    KEEP GOING!:
    I practiced on my new hammock for the first time yesterday. Naturally I did majority of these moves and I was shocked. I have no prior experience just minimal pole training. You definitely utilize all of your muscle groups and it makes you more aware of your body placement. If you aren’t already practicing yoga, workouts, or any sort of conditioning START NOW. It’s not for the weak and you will be uncomfortable I’m telling you. I almost cut off circulation to my legs while attempting a drop because I underestimated how much upper body and core strength was required. 😂😂😂 Have fun, be careful

      Hi Yasily, Absolutely NOT. I have seen really curvy girls in classes too, I have also practiced duo hoop before. Aerial setup is meant to carry around 2000lb, of course the exact number differs per set up.

    Hello!! Love you videos! I've been watching lots of aerial practice with hammocks and I noticed that there are two types of hammocks. Do you know if I can do the same tricks you show in this video with a hammock with slings?? Thank you so much!

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 роки тому +1

      Absolutely. I like to think of hammock tricks as the basic of slings. Once I get a hang of a trick, I will always try it with spinning. The only problem is I practice in a low ceiling environment so i have to adjust to the limitation.

    Every time I try to do the first sitting position it pinches the inside of my knees really bad and I have bruises now. Just something to get used to or am I doing something wrong?

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 роки тому

      It is hard for me to tell this way. Personally I don't have knee pain from the first sitting position. I got bruises from wrapping around the thighs at the beginning, which I got used to after a few lessons. The problem is once I got to use wrapping with one leg, I was avoiding to practice the other leg. Now with my song routine I am really pushing for both sides practice so I am seeing more bruises on my left (weaker) leg, while no pain or bruise on my stronger leg. If your issue persists, I would recommend to stop practicing and seek professional medicine advice. It's better be safe! Hope this helps!

      Not the same. Dance is dance, yoga is yoga. They both have their pros and cons. Dance is more about expressing yourself, with aerial dance it may require more power than other forms of dances.
