You're right about decreasing revenue. Mine dropped over 50% last year with no rebound, after years of slow growth. YT Partner chat-help just regurgitated the line about focusing on content etc...
Yeah, it’s fucking bullshit. I wish I could move to another platform because I would in a heartbeat. Especially since I have no intentions on ever monetizing anything here. Sadly anywhere else just doesn’t have the user base. It took me over a decade to get the 1k subs I have now, and starting over on another platform with my shitty content it would probably never happen.
You have a sizable amount of subs as well. I hate seeing content creators get actively punished for BS reasons.
Wouldn’t be much of a surprise if it’s the algorithm. Also can’t stand with the way with UA-cam is laid out with the comments section on my iPad. The comments used to be below the video and now they are off to the side which makes it difficult to read comments at times, or rather read through comments fairly quickly.
Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised either. As for the other thing, I cannot speak to that. I use a real computer running the desktop version exclusively; luckily it still has roughly the same layout. It would be quite annoying if they changed that though.
A useless feature they rolled out on mobile was moving the account menu to the bottom. I liked it next to the search because it was convenient and made sense.
Yeah UA-cam sucks. I am so close to saying screw it and leave this fucking shit behind.
Ads on YT just suck. Obvious scams and stuff regarding government money.
Yeah, it seems to be getting worse as well. Quite annoying; especially with how UA-cam acts all morally correct and family friendly. It only applies to people who aren't making them money I guess.
