is deficient in minerals and proper nutrition. We are all living in a chemical soup. You were born in the early 50s.
Is the estrogen cream safe for people who have had breast cancer with estrogen neg I've been on tamoxifen for 7 yrs had hysterectomy and ovaries removed and a double mastectomy. I've had prolapse repair but it didn't work very well.i often have bladder issues.it sounds like the cream could work. I thought I couldn't touch the estrogen but if it's localised could it be alright.?
Tamoxifen has caused more damage then any Estradiol or Estriol. Especially the body identical ones. You need Progesterone as well. Transdermal...I'd recommend a good homeopath too. Tamoxifen is poisonous... it essentially shuts down parts of your endocrine system.
I’m using the cream but it makes my boobs so tender what’s your view plus I have a trace of blood in my urine it’s not infection please any suggestions help xx

Dr Gersh, you are a gift to menopausal women! So grateful for all the incredible information you are sharing with us. Thank you ❤

Yes, of course!
Don't forget Omega 3 and Omega 7.... every woman needs it daily. Lubrication...

Can you address fibroids & their growth in relation to estradiol & what to do about it. Thx
I second this! Also polyps!
Hi
Thx for the info.am 70yrs. I took out my 2 overies , am really
concern Now.
What is your advice ? Thx
Where is Progesterone in this. You don't take Estradiol alone ever... Progesterone is as important or even more important than the Estrogens.
I’m sure I need vaginal hormone therapy! Thank you for this!
Hi Dr. Gersh, what about vaginal estrone cream. I could not get estradiol in Manitoba

That sepsis kills so many elderly women..

I am in menopause l use evorol Conti patches ❤
Can you discuss post menopausal uterine lining thickening and then bleeding on HRT. Even at the lowest levels… happens monthly (like a period) and I’m on the lowest patch dosage with progesterone pill every night.
Stop taking the micronised Progesterone and switch to USP Progesterone cream.... a lot of women can't take that orally.
What should your levels be ?
Does Dr Gersh ever say what she prescribes for Eatradiol ? Patches, creams or injections?
Everyone is different and will need different delivery methods.
Can you use a natural one please thanks ❤
You use body identical or bio identical or localized estradiol. Or phyto estrogens.
Dos estrogen give you a bleed ❤ thank you for this video ♥️🌹
