Godzilla 2014 5/10 Kong skull island 8/10 King of the monsters 7/10 Godzilla vs Kong 9/10 The monsters are clearly the main attraction to this series and I love it they just need to improve on the human story and less cutting to the aftermath looking at you 2014 and less night fights or rain. Though I understand why it happened in king of the monsters ghidorah was screwing up the planet the more he flies. I hope we'll see his older sibling if legendary decides to continue the monsterverse I wanna see how bad this other ghidorah is. I like this version but now knowing another ghidorah is out there but worst i wanna see that. The reason why mothra is so small is that's how nature made her that way same for all the other monsters you need to accept that. This universe gave them different origins but kept them who they are Kong living on a island fighting for his life Godzilla feeds off of radiation and fighting to be king Mothra guardian of earth Rodan born from a volcano They still kept elements of the characters intact so I don't know why your so upset. Same for this series mostly Godzilla 2014 for being "realistic" nothing about this series is realistic. 39:49 wrong it's queen muto aka barb muto prime is dead. 34:55 the axe was thrown out of his hand after they collided and it was out of power so it won't work. Plus Godzilla knows how the axe works and he won't shoot at it. 36:13 OMG let it go. This movie only did it as a recap let the audience know what happened so far it's not a bad thing. Same for king of the monsters. 37:24 that makes sense there were no other mutos around it just saw Godzilla kill ghidorah and Godzilla is bigger and stronger then her so she had to bow to him. It's not hard to understand. Maybe if you stop bashing king of the monsters so much you'll understand what it's trying to say

Blame the writers and the director for creating a bad movie that downplays and poorly portrays Kong and resulting in a total anticlimax... Man what a MASSIVE disappointment... Also, let's not overhype it's "success" as it's not really that impressive. I'm not sure you were very self-aware this time around either my man. Let it settle for another year or two and then let me know what you really think. DO NOT WATCH IT! -.-
I agree they downplayed Kong and poorly portrayed him. But there is no denying the film grossing $400 million in a pandemic is undoubtedly a success. I think the VFX, fight scenes (despite Kong getting downplayed), and music are all top notch. Story and characters are a vast improvement over KOTM. But I do hold the film downplaying Kong against it, 100%.
@@KingKong19100 I completely agree! There is an amazing movie in there somewhere, it has the potential and components for it, it just needed the time and effort and right mind to produce it. It's just a shame that one can't fully enjoy it and instead is left with a ruined experience because they messed up one of the most important aspects of the film concerning the portrayal of its two star characters. Sure, in context of pandemic releases it can be viewed as relatively successful, but it's still not that impressive, especially not as some people make it out to be. A lot of the time the hype for its success feels a bit exaggerated. I could imagine the movie making 2014 or 2017 numbers though.

I think Dorgherty has the potential to make a good kaiju movie. He just went a bit too far with king of the monsters with the fan service
I don't think he does. The fights and monster action is bad and the story is bad as well.
