I really liked the way he moderated this time around. He really kept them focused on the topic at hand, didn’t let disrespect slide, allowed a everyone to get their point through, and somehow managed to keep both sides calm. Great job.
Can agree. I mostly disagreed a lot with what one side was saying, but there were times when the side I mostly agreed with was getting close to that disrespectful area, and he made sure to kinda bring them back. Moderators did great.

The issue is not whether we acknowledge that developing countries/nations exist, the issue is that "3rd world" as a term is not used in professional settings anymore, developing nations is. Exactly, i have been waiting a year for my wife's visa and it has gotten delayed multiple times. Now she is 6 months pregnant and we are told that we dont qualify for expedited processing and probably have to wait another 6 months to a year.

What that means is that i got to the border and I asked for asylum before i crossed the border, i did not commit a crime, they could have said no and i would have had to go back. People now cross the border illegally and then turn themselve in to the border patrols and then they ask for asylum. Those people commited a crime, they illegaly got into the country

This moderator had me pleasantly surprised. He moderated well and when things got out of control, he swept in and put everyone back on track. And especially when he asked the question if anyone agreed that there were extreme people on their side. The progressive side gave what he deemed to be a disingenuous answer and he called them out for it, rightfully so.

What concerns me is no longer who gets in office, what truly concerns me is the dynamic in which (the majority) of these people are treating one another. We've all had different upbringings, experiences, and perspectives. We've all fallen victim to political lies at some point, and truly, to believe solely in one candidate, is concerning. At the end of the day, we have to care care of one another, and understand it's our differences in perspectives and experiences that is what should be treated like gold. If that “someone” is an American citizen and has been disabled their whole life, I believe most would qualify this said individual as someone who may never have the ability to contribute and I hold grace for others with similar reasoning etc.. 2) I understand when this was said she was speaking about undocumented immigrants. Study authors also found that undocumented immigrants would contribute $40.2 billion more per year in federal, state and local taxes if all of the undocumented population had access to work authorization. So with temp jobs etc, they play a huge factor in our economy. 3) we should absolutely do better with “who” we admit into the USA. 4) Americans should be on our priority list, especially our vets. This moderator had me pleasantly surprised. He moderated well and when things got out of control, he swept in and put everyone back on track.
And especially when he asked the question if anyone agreed that there were extreme people on their side. The progressive side gave what he deemed to be a disingenuous answer and he called them out for it, rightfully so.

We've all had different upbringings, experiences, and perspectives. We've all fallen victim to political lies at some point, and truly, to believe solely in one candidate, is concerning. At the end of the day, we have to care care of one another, and understand it's our differences in perspectives and experiences that is what should be treated like gold. 1) I’m thinking with an open mind so bear with me. If that “someone” is an American citizen and has been disabled their whole life, I believe most would qualify this said individual as someone who may never have the ability to contribute and I hold grace for others with similar reasoning etc..
2) I understand when this was said she was speaking about undocumented immigrants. Study authors also found that undocumented immigrants would contribute $40.2 billion more per year in federal, state and local taxes if all of the undocumented population had access to work authorization. So with temp jobs etc, they play a huge factor in our economy.
3) we should absolutely do better with “who” we admit into the USA. 4) Americans should be on our priority list, especially our vets.
