Asking questions that other people say is inappropriate, these things must be challenged. We've all had seasons of bad luck good luck. Up's and downs. When people say you can't say this or that. The guy who played Uncle Remus on Song of The South won an Oscar for his performance. Did anyone ever tell you that he did? Starring with Hattie McDaniels in the same movie. Slavery was a hideous time in America, but guess what? Like all places our nation grew adapted and evolved into having a black President. From slavery to President. People change and so do other things. Political leaders aren't about finding complete answers it's always about them staying in power.
White guys always say shit like this like it really means something and minimizes real racism in order to feel comfortable. It weird and goofy. It's not the differences that are the issue. Its the treating people different based on those differencss that is prevalent in society
@Porn Shatwood that's not necessarily marxism. It could be cognitive dissonance towards racism or passive racism. Besides Marxism doesn't deny differences. It just seeks to ascribe limits based on those differences
I learned a lot (in an exaggerated sense) about the different experience that a lot of black people were exposed to from listening to Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, D.L. Hughley, Chris Rock etc. there is no way to understand each other without communication, and comedy toes that line and makes you think, and if you think hard enough, grow.

I'm 51 and I had an eye opening event when I was 18. I grew up in the suburbs, central Calif. After high school I drove with my mother across country - coast to coast and we spent some time in Washington D.C. We had booked a hotel by phone and didn't know where it was in D.C. Now D.C. is, or was, highly segregated and our hotel was in an all black community. Every car, every shop, every pedestrian - not a single person who looked like me. I've never felt so spot lighted in my life. Don't get me wrong, I didn't feel scared or threatened, just uncomfortable. It was weird and I've never forgot that feeling when I hear other races talk about being in a sea of white faces. No one hassled us, they're just folks trying to get through their day like everyone else. A very nice lady showed my mom and I how to get our subway passes and what trains to take to the Smithsonian. Even the smallest taste of what it can be like in anothers shoes can stick with you for life.
We had a similar experience in Pasadena California. A number of years ago we went to see a movie called Barber Shop. We were the only white people in the theater. It felt uncomfortable, but no one bothered us and the movie was pretty funny.
My first two years of high school, I went to a large school that only had like maybe 10 or 20 black people out of thousands. It didn't even faze me at the time, I didn't think anything of it, but now I think about that a lot, and how that might have made them feel.

One month I had a Greyhound Bus Pass so got to experience the armed security guard at the Bus Stop and at the local grocery store (never happens in Australia) but I met many African Americans on the buses and as long as soon as they stopped laughing at my accent we got along fine. The closet I got to a Bill Burr feeling was in LA. I like to walk/explore streets at night and walked a couple of streets away from the Famous Chinese place downtown. This is a genuine reaction video to a Bill Burr bit about race. (he performed this in front of an all black crowd and everybody was rolling btw) I’m Asian and I wish he would do more on the Asian population, it would be an honor. I grew up around white friends so there was always an expectation to laugh whenever jokes about Asians arose to prove I wasn’t without a sense of humor. Which was always uncomfortable because most of the times it wasn’t funny or original at all. But when I was by myself and watched certain comics like Dave Atell, Chapelle, Kyle kinane cracking on Asians I’m always lmao because they actually are creative in their art craft and it comes from “pure” humor.

Being Canadian and having grown up in Alberta, I always wanted to go to New York. It took me 41 years to get there and I loved NYC! On the way to JFK Airport my cab driver got lost in Harlem. Even though I was in a cab, I think Bill Burr described that situation quite well.
Yessssss! Another wish granted!!! I asked for this around 30 minutes ago- Let’s jump right in- sooo ready! What about Zack Rushing and the cook out and fish fry for the bros ??😂

You guys just did SOOOO much for racial tolerance with this video and your reactions than all the politicians in the world could. You are reacting like we real folks do-good people are all the same. Skin color is not a thing-at all. (And I’m a 60 year old whiter than white chick in Oklahoma!) 😝 Bless you. This video did my heart good! ❤️💕
Yep I remember when I was 20 I moved from Cincinnati to Berkeley California. Walking around for the first time was so weird. No trash on the ground, everything looks clean, people would acknowledge me on the street cheerfully.. me being from a low income area it felt like stepping into the Twilight Zone lol.
This the type of dude that legit bring us all together. I don't wanna come off as one of those people but legit, me and my girl both love him and she beautifully black and im white as snow haha. The media did some weird shit. Time we ended this. Nth but love for this channel.
I was remembering back to the early seventies when I was the only white guy in a very well known jazz group. We recorded in Hollywood but all of their parties were in Compton. I was dating a black girl back then and that's where she lived too! I completely related. LOL. When they said hey let's make a run to the liquor store I hopped in the car with a few guys and they had to leave three guys in the car with me so nobody would hassle me. It's too bad we have so many racial issues today. Even though there were a few different neighborhoods I think we got along a heck of a lot better than the media is trying to push today. They were my friends and they treated me really well. All were famous (in the music business) guys and they couldn't have been nicer people. We had a blast in those days. I wonder if we could do similar things now with all the hype and media BS.
Bruh you can’t say things are better now when you’re not black and haven’t experienced the same racism they’ve faced for years in this country- just cause you grew up in a black community doesn’t automatically means racism doesn’t exist and still isn’t prevalent in society.
I grew up in middle Wisconsin, town of 3500 . Then moved to Milwaukee. Lived on North n Cambridge. One night I went for a walk, turned left. Went over the N. St brigde and kept walking for about 6 to 7 blocks. It's now 130 am , and I release I not not in Kansas anymore. Come tp.find out at work the next day, the bridge was kinda of a birder of the neighborhood. My co workers, said I you stupid, don't come in our neighborhood at 2 o'clock in the morning by yourself. 19 then. And learning. It always amazed me how in one direction you went . It was all this color. And then other way. So yea there is a problem . But bill burr says it the way it is. Funny as hell too
I love this Bill Burr bit, and for some reason, love seeing people react to it. As the eldest of 4 (I have 3 younger bros), I also love how you trapped your own little bros into partaking. Pausing the video halfway through to explain something completely unnecessary, was some real "eldest" shit. I'm working on not doing stuff like that to my siblings now that I'm 40, ha, and they have made it quite clear that it bugs them.
Man streets don’t have to be numbered to scare you. I was hanging out in LA and was going to head to an old school friends house. Now I was out by LAX and needed to go to Azusa so I turn on the map app on my phone and as I’m driving it says “in five miles turn left on Crenshaw”. I was like “OH F**K NO IM NOT TURNING ANY WHICH WAY ON NO CRENSHAW!” I took the first turn I could until that gave me a new route that didn’t include Crenshaw, Normandy, or MLK. Reginald Denny got his a** kicked driving a semi and I’m just in a small SUV.
If I HAD to choose one of those three I'd it would be Crenshaw. But..LAX to Azusa? 105 E to 605 N to 210 E is how you get to Azusa. No surface street or map app necessary.
Reginald Denny was also attacked during the LA Riots in 1992. When the streets were flooded with angry, violent people and helicopters were scanning the whole city. If you're STILL scared to drive through Crenshaw just once, that's you're problem not the City's. And frankly, Reginald was ignorant for getting himself in that situation. I implore you to watch Bill Hicks' bit on the LA Riots and Reginald Denny
This is funny. I'm a white guy married to a black woman and live in one of those "mixed race" neighborhoods of Boston. Before I went to nursing school, I took my prerequisites at Roxbury Community College in one of the blackest neighborhoods of Boston and was literally the only white guy in all of my classes (though, to be fair, there were the occasional white women, but not many). I'm actually more comfortable being the only white guy in a crowd of black people than I am being in a totally white crowd. However, I wasn't always this way, coming from the suburbs and the country, it took time and an open mind for me to come full circle.

All 4 of you guys are awesome. Love from Tasmania. Bill is the man.
I believe I've watched this before but I can't remember and I'm rewatching it because this is my favorite Bill Burr clip and you guys are really enjoying it he is so amazing and he's so intelligent you can't help but understand what he's saying😊😊😊
I've seen this bit a dozen times (easily), but I had so much fun watching you guys react to it. My face hurts from smiling. You three are amazing and cool. Peace.
Awwww- ☹️I was soooo excited for another! Well, grateful for what we got! GREAT! Loved them all!! 💙😘👍✌️
I love seeing the Griffin boys together doing reaction vids!
I just noticed how many views and likes this vid has. Apparently, I am not alone!! Congrats Jamal, and in a few months time too.
Being Canadian and having grown up in Alberta, I always wanted to go to New York. It took me 41 years to get there and I loved NYC! On the way to JFK Airport my cab driver got lost in Harlem. Even though I was in a cab, I think Bill Burr described that situation quite well.
Bill is a beast. I’ve been watching him since the 90s.
Love seeing y’all enjoy his skits. His podcast is basically him practicing his stand up while talking about his everyday life
Oh man, hanging out and laughing with your brothers. Does life get any better? I love it! Reminds me of me and my brothers. Great video dude. 🤣
This is how I was raised.
Everybody just getting along.
Laughing at everything was O.K.
Damn shame those days are gone. ✌️
You said it! I miss those days! There are still some good ones left in the world- like us enjoying this video! Have a wonderful day! 😊
Im from the uk and Bill Burr is the man, best comedian right now
Bill Burr is the best there is. He has no filters and says what we all think and makes it hysterical and that helps us all.
That line about "the corner of Malcolm X and Danny Glover" killed you so hard, lol :-D
It's cool that these guys can laugh and just have a sense a humor about it. It's all jokes and sometimes there is a nugget of truth.
Yessssss! Another wish granted!!! I asked for this around 30 minutes ago- Let’s jump right in- sooo ready! What about Zack Rushing and the cook out and fish fry for the bros ??😂
I was going to but we were getting tired and I had to drive back home next time for sure
YES!!! That's going to be the best react video his brothers ever do.
Yes. That's a good one and Gift Basket.
@@jamelakajamal ok- gotcha! Understandable- Maybe y’all can do it again soon- cannot wait to meet the Mama of you fantastic men!! ❤️💙❤️💙❤️👍✌️
Bill Burr. The man. The comedian. The legend!
Awesome...the Griffin brothers are fantastic and Bill Burr was hysterical
Bill Burr real deal legend
This is gold. Love your reactions, you pick the best of the best to react to. Thanks for this morning's laugh too 😂🤣👏👍
Truly enjoyed your reactions with your little brothers/body guards and couldn't help thinking "What was your Mom feeding y'all?" But seriously, it's good to see the brotherly love and three giants just having fun! Next I want to see you all do a dance off!
Forward this to Bill. love your suburb analogy
Bill Burr spits facts!
I agree with y’all 100%
Haven’t even watched, but the thumbnail is EVERYTHING!
🤣🤣🤣
Everything.🥰💯
I swear I’ve watched reactions of this skit so many times, but the thumbnail got me, I was like ole dude is slumped over the arm of the coach, the others hands are up in the air, quality extraness of black people laughing *click* 😂🤣
Hey I've seen you before
You guys just did SOOOO much for racial tolerance with this video and your reactions than all the politicians in the world could.
I love that YT brought me here! Will be checking out their music reactions too. LOVE THAT HAT!! Must have one.
Love your brothers! They are adorbs
This the type of dude that legit bring us all together. I don't wanna come off as one of those people but legit, me and my girl both love him and she beautifully black and im white as snow haha. The media did some weird shit. Time we ended this. Nth but love for this channel.
We don’t want to come together with you and Shame on her for being with you
Little brothers. Lol. It’s like me at 5’10 and my “little sisters” who are 5’11 & 6’. Lmao. Some big boys laughing to the best comedian. 💜😂😂
It’s better now
Bruh you can’t say things are better now when you’re not black and haven’t experienced the same racism they’ve faced for years in this country- just cause you grew up in a black community doesn’t automatically means racism doesn’t exist and still isn’t prevalent in society.
Funny as hell too
Love the jay and silent bob shirt. That's a blast back from my childhood.
You three have magic!! Hope you do more reactions in the future 🙏
Im dying yall look like the three sons in 'Me, Myself and Irene' sitting together like that on the couch.
Awesome Jay and Silent Bob T-Shirt. Great video, Bill is one funny man.
Yo, this country needs so much more of this right now. Ty
Loving the Jay and Silent Bob t-shirt...
Little Brother Quintelle, LOVING your shirt my man.
Came here just to say that. Biggity Bam.
Same, I haven't even watched the video yet. I was so gleeful about Quintelle's shirt, I came right to the comments first.
Nice Jay and Silent Bob shirt, nooch!
Snooch.
I really liked you explaining the different neighborhood perspective.
I’m really enjoying seeing the 3 men enjoying the humor
Well I lived up in the Central Valley and had never been to Azusa so I wasn’t sure.
Don’t need to as I watched it all unfold as it happened. I know that story, I was simply making a joke.
Reginald Denny didn't lock his door. That's what he did wrong.
This is how we make it through and don't turn on each other
This is funny.
He reverse it so smooth and brief...he left me wanting more.
