That tip about trying to kick the poll seems super helpful! I just started trying to learn the hip lock and it's so frustrating! You're video was super helpful in breaking down all the steps involved. I can't wait to get back to my aerial class and try it out again!
Thank you so much for creating this video, the hip key is my Achilles heel and I'll take any tips and help I can get. Love your videos, especially your silks videos❤🌼🙏🌼🌸💐
Hi, thank you! I started aerial when I was 21 (I'm 28 now), I have done some public performances in the past but it isn't where my passion lies. I teach for between 15 and 30 hours a week, usually 5 or 6 hours a day. I train aerial for around 2 hours a couple of times a week if I have time :)
Hey, I love your videos. I am trying to get silks in my back yard but I am having trouble with measurements. What would you recommend for the height of a stand.( I am a beginner and I love to do all of the drops. I am planning a n getting really good at the silks to.)
Thank you for breaking it down like this! Incredibly helpful. I feel like I now have actionable step-by-step practices to strengthen and build up to it!! 🙏🧡
OMG!!! I've watched other tutorials on this and COULD NOT do it. I just did it 4 times on both sides!!! Thank you!!!!

I hope there's something in there that can help! It's such a frustrating move to learn, there are so many individual elements to it!
Amazing! I have been in aerial for almost 2 years and finally hip lock makes sense! Thank you!
I’ve seen many of these hip lock tutorials but this one’s the best, thank you!
Thanks so much for the description and the prep moves to build up to it! Can't wait to get back to the studio.

Hello nice video but i was wondering where your mattress is from
and how much did it cost? And can you use a normal sleeping mattress?
Hi the brand is Blitzsport and I think it was around £500. It's not recommended to use a mattress as they're not made out of the right material :)
Great Video 👍🏿 Loved it
Really helpful tutorial, thanks!

A 15ft or so would do the trick. Sorry I’m quite late
