This is nothing compared to the terrible ideas by Rhod Gilbert that they actually do allow in a later series.
It’s always odd seeing the first episode. You dont know any of them. Or what they are like. Sometimes I feel like they are inferior to the previous ones. Yet everytime as the series goes. I see their personalities and suddenly they are just as good. Once the series ends. I go back to the first episode and it feels like It was so different. Anyone else have this feeling?
You get more attached the contestants especially with more episodes. Now we are getting 10 per series, it going to be sad when this series is over.
Not really, the first episode of Series 5 immediately slapped me in the face with the full-fledged glory of all five. Gonna miss them.
If i remember, this season it seemed like a lot of them half-assed the tasks so i ended up skipping it
Alex described this once as similar to a sitcom in the casting where you're learning who the characters are and how they interact with each other and the plot (/tasks) as you watch.
So that makes sense.
This is the worst season imo, so don't get your hopes up. Shame too, because I quite like a few of the contestants from other things.

@@K.UA-cam2 and a video game. You don’t have to correct people when they simply aren’t referring to something you’re familiar with, there are probably things you don’t know. Yes, there is a wardrobe in a book that works that way but the reference to “video game logic” because of the multiple fast travel methods one can find throughout the gaming world, carries more weight than “fictional logic from that one book”.
They do an EXCELLENT job of hiding the camera and the camera men

Unless it's going to make a really good gag or if a contestant makes the crew interact with them, they really are very out of sight! it's a testament to their skill
Noticed that when Russell fell out of the wheelbarrow, no one was behind him, and the very next shot was him from behind saying "That's a stunt." Ninja level!
Yes! This film crew is pretty incredible. Their ability to stay hidden and what they do when contestants have to put a video together in stop motion or slow motion or that epic trailer Mel and Hugh made a couple seasons back! It’s nice to see the crew get a shout out.
Yeah! Part of the magic of this show is just how exquisite everything is around the chaos. Even or especially when it's completely ludicrous and goofy, the production value is on-point.

I'm rooting for Alice, she's clever. Although "why don't you ring your agent" from Lisa was hilarious!
I love Alice, and I'm absolutely rooting for her, but man if Lisa didn't win me over with that quip, and with how fucking delightful and happy she was during her walk in the Hat task. When she started talking about how lovely the tree was, I was sold.

These guys have been doing a great job of keeping people entertained during quarantine.
It is really nice to watch something that's mentally engaging, because you interpret the task and think about how you'd do it, but also completely fucking absurd and not at all related to real world events

You can find almost every full episode on Dailymotion in slightly lower quality (480P/720P), including the whole of season seven.
Alice is a quick favourite for me, she's hilarious and seems like she'll be great at tasks. Russel is quite funny too, and I'm sure the other three will grow on me as usual.

I ought to thank taskmaster. These full episodes have gotten me through a lot if things. My cat passed 2 months ago, and all that I watched was taskmaster. I remember getting really emotional in class, and the one thing I wanted was to go home and binge taskmaster. It sounds silly, that a silly little show helped me through a difficult time in life but it did, and I forever thank Greg Davies and Alex Horne. Rest in peace little boy

Throughout that task I was thinking, top and bottom the lemons and then built a base of lemons and start stacking on top of each other. The toothpicks I didn't even think of til they were shown.

Season 4 and 5 were amazing because of the overall positivity Mel and Nish brought to the show, along with the chaos that everyone else brought. Let's see if this season does that as well
A lot of people seemed to find Nish annoying but watching someone enjoy themselves that much is better than most medications.
Series 7 has been my favorite for that reason. There were a couple of very positive, happy contestants. I loved it.

The cigarettes I think are prop ones, I think there’s all sorts of rules about tobacco products on TV, so easier to use props. But the tattoo thing Isobel mentioned is true I’m afraid lol. he has like a lizard or something on his arm
I though the same thing but I recently watched an interview with Alex. He says he has a bucket for his cigarette butts by the side of the house that never gets filmed and he smokes 30 a day!

You might want to check some of Taskmaster contestants on WILTY while waiting for the next episodes. That's how I usually get to know them.

My guess is either issues with broadcasting rights, or they thought it’d be weird to have a Christmas special uploaded in May. I mean, not that it matters all that much since the past few series has been vaguely touching on the Brexit vote while/after it was happening a few years ago, but the former is probably the most likely

2 years late but there's a thing bugging me about the lemon task. They told them to build the highest tower, but still ruled Russels' as 11, even though that's its length, not its height

I think in certain other series with certain other people it _definitely_ would have happened.
I'm pretty sure that Russell Howard got shut down harder during the prize task than anyone on the show had since Tim Key tried to argue the definition of disappearance. (Only other contender is Lolly Adefope's beanbag.)
I am American (Texan) and stumbled upon taskmaster clips a few months ago. I binged so many clips before I found that they started posting the full episodes. Now I can't wait for new episodes each week, I love this show and always suggest it to friends!

It’s wonderful to watch these back. I’ve been bingeing Taskmaster for about 2 months now and ran out of episodes. So back I went. I forgot how simply brilliant some of these people are.
