Reilly and Mackenzie (the Hound + Fox) have been friends and colleagues in the extended Home Free family for many years, and have a huge following of their own. I love them as a duet, and equally love them collaborating with other artists. Immediately after finishing the "Wayfaring Stranger", they simply turned around and sang a beautiful version of "The Sound of Silence." You should give that one a listen too. You may have read that Austin Brown high tenor with Home Free is leaving later this year, he has been with the group for 12 years and will be sorely missed. Been mentioned that there will be a replacement…😢…..love Adam Chance, when you have time listen to “ Song For Home” he wrote and sang.

I really enjoy "The Hound & The Fox's music. They've done a lot of collaborations with different members of Home Free & other artists. Their voices really suit the older folk style of songs & Chance blends well with them. This is a very old song that has been covered by many famous artists such as Burl Ives, Emmylou Harris & Johnny Cash.
Adam Chance has such a mellow voice and the husband and wife duo of the hound and the fox are fantastic as well. They are featured as a cameo in home freeze Grandma got run over by a reindeer Video. Thank you for reacting to this one. It is a bittersweet day in the Home Free community with the news about Austin Brown leaving in the fall to pursue creative interests. It will be fun to watch what he does and exciting for the group to make another change. Adam Chance was the last cast change in HF and he has been a good addition.
My Mom used to tell me that a tree had to live through some tough weather to get strong. If we never face adversity, then we can never truly know how strong we can become. I always believed it is easiest to see the silver lining when there are storm clouds to show it off.

This is so reminiscent of Peter, Paul and Mary from the late 60s. Their voices work so well together. They have done quite a few collaborations, including a very unexpected cover of My Mother Told Me.
The most gorgeous rendition I've ever heard of this song. Chance, The Hound & The Fox sound so good together. They also have an outstanding cover of "Sound of Silence" and "A Whistling Lad". Very good how they did that. Adam Chance's voice which is perfect for this song. The voices of the Hound + The Fox that go so well with it. There's something mysterious about it. A song on my playlist.

I have only learned that now as well. But you are right sometimes change is needed, and sometimes it's really hard, but it can be great as well.
