      That's super exciting Anya! Not sure if you have trained with an experienced teacher before, I wouldnt recommend it to try on your own but I am noticing some might not have an aerial studio in your aerial. With this in mind I am going to make a video soon with basic safety tips for those who are starting on their own. Hope you stay safe in your practice =)

      Wow! That is amazing Eri. The 12 week program helped us to get our lazy ass to be serious about putting in the work too! Can't wait to start again next friday (even though I also wish we can just be lazy haha)...

    I wish I could say this was helpful because it seems really great, but it was very hard for me to understand. More detailed instruction might help. I’m going to keep trying, maybe one day I’ll get it

    Im having difficulty pulling the fabric up my leg just before leaning in
    :( any tips?

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  3 роки тому +1

      Conditioning!!! I am reworking on my hip lock too after doing the 10 DAYS workout challenge. I feel much more control now that my legs are stronger. Give those exercises a try!

    • @laurenbarker1695
      @laurenbarker1695 3 роки тому +2

      I find it helpful to think about pushing the toes of my hooked leg toward the ground when I’m straightening the leg. It’s much harder to straighten the leg first and then push down because the fabric doesn’t slide up as easily.

    Any tips for keeping still while having legs sideways before you do a hiplock? Whenever I get into position I always spin everywhere 😩 can’t hold still enough to turn properly

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  3 роки тому

      Sounds like you are using a single point to hang your hammock. Do you use a swivel? it is indeed challenging when it starts spinning.
