Im not a huge politics guy. But i found it odd how she put a threshold to what facilitates the term "genocide". As she said, Jews in Germany lost essentially 6 mil of their ethnic population. Which was a 60% diminish. Why would any other tragedy not be considered a genocide just because it didn't reach the 6 million threshold? That's wack. I would say the threshold to delegate the term genocide is relative to a populations' size internally. If a population of 1,000 lost 600, would we call it genocide, or would we call it a massacre because it doesn't reach the 6 million mark?

SHEILA: NO IM SPEAKING IM SPEAKING NOW
EVAN: *starts to talk*
SHEILA: *IMMEDIATELY INTERRUPTS*
Reminds me of Maren in the Charlie Kirk video, where she says, "No, I'm speaking" way too many times.
They both got their opening statements without interruption - then it opens up to open discussion where interruptions are allowed if they are relevant and addressing the points being discussed.
Sheila was rude and interrupting later on, though, specifically to the lady that said she had one jewish friend who said jewish people were taught to hate palestinians at a young age. Unfortunately, Sheila should've said that shouldn't be a thing either, and both sides should not be taught to hate - an excellent spot to find middle ground that she just ignored because her own experience makes her think that the lady's friend's complaints are invalid.
A very spoiled girl indeed
@@JozeManuLOL How can someone who has escaped from her own country just to survive because of her ethnicity and religion is spoiled? I'm not defending how she acted back then but I get that she was angry at the Arab guy disrespecting her, still she should have controlled herself and not taken it on the other girl.
I thought she spoke quite eloquently and I think it's sad people get upset over a female who is eloquent and knows a lot.
the fact that Sheila told Evan “she was talking” when he interrupted her and then proceeded to interrupt every single person who talked
Because that was not a middle ground debate, I was a different segment no?
@@niccolopaganini1782 No it was a middle ground debate.
Shelia was outta line and emotional. Kick her and anyone out next time
@gavinmead6282
I was disappointed when she started doing that. She definitely had a lot of first hand knowledge on the subject, almost all of which was proven true per the fact checks. I agreed with what she was saying too, but when it wasn’t her turn and the interruptions wouldn’t stop, well, even I was ready for her to be quiet atp.

Alissa is trans, a victim of receiving gender affirming care as a minor (child) is literally studying to become a psychiatrist (a medical doctor specializing in mental health) and they still chose Jaylen to represent them for being Gen Z, damn
Uhmmm, okay? So what?
I think they chose the one option out of the three that wasn’t trans because, well, he’s not trans. Not gonna say this as a qualifying statement for all conservatives but many of them do not support trans people as a whole, or generally have a bit of negative bias against them and likely rather would’ve had the gay guy talk than the trans women.
They chose Jaylen because Republicans will platform anyone willing to weaponize hate for to conform to their simple and fundamentalist world view.
Because conservatives hate and deny the existence of trans people…they would rather have a gay guy on stage because they don’t wanna listen to a trans person speak 😭 it’s actually really sad

Shelia wasn’t there for a middle ground at all and was super disrespectful. Please don’t have her back again for any videos.
To be fair, neither was Evan. When you're trying to find middle ground with someone, you don't immediately bombard with a preprepared laundry list of half truths. I do agree Sheila was extremely unqualified.
yeah there was a couple of those on both sides but sheila was definitely the worst. I wish they would chose their debaters a little more carefully
she was willing to find a middle ground unlike the arab who refused to have a conventional. You don't make sense.
@@Markforever47 yeah he shouldn’t be invited back again either, he was extremely emotional and always spoke from emotion instead of logic

This format is a LOT better. You actually get to a final statement both sides agree on which should be the point
