    Now I have a GOOD question: is the klein replacement crimping dies that they sell on Amazon going to fit in the Doyle crimper? I'd love to find that out! Look forward to hearing back from you since my new job requires thousands of terminals!

      If the dies fit the KLEIN crimper in this video, then I would say yes they would work. I really believe this is the exact same tool just rebranded.

      @@MajorWeaknessCan you try swapping the die out, since you had both crimping tools? That’s what he was asking.

    Does anyone know if these would work on those aluminum wire Ferrells that except 8 inch wire?

      They are only designed to use standard insulated butt connectors

    Think I’m gonna go for the Doyle since they don’t require safety glasses 😂 I’ve been eyeing these and think I’ll pick em up when I get another coupon. $20 isn’t bad, I’m just the type of dude that hates paying full retail unless I have to.

    My whole crew loves harbor freight!!

    Harbor freight is like matco and snapon. They don't actually make any of their own tools and instead just buy Chinese tools and slap their name on them.
    Only difference is harbor freight doesn't spend a ton of money finding good tools in China and instead just finds the factory that's making good tools for other brands.
    I've never understood the hate harbor freight gets since I could always find the same tool for way more money somewhere else and harbor freights lifetime warranty is so convenient.

      Nonsence.. if it says made in usa its made in usa... yes they rebrand alot this is true but they are open about were each product is from..

    • @zoomzoom8704
      @zoomzoom8704 Рік тому

      @@WHATDATTOOLDO as someone who's worked in manufacturing, a Chinese made Jack with the handle "installed" here can get a USA sticker slapped on it.
      Regardless, just like the Daytona Jack and earthquake impact (both of which snap-on lost lawsuits over because it was the same tool not just comparable for one tenth the price) Even if it's not "made" in China and instead reboxed in the USA, it is usually a Chinese design by a Chinese company made to Chinese quality standards like an iPhone

    • @WHATDATTOOLDO
      @WHATDATTOOLDO Рік тому +1

      @zoomzoom8704 im pretty sure they have strict rules about this and a certain percentage of it has to be made in the usa to have a usa stamp... thats why we have "assembled in usa" "made in usa with global materials " they cant even say just made in the usa if they make the whole tool here and metal comes from china... snap on has manufacturers there own hand tools in the usa its just a fact the stuff they rebrand like knipex pliers ect ect.. they are open and honest its not made in the usa..
