Alex described this once as similar to a sitcom in the casting where you're learning who the characters are and how they interact with each other and the plot (/tasks) as you watch. So that makes sense.

I love Alice, and I'm absolutely rooting for her, but man if Lisa didn't win me over with that quip, and with how fucking delightful and happy she was during her walk in the Hat task. When she started talking about how lovely the tree was, I was sold.
It is really nice to watch something that's mentally engaging, because you interpret the task and think about how you'd do it, but also completely fucking absurd and not at all related to real world events

Yes! This film crew is pretty incredible. Their ability to stay hidden and what they do when contestants have to put a video together in stop motion or slow motion or that epic trailer Mel and Hugh made a couple seasons back! It’s nice to see the crew get a shout out.
Yeah! Part of the magic of this show is just how exquisite everything is around the chaos. Even or especially when it's completely ludicrous and goofy, the production value is on-point.
I ought to thank taskmaster. These full episodes have gotten me through a lot if things. My cat passed 2 months ago, and all that I watched was taskmaster. I remember getting really emotional in class, and the one thing I wanted was to go home and binge taskmaster. It sounds silly, that a silly little show helped me through a difficult time in life but it did, and I forever thank Greg Davies and Alex Horne. Rest in peace little boy
That Asim went into the cupboard thinking he might end up in Narnia really lends credence to the idea that Alex was serious about them having been drugged.
Alice handled the Hat task like a true Alice would - wondered around while being cutely lost, befriended some creatures, got some tea and was home right in time.
Laughed so hard when Alice's wheel barrow stunt was revealed. I was thinking "she can't be serious she is going to get hurt" when they showed us it was all hooked up. Alex's concern was great !
Alice is a quick favourite for me, she's hilarious and seems like she'll be great at tasks. Russel is quite funny too, and I'm sure the other three will grow on me as usual.

Season 4 and 5 were amazing because of the overall positivity Mel and Nish brought to the show, along with the chaos that everyone else brought. Let's see if this season does that as well

Not really, the first episode of Series 5 immediately slapped me in the face with the full-fledged glory of all five. Gonna miss them.

A lot of people seemed to find Nish annoying but watching someone enjoy themselves that much is better than most medications.

Plenty of liquid wo water, basically anything water at its melting point, molten iron, liquid nitrogen... even glass if you will are liquid and wo water.

The cigarettes I think are prop ones, I think there’s all sorts of rules about tobacco products on TV, so easier to use props. But the tattoo thing Isobel mentioned is true I’m afraid lol. he has like a lizard or something on his arm
I though the same thing but I recently watched an interview with Alex. He says he has a bucket for his cigarette butts by the side of the house that never gets filmed and he smokes 30 a day!
