In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Комедії
The fact that two separate people heard "storybook for adults" and immediately thought "Prawn-induced shits that bring a man to his knees" is fucking phenomenal
I'm wondering if there was an issue with catering that week?
@@rebeccamoore8536 The way Greg asks Asim about it, it seems like an incident he was aware of too.
Maybe they filmed it after the Baby Food Task. Reminds me of the cheese prices a few series' ago.
Maybe they filmed the tasks out of order and the prawn baby food task was right before the story book task.
@@bitzibaerlie cheese prices?
Lisa is the aunt you didn’t appreciate enough when you were young but as you got older you realized she’s the funniest and coolest person you’ve ever met
Definitely agreed, she's my favourite! Even when she isn't being hilarious, watching her is really wholesome like in the 30 minute walk from the first episode
Totally! She irritated me the first time I watched this series, but she's seriously growing on me this time round
When you don't meet many people in life maybe...🙄
@@22.NUU.DRU.22 nah, it's mostly cuz i meet too many people like you
Facts right there
Imagine my surprise when I realized the title wasn't referring to *either* of the two spoiled-prawn-based bedtime stories.
Me too
@@WyattRyeSway Yup, me too! (I DID see the comment while I was only partway through, so didn't understand right away, but yes...quite the prawny episode!)
Right?
Yup, the stories came and went and I was surprised that the Title Line wasn't even referred to.
Bro I’ve seen them twice over and I STILL got baited
russel just wrote a fanfic
It sounded like a mad lib to me!
The dialogue words really smacked of my immortal
Even though I read this comment before getting to that part, the first few words still took me by surprise. XD
I was going to say that. Now I wonder who's writing those fanfic that do exist ;-)
A moronic one. Unironically, I'm guessing.
God bless Alex Horne and the person that convince him to start an official UA-cam channel
Yes! As an American, this is how I get my Taskmaster fix.
I believe Alex's God is Greg.
@@briggyb yes but this is the official upload and they upload more than just the episodes.

From this ep, I'm waiting for the reveal that Alice Levine has had an individual challenge to greet Alex with a B-word each episode. I remember bella previously and now babycakes.
Now that is an eagle eyed spot. And holy shit, you have the "BWAIN" arnie commercial as your avatar.
that might be tricky because they don't film the tasks in order so she would have no way of knowing if she was saying one per ep. but we can hope
@@noraevison3026, They were able to cut them properly for the fish puns with Sally Phillips.
Sounds like porn stars beginning with B.
Also 'blossom' in episode 2 before the darts task.
I root for Bob Mortimer even when he's not participating
I can never hear "And the winner of today's episode is.." without "Booooooooob Mortimerrrrrrrrr"
@@lindam156 and then an opera singer singing his name about 30 times
Do we strike you?
To be fair, as soon as the "adult story in the style of a children's book" task was announced, my first thought was "I bet the contestants are glad they're not up against Bob for THIS one." 😂
Same for me with my boy Joe Lycett 😍
Lisa's "no F's given" attitude just cannot be topped. A nuclear bomb could take out a full city behind her and she would turn, look, say "right then" and resume her day. Love it
If I got a penny for every time someone used the words "old prawn" in a task this episode, I'd have two pennies. It's not that much, but it's strange it happened twice.
If i had a nickel every time I was doomed by a puppet, I would have two nickels! It's not that much but it's weird it's happened twice.
Not strange, it was one of the ingredients...
CC called it a porn sandwich. I was so confused!
@@William-Morey-Baker yet only one of those times was about the ingredient.
If I got a penny for every time I heard someone use that fucking P+F reference I'd be able to retire happy
Liza’s straight face to camera and then “he shat himself” is genuinely the funniest response to any task I’ve seen so far! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was so unexpected I laughed til it hurt
You can't fault Asim for wanting Greg as a father figure. Seeing him bob 2 fully grown adults on his knee like he was born to do so made my day. And you can't tell me Russel didn't look a wee bit disappointed he din't get to.
Alice ended with 6 points, is that a record low score for an episode?!?
Unbelievable performance!
Her story was so good too!
nope Mel got 3 points in the fishbowl ep
points are not based on performance tho,
@@zeuxlaught2797 then what are they based on?
Richard Osman only got 5 points in one episode, which is in theory the worst given Mel mainly scored so low because she got negative points in one task.
Edit: Charlotte Ritchie also only got 5 in the series 11 opener
god, this show is so binge-able
I'm dehydrated and tired. My eyes are red as an apple and I ache to go to bed.
I use the lavatory and head toward my bedroom... to sleep perchance to dream... but I hear the Taskmaster impersonating Chris Eubank, saying "go back to the couch" so I go back to the couch and there is a letter on parchment, sealed with red wax.
"Watch them all again. Your time starts now."
I save the wax to melt down later.
And it still is in 2022
@@kjkiefcakes1847Omg stunning. The greatest shock is that in my journey of rewatches over the years this is the first time I’ve read this glorious comment. The last line was 👩🍳 😘
@@meinenklinkeYeah I'm with you there. You know how some people say The Office, or Seinfeld, or Friends, or It's Always Sunny is their "comfort food" that they rewatch endlessly - I always stuck my nose up at those people, wondering "how could you waste your time re-watching light entertainment?"
Well Taskmaster has become that for me. It's lulled me to sleep many times now.
17:33 Absolutely love when Alex breaks character at the absurdity of he and Greg's dynamic sometimes
13:50 the "what the f was that" was written all over alex's face and him cracking up, so sweet :D
Also like Alex's face at 6:52 and 35:49
Lisa nailed it. After a hard long day, I just need someone to tell me "You made excellent decisions today. Well done."
Greg giving Asim the blue bike was inexplicably very sweet 😊
Russel not sitting properly in the chair is a vibe I relate with
He and Greg just exude chaotic bisexual energy for sure
What’s improper about it?
1:01 An example. I've never seen anyone put their feet that way.
It’s actually an ADHD thing.
Just one of the random things about this weird disorder.
iykyk
I love that Greg + Alex wear matching socks every episode. Such an iconic duo
Do they really? That’s the best
Liza has been an absolute gem this season, she has made me smile every episode.
"Steady."
The story for adults genuinely cheered me up, I may be a scatter brained man who isn't very good at talking care of himself, but I did make some very good choices today.
Because I know you were wondering, chickens are actually omnivores. Alex Horne is also omnivorous, not a chicken, but he eats some bugs too. Only 2, per day, though.
But dont let this distract you from the fact that Jeffrey Epstien didnt kill himself
Alex Horne has also been known to catch and swallow mice whole

Liza's picture book was surprisingly beautiful.
I liked Alice's too except her idea was too ambitious and she ran out of time to keep decorating.
She drew the typefaces! How?!
Tim Vine immediately giving off Super-Villain vibes
And yet looks most like a baby out of all of them.
1:00 Absolutely! He looks as if he's about to leave you in a death trap, after revealing all the details to his sinister plan for world domination.
I was thinking more creepy uncle
It's striking to remember that he is genuinely Jeremy Vine's brother.
I have a feeling Bob Mortimer would just LOVE the piss water slide!
poor Alice; she started off great but is now getting basically last in everything
Well maybe if she put in even a modicum of effort...
Greg picks people to put in a certain role every season. It seemed he decided at some point she was the one who he was gonna be extra hard on. Someone else above mentioned she looks cute when she's miffed he doesn't like her tasks. He may have just picked up on something there.
@@8ellybelly8 Genuinely terrible performances, which is odd because ep1 of this season she was on fire.
@@8ellybelly8 If that's the persona Alice is meant to fill then that's disappointing and a bit condescending towards her tbh.

I'm really enjoying the little nicknames Alice gives Alex.
Russell using his sex appeal to gain an advantage on the last task.
I love how they keep introducing alex in more and more exaggerated ways
Technically Alex is creating more ways to use Alex....
Russell is really good at knowing his strengths. “Lemme just ask someone to help” technically, that’s fine!!! What a hufflepuff
Remember Taskmaster tasks are very specific about what you can and can't do. If the taskmaster task rules had indicated he couldn't use audience for help, he'd probably be dq'd.

My family came rushing in to see if I was alright becauae I laugh/screamed so loud at "shat himself inside out!"
I’m on my 3rd rewatch of all taskmaster seasons and I have to say that this show, truthfully, is the only show worth watching here in the USA. Love you guys! ❤
"he was very good at his job, but not very good at looking after himself"... How does she know me so well? I haven't even met her.
I like how at the pub, they have "hosted by Quizmaster Josh Widdicome"...so nice to see the student of tasks become the master of quiz :')
My boyfriend has a farm, I can confirm that chickens do eat meat... in fact, they even eat chicken.
I'm not really sure if there are many animals that are purely herbivores
Yes! Besides bugs and worms they hunt frogs and mice! It's freaky. They are little feathered velociraptors.
If only Russel had used the dryer instead.
What dryer?
Ross Linderman clothes dryer instead of the clothes washer
My thoughts exactly
My tumble drier changes direction every few minutes, so that would count as the end of the spin, I guess
I wondered if there was a fan anywhere in the whole house that someone could just turn on. There are definitely hair driers, as seen in previous episodes, which also have a spinning turbine component in them.
33:24 Tim... always with the perfect timing and delivery, and eternally underrated.
Hello Taskmaster, I just wanted to thank you for uploading this amazing show with your lovely British comedy on UA-cam so I can watch this. Especially since this show isn't broadcasted in my country.
Kind regards and greetings from the Netherlands.
Precies. :D
Over toffe series gesproken, ken je "Would I Lie To You?" al?

Sorry, couldn't resist. My daughter and I would play this when she was little and any animal was nearby, IRL or a picture of one. (not comparing anyone to an animal---it was just a game).
Asim: "I used to rap and shit, so, you know..."
I don't care if that was deliberate or accidental, but that was a splendid gag, under the circumstances. 😂
1)that "family portrait" was both incredibly wholesome and weirdly erotic
2) I thought Alice was gonna be the Psychopath in Episode one, but the Liza upped her game and - whoopsie daisy, here we go
3) Russell, "quick wash"? WHY????
To 3- That was my immediate response too, but he needed it to start the spin before 10 minutes was up, and he knew washers don’t only do spinning
Alice was robbed in the picture book task! In 1h she created something people would actually, unironically, buy in a store. She should have won that one
I thought the same. With more time and a real publisher, it could have been a true work of art.
Definitely feel like it would've got more points in a different season. Like if Sally Philips had presented something like that.
I really can’t describe how grateful I am to be able to binge all of these on UA-cam
Russell: This is called: Destiny
Me: Oh cool that's me
Russell: *reads*
Me: OH GOD NO PLEASE
I like how Russell looks like a budget Paddington Bear in the live challenge
I really enjoyed Liza's story... Alice's Abc's truly should have EFG for a title
A 6’8 welsh giant, Barcelonian Hercules and somebody’s STEM uncle does make for a weird family portrait
For the spin task, i would've spun Alex. If Greg disqualifies me, he' has to call Alex a person. Either he won't do that, or he'd make Alex's day. Win/Win
Between the title, baby food challenge, and Asim and Liza’s story this was a very fish forward episode lol
37:35 The joy on Alex's face improved my day
For anyone interested, chickens are not vegetarian. They will eat anything they can get down their throats. Including but not limited to frogs, lizards, leftover chicken and they love eggs. They are absolute primitive monsters, just small and adorable.

Nice theme, this one.
The final task was surprisingly hilarious thanks to all the bantering... and god, I watched Greg's yelping and everyone's reaction, especially including Alex' laugh, twice just because it was so out of nowhere, funny and somehow delightful
God bless this channel
Liza had such a comforting voice when ready her book. She would be amazing reading audiobooks.
I don't know why Alex saying "Hello, I'm coming at you live!" cracks me up so much 😂
Can we all take a moment to appreciate that Alice can genuinely draw?
If only this series had as many art tasks as series 4
Everybody boosting Tim up was so wholesome.
Russel seems to really love his Mom and I love him even more for it!
well his mom definitely did a good job raising him.
Asim indeed is a cultured man, as we learned from the last episode.
He knows all the sauces
Is anyone else wondering if Liza's story "He shat himself inside out" and Asim's puking and shitting story came about because of how much of the "baby food" Asim ate? Prawns were mentioned in both tasks after all
I appreciate you guys putting this show up on youtube for us all to enjoy, being a Brit in the US it's not always easy to see things from my homeland so its a nice surprise when a full show is put on youtube by the creators.
For the Make Something Spin challenge, my immediate thought was "Is there a fan anywhere in that house?"
Turn on the fan, walk away. It's spinning until the house loses power.
Great idea. So obvious now you've mentioned it. Never crossed my mind!
Alex being part of the cape revolution before it actually started is amazing
not gonna lie, Lisa's bedtime story for adults IS kinda comforting in a schadenfreudey way. being an adult sometimes feels like constantly overanalyzing your choices and sometimes it's just nice to be like, "yeah, you know what, at least I didn't eat an old prawn sandwich I left in the car for lunch"
When Greg yelped after asims story I'm glad I wasnt the only one caught off guard laughing, @alex
4:26 get yourself a partner that looks at you like Alice Levine looks at Asim Chaudhry decribing how he likes to go to "musseums and shit"
32:12 Vine's disgusted look when he mockingly repeats "well done" is a whole mood.
So far this show has taught me that all seemingly nice ladies are secretly psychopaths.
Rewatching the show and Sally and Lisa make me look at people differently lol.
Last every task... thats gotta be a record. At least there was no DQ and still gained points.
2nd last in the baby-food task, so that's something
The fact that i speak American English as a third language and still find this show funny ass hell and laugh non stop at all of the innuendo jokes makes this show bloody amazing
24:32 for everyone who wants to see the wholesome part of this episode again
I think Alex has not only lied about renting the cape but he still has it!
Russell is a gem. Ripping his own socks off and then roping in an audience member for help was my favorite part of this episode, just struck me as weirdly wholesome.
