@flyingburritobro68 I really like both versions but I’ll have to say MH’s version is incredible, allman’s is great but a little on the jazzy side , my opinion. 🤘🏼💀🤘🏼

Molly Hatchet's most underplayed and underrated song is by far "Fall of the Peacemakers". Great lyrics and a great 4 man guitar session. 1983 I believe. 🤔

Back in '95 I was working at an auto parts store in Idaho Fall ID when a man came in for an alternator for his 350 Chevy truck. We got talking about the music on the radio & my interest in being a songwriter. He warned me away from the music biz & told me he had been in a well known band but blew all his money. When I asked him what band & he said "Molly Hatchet" my jaw dropped to the floor. Over the next year he invited me to write with him twice & we wrote 4 songs together. They were an amazing band and, from what I experienced, at least one member was just a really friendly & humble guy.
I usually don't like covers as well as the original, but Molly Hatchet does a great job of making the Allman Brothers classic even more interesting. Nice job.
There is a live version of this song in Los Angeles and it rolls right into flirting with disaster. He really let his voice go in that one. You can just feel it when he singing it live.
This is actually a cover/reworking of The Allman Brothers song "Dreams", this one has elaborated on the lyrics some. The original meanders a bit more, it was always meant to honor the Allman's jazz and blues influences.
Burrow and Chase brought the "Eye Of The Tiger" to the Queen City from the Bayou!! Long Super Bowl rings are coming to Cincinnati! I'm just hoping they face Philadelphia. San Francisco has been the Bengals nemesis! Otherwise, we would have 2 rings already.
I know others are going to make great recommendations for Molly Hatchett, so I'm going to leave that to them. Certainly an underrated band though. However, having heard this one, you really need to react to The Outlaws - Green Grass and High Tides Forever. Well worth your time!
Wow this was amazing! I've heard of Molly Hatchet, but honestly hadn't heard a single song of theirs, or if I had, didn't know the band. Wow this is a vibe!
One of my all-time favorites... released when I was in college. I like the ABB original, too... but this is one of those rare covers that transcends the original, IMHO. When it comes up in one of my playlists it invariably gets repeated a few times, especially if I'm driving alone and can really crank it up.
Got to meet Molly Hatchet back in 1990. They played a show at the Circle K in Rockford Illinois. My friend Lisa and I got to go backstage ,on the tour bus and hang out behind the scenes. Danny Joe Brown was awesome as we're the rest of the band. Danny was always my favorite may he R.I.P.
This band had 3 lead guitarists, Dave Hlubek, Dwayne Roland, and Steve Holland. 3 amazing players. 3 different playing styles as you heard in the solos.
This is one of the greatest cover songs of all time. Now you need to check out the original by the Allman Brothers Band - this is a completely different take on that song! While you're at it, go back to Molly Hatchet for a tune called "Gator Country," where they proudly rep their home state of Florida while simultaneously crapping on other states that other southern rock bands come from. It's as close to a southern rock diss track as I've ever heard before. LOL
Gator Country is so much fun! It's tongue-in-cheek mapping of the great southern boogie bands is rivaled only by the Outlaws memorial to those who had passed, Southern Rock Will Never Die. Gator Country also fits in an interesting network of songs that are all tied together in the "Sweet Home Alabama" family. Starting with Alabama and Southern Man, the Neil Young songs that prompted Skynyrd's writing of Sweet Home Alabama, through Warren Zevon's Play it All Night Long, to Kid Rock's All Summer Long to Hatchet's Gator Country; all are interconnected. And yes, the two versions of this song, Dreams I'll Never See, are both incredible and so dramatically different they make a great study in stylistic differences in music.
This is my favorite Molley Hatchet song and one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. These guys didn’t get as much attention as they deserved because of who they were compared to and competing with at that time and that’s a damn shame. Concerning those longer songs, you gotta be on the level of Lynerd Skynerd, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Blue Oyster Cult and Peter Frampton to pull it off. Molley Hatchet was definitely among those amazing greats. And this is what I was talking about when I said I was spoiled growing up. I’d be listening to some great rock on the radio and then BAM! something like this happens. 2 or 3 times a week for over 20 years. My generation was truly blessed and spoiled. The artwork is Frank Frazzetta. I don’t know a lot about him except that he did a lot of paintings that wound up being the covers for Conan The Barbarian comic books. Pretty cool fantasy artwork. Much love ❤️
This is, actually, a cover of The Allman Brothers Band's "Dreams". Molly Hatchet decided to, mildly, alternately-title the song (as: "Dreams (I'll Never See)" ) -tacking the succeeding line into the title. ...but that isn't the initial (or accepted) title. If anyone speaks about it using that title, you understand, immediately, that they are referring to Molly Hatchet's version of it. The song was written by Gregg Allman, while he was living and working in California, PRIOR to forming the Allman Brothers Band, with his brother Duane. Gregg was working as a song-writer and arranger out there, on his own ...and, somewhat surprisingly 🤷🤷, not very successfully. "Dreams" was him writing about that experience and the sense of defeat and failure he had, after a series of refusals/failures (and not long before he would head back to Jacksonville) ...Gregg, basically, waking up depressed and worn-out, one morning and gazing down on the cesspool of lost angeles, from a place in the Hollywood Hills. ...but still telling himself that: "all this crap I'm being told has no basis in fact, really... I'm better than this ...I'm going to find a way to make what I want to happen, work." ...And, of course: he did. Molly Hatchet's version is one of those rare "the cover is better than the original" instances (this, almost, NEVER happens!). It is deeply moody and atmospheric and expands on some of the musical ideas that The Allmans used in "Dreams". ...of course, Molly Hatchet's triple guitar attack doesn't hurt proceedings, either. 😜😛😛🔥🔥 🤘🤘
As I told you (but -sadly- can have no idea whether you saw/read, or not, of course!!) on your last Molly Hatchet reaction (the first one). Molly Hatchet were, in fact, personally, chosen, by Ronnie Van Zant as "the inheritors to "the Lynyrd Skynyrd Southern Rock mantle. ...Molly's 3-guitar interplay/"front line" was, directly, inspired by, and designed after Skynyrd's own. Ronnie Van Zant was set to produce their debut album, before he & others were killed in the horrifying plane crash, in 1977 (which, for all intents and purposes, destroyed that band [Skynyrd], as well). He was never able to complete that task, but, in tribute to Ronnie and Steve and the rest of the band (who were, nearly, all physically brutalized/injured horribly in the accident), they finished their debut album. Molly Hatchet, from the beginning, had moved their sound in something of a "more heavy metal"/rawer, rougher, more "biker bar band fist fight" sound and direction (from standard Southern Rock), but it FEELS as if: after the crash and the delays completing: Molly Hatchet (their debut album), there was, even, some "extra drive" attached to their sound and output... >it felt and sounded even "heavier" and more aggressive. This is one of the things that made them special as well as showing why Ronnie loved them so much and thought of them as "the future of Southern Rock."" Molly Hatchet, arguably, didn't, quite, make the impact they might have/were foreseen to have (due to: internal problems and struggles), but, they were the final big push in the classic Southern Rock era. --The band has a retinue of excellent songs, though [mainly from their early a career (before a legally-manipulated theft of the band's name and trademarks, later (in the '90s or '00s....)]. Here's a few: "Beatin' The Odds" 🔥🔥🔥🔥 "Whiskey Man"🔥🔥 [Molly Hatchet even cover, your fav.: C.C.R.! Yep! With a killer version of:] "Penthouse Pauper" 🔥 "The Rambler" [ballad] "Gator Country" "Sailor" "Bounty Hunter" "Respect Me In The Morning" "Trust Your Old Friend" "What Does It Matter" "Fall Of The Peacemakers" [Power-ballad, directly referencing John Lennon and his murder (and, i.m.o., using that as an allusion to other great leaders lost to assassination, in the 1960s [i.e.: Martin Luther King, Jr., R.F.K., maybe even, J.F.K. ....🤷🤷]) -Anyhow: crazy, bad-ass, triple-guitar work-out with multiple, extended solos.🤘🤘] "The Price You Pay" {{"lower tier" selections}} "Ain't Even Close" "Double Talker" "Bloody Reunion" "The Creeper" "Jukin' City" (-Although all of the songs on the 3rd album, features new vocalist: Jimmy Farrar; not the original, primary (and best) vocalist: Danny Joe Brown. Farrar does a fine job, though. And he gets some excellent material to break loose with. 🤘🤘🔥)
Also: The cover art used for Molly Hatchet's albums (the first 3, anyway), is by legendary fantasy artist: Frank Frazetta (generally pronounced: "fruh-zett-uh") [the 4th album is by another legend, a student of Frazetta's work, in fact: Boris Vallejo (pronounced: "va-lay-hoe") and his partner and wife: Julie Bell]. Frazetta is famed for painting and illustrating books and, just, painting and drawing other work, for such as: Conan, The Barbarian [Robert E. Howard's MOST famed character.]. The debut Molly Hatchet album features a piece known as: "Death Dealer" ; while Flirtin' With Disaster uses a work entitled: "Dark Kingdom". Both were, already, legendary BEFORE their use as Molly Hatchet album covers ...but even MORESO, afterwards. -Additionally: the name "Molly Hatchet" derives from a, generally, SOUTHERN "ghost story," "starring" a girl who becomes "the titular character" therein. As with such stories, there are numerous variations, over time and throughout/across various places, but the tale (which, apparently, pre-dates the U.S. Civil War; actually 🤷🤷), apparently, deals with a woman, raped and murdered, who, as a ghost, takes revenge on all who harmed her as well as, then, continuing to take vengeance on others who might be attempting/considering something similar. ...and haunting swamps and deserted "byways" along certain areas... Some claim that it is, simply, a colloquialized version of the idea behind the tale of "Lizzy Borden." ...whatever the case: it's *something* along those lines. 🤷 (That's the bones and I am sure details vary, depending on: people, places and times (of hearing/experiencing the story 🤷) ...anyhow). ...The story doesn't seem to have been that well-traveled, but rose to prominence/wider familiarity just post-the U.S. Civil War. [But I DON'T have great "data"'/"detail"regarding that🤷🤷....] ...the band appropriated a version of the character/story name as their band name.
A great song originally written by the Allman Brothers, but Molly Hatchet did an awesome job covering it. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot.

"Gregg Allman wrote this song about unrealized dreams when he was living in Los Angeles. He left Georgia to get his music career going there, and wrote a bunch of songs before returning and forming The Allman Brothers Band with his brother Duane. This was the song that won over his bandmates."
Great tune! I grew up in Jacksonville where Hatchet is from, Allman Brothers first played together, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, 38 Special, Johnny Van Zant Band n many more. Saw Hatchet in 78 open for AC/DC and Cheap Trick 2 weeks before their first album came out. This song blew everyone away with the triple guitar attack. Late 70s were a great time for music! Oh yeah, that triple bill concert was 7 bucks.
Wife worked night shift fuel desk at a truck stop in the 80s. Their tour bus stopped by in the early morning hours. She recognized them when they walked in, but did not let on. She said they were very nice and tired. Mainly wanted batteries for their walkmans. Got some drinks from the restaurant next door. Headed on down the road.
I'm a Mexican that grew up on Mexican music but as an American, also this classic rock. People sometimes don't realize that Nortena music is very bluesy as well. I've played these songs in bands, my brothers have played it all....classic rock as well as classic country.
As you can see I nver recieved a response. My family history goes back to when a large portion of western America was Mexican land. We were never strangers to this land....Anne, I don't know...actually I do. LOL!@@Stephanie-lm7sp
Molly's 1st album. Produced by the great Tom Werman. A master of arrangement and sound engineering. Launched this group into the stratosphere of Southern arena rock. The original ABB song was a jazzy slow burning lyrical storytelling ballad of sorts. Tom took that and created this masterpiece of a rock bluesy structure built on solid out front progressive drums throughout. Double lead guitar's with riff responses choruses, and bluesy bass time signature rhythms. Danny's vocal delivery is perfectly mixed. It allows all of his vocal colors to paint the vibe of the song. Tom's brilliant engineering allows every note to be heard and enjoyed simultaneously. Personally I would put this album and this particular song to be precise. Comparably to Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. It's an sound engineering masterwork honestly. ❤️.
R.I.P. Molly Hatchett - All the original lineup is gone now. One of the great power triple lead guitar bands of the 70's along with April Wine, The Outlaws, Allman Brothers, Skynyrd, etc.
Molly Hatchet were one of a kind. I saw them live in concert in sparks, nevada. Took a 3 hour drive from Sacramento but was well worth it. Yes sadly the only way to hear them now is on a live cd. Y'all RIP guys we miss ya and give them a hell yeah in heaven🙏🙏
This is actually a cover (in a very different tempo I might add) of an Allman Brothers Band classic they recorded in the late 60's and later would have a live version of the song on their iconic "Live At Filmore East" album circa 1971.
This is my driving music when I go on trips. Nothing like driving through Brenham Texas and seeing all the bluebonnets in blooms like velvet fields with the windows rolled down and jamming to this taking in the breathtaking scenery.
Growing up in South Florida, I had the pleasure of seeing them live several times! Always a great time! "Fall of the peace maker " is a great one by them
One of my favorite southern rock songs! This is a cover of the Allman Brothers 1969 "Dreams". This band, The Allman Brothers, 38 Special, Blackfoot, The Outlaws and of course Lynyrd Skynyrd were either from or near Jacksonville, Fl.
Being a Florida band you gotta hear GATOR COUNTRY and pay attention to the lyrics. RIP Danny Joe Brown. In song he sings about all the other bands singing about places all across the USA But the best is Tampa FL GATOR COUNTRY!!
Great reaction! You guys definitely need to bring some more southern rock to the channel. More Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Outlaws, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band, etc.
I'm really glad to see you guys reacting to this song. I mentioned it quit a while back along with the song "Fall Of The Peacemakers" another forgotten great by Molly Hatcket
I had forgotten just how much I love this band. This came out when I was in high school and I was already a huge Lynyrd Skynyrd fan so of course I went out and bought two of their albums and both of them had hits on the radio and I played it them a lot. And I have to say that Amber's chair dancing was really fun here, laugh. And the way you were batting your eyes around during that one breakdown, lol lol. ❤️
That is one excellent cover, love this though I give the Allman Brothers original an edge for me as I remember when it came out, their first album is one of my most treasured musical memories. Had many a night in my friends room listening to it when in high school. Please do the Allman Brothers studio original Dreams if you have not, if you have, try In Memory of Elizabeth Reed. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶
Back in my late teens, some friends of my parents has a local band and they practiced in our backyard (basically) so I always got to sit and listen to them practice. They did this song and it was one of my favorites to hear them perform!!! Thanks for the memories!!!
@RobSquad keep an eye out for either John Lennon's birthday or the anniversary of his assassination. Molly Hatchet did a tribute song to him and others who gave their lives in pursuit of peace. "Fall of the Peacemakers". A terrific song.
Great band that I saw numerous times in the 80's and 90's. They had a great trippel guitar threat and they dedicated a live version of Freebird to Skynyrd. For southern rock you can get into some Blackfoot, 38 Special, Marshall Tucker, Outlaws to name a few.
I had them privilege of seeing them perform live 3 times in the in 80's. This song was always the highlight of the show. Watching those three guitarists all playing different parts and then coming together at the end. It was awesome to see. Great choice for a song. One of my favorite Hatchet songs
I love this song. I always preferred this to the original. And I agree totally music that can take you to places, that was why Led Zeppelin and Rush and bands like that were so popular in that period. They took you into another place.
My College Grad song was Molly = Dreams! University of Central Florida, Orlando. Such a classic Southern Rock classic. Love you both, such honest reactions, when it feels good, it is good.
Great pick you two. The album is great from start to finish. Saw them in 1978 when they opened for Reo Speedwagon . Fabulous live! Do some more please! This just the beginning of this great bands music.
I suggested this song right after y'all listened to the first one. So glad y'all got around to it, knew y'all would love it. One of the best southern rock bands.
Molly Hatchet put their phenomenal twist on the great original from The Allman Brothers. Check out the live version from "Double Trouble Live"....it'll blow you away! Glad you discovered this gem!
Love this song! It's been so long since I've heard it that I haven't thought about it in decades! Thank you for this selection! Okay you two, I'm throwing this reaction request out here since you said the longer songs of the 70s gives you more "musicality". I've requested this before, and I looked at your past reactions, and I could not believe you've only done one Peter Frampton song, and it wasn't even his greatest work of all time -- "Do You Feel Like We Do" (Full version). You talk about solos ... We already know Frampton is one of the guitar greats, so there's plenty of great guitar solo in this song, but the keyboard solo will absolutely blow your mind! This is one of my all-time favorites. It's long, but it's a huge vibe and worth every minute! But if you react to it, it MUST be the FULL version, NOT the Midnight Special version! Link is below. Thanks so much for this reaction! ✌💙✌ Do You Feel Like We Do - ua-cam.com/video/V9Yq5m9eLIQ/v-deo.html
It's sad, everyone on that song is gone. The entire original band has died. 😪

Wow I didn't know they all passed very sad
A gift we got to hear. Man, they were good

No they aren’t. They live on thru their music. Millions are still listening.
I think Molly Hatchett was one of the most underrated bands ever. They were tremendously good. It's pretty hard to find a bad Hatchett song.
too true! Way under rated
The band has never been the same without Danny, Bruce and Banner!! They were the Soul of Hatchett!!
Got sent home from school because one of the t shirts from them 😂dad laughed his ass off 😂

This one here??!!! ua-cam.com/video/xxBzUZ1q7Vw/v-deo.html
Flirting with disaster is another good song from Molly hatchet
This is actually a cover/reworking of The Allman Brothers song "Dreams", this one has elaborated on the lyrics some. The original meanders a bit more, it was always meant to honor the Allman's jazz and blues influences.
Love Molly Hatchett Dreams I’ll Never See is such a Chill Molly Hatchet Vibe. Love Danny Joe Brown’s Voice. Go Bengals
The singer in this was, Danny Joe Brown , who left us years ago. If you liked this song , you should listen to Fall of the peacemakers.
Love this guitar riff, favorite Molly Hatchet song . I love you guys !
You guys just found one of the Best gems in Southern Rock!Congrats y'all!!💯💯💥💪
I know others are going to make great recommendations for Molly Hatchett, so I'm going to leave that to them.
YES!!! Try "Gator Country"...or "Flirtin with Disaster"!! Now that you have been introduced!
Their guitar solo is like going on a journey.
Wife here...So True!!!
One of my favorite bands growing up. Fall of the Peacemakers is my favorite song of theirs, but this is great too.
One of my all-time favorites... released when I was in college. I like the ABB original, too... but this is one of those rare covers that transcends the original, IMHO. When it comes up in one of my playlists it invariably gets repeated a few times, especially if I'm driving alone and can really crank it up.
RIP Danny Joe Brown. One of the most distinctive Southern Rock voices of all time.
I like this so much better than the Allman Bros. version.
@@kathys.1764 You're not wrong. I love them both so much, but for different reasons.
Its boring
You made my wife's day! Her all time favorite band.
I saw them open for Triumph back in the 80's. They only played 45 minutes, I could have listened to them for hours.
Wow how did I miss this band growing up in the 60's and 70's? They are so good!
You should see the LIVE version and Dave Hlubek leading the Molly Hatchet Tri- Guitar Attack!
Like your list. I will add Blackfoot "Highway Song" and The Outlaws "Green Grass and High Tides"
I'm better than this ...I'm going to find a way to make what I want to happen, work."
...And, of course: he did.
This is one of the things that made them special as well as showing why Ronnie loved them so much and thought of them as "the future of Southern Rock.""
Molly Hatchet, arguably, didn't, quite, make the impact they might have/were foreseen to have (due to: internal problems and struggles), but, they were the final big push in the classic Southern Rock era.
--The band has a retinue of excellent songs, though [mainly from their early a career (before a legally-manipulated theft of the band's name and trademarks, later (in the '90s or '00s....)].
Here's a few:
"Beatin' The Odds" 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Whiskey Man"🔥🔥
[Molly Hatchet even cover, your fav.: C.C.R.! Yep! With a killer version of:]
"Penthouse Pauper" 🔥
"The Rambler" [ballad]
"Gator Country"
"Sailor"
"Bounty Hunter"
"Respect Me In The Morning"
"Trust Your Old Friend"
"What Does It Matter"
"Fall Of The Peacemakers" [Power-ballad, directly referencing John Lennon and his murder (and, i.m.o., using that as an allusion to other great leaders lost to assassination, in the 1960s [i.e.: Martin Luther King, Jr., R.F.K., maybe even, J.F.K. ....🤷🤷])
-Anyhow: crazy, bad-ass, triple-guitar work-out with multiple, extended solos.🤘🤘]
"The Price You Pay"
{{"lower tier" selections}}
"Ain't Even Close"
"Double Talker"
"Bloody Reunion"
"The Creeper"
"Jukin' City"
(-Although all of the songs on the 3rd album, features new vocalist: Jimmy Farrar; not the original, primary (and best) vocalist: Danny Joe Brown.
Farrar does a fine job, though. And he gets some excellent material to break loose with. 🤘🤘🔥)
Also: The cover art used for Molly Hatchet's albums (the first 3, anyway), is by legendary fantasy artist: Frank Frazetta (generally pronounced: "fruh-zett-uh")
[the 4th album is by another legend, a student of Frazetta's work, in fact: Boris Vallejo (pronounced: "va-lay-hoe") and his partner and wife: Julie Bell].
Frazetta is famed for painting and illustrating books and, just, painting and drawing other work, for such as: Conan, The Barbarian [Robert E. Howard's MOST famed character.].
The debut Molly Hatchet album features a piece known as: "Death Dealer"
; while Flirtin' With Disaster uses a work entitled: "Dark Kingdom".
Some claim that it is, simply, a colloquialized version of the idea behind the tale of "Lizzy Borden."
...whatever the case: it's *something* along those lines. 🤷
(That's the bones and I am sure details vary, depending on: people, places and times (of hearing/experiencing the story 🤷) ...anyhow).
...The story doesn't seem to have been that well-traveled, but rose to prominence/wider familiarity just post-the U.S. Civil War.
[But I DON'T have great "data"'/"detail"regarding that🤷🤷....]
...the band appropriated a version of the character/story name as their band name.
A great song originally written by the Allman Brothers, but Molly Hatchet did an awesome job covering it. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot.
Molly Hatchet was my 1st live show, at the tender age of 11, I was blown away, been a rocker ever since! "Fall of the Peacemakers" is another Banger of MH! Jay, The Bengal`s have to come thru Kansas City 1st...we will see in a few days...
My Very 1st Live Concert! Peabody Auditorium, in Daytona!!! Me & my band went. We met them Backstage and became Lifelong friends! I saw Bassist, Banner Thomas, Many times, with the Jax Band "Big Engine"!!! Danny Joe did an "Unplugged" show, with Bobby Ingram, in Jax, at the "Cheers" bar I Worked at, off Blanding Blvd! Me and Dave Hlubek hung-out during the show!
Saw Molly Hatchett several times. Great tunes. Thank you for playing their music.

The prettiest guitar lead I think I’ve ever heard .
This was great--thanks guys I never heard this one before! What a cool ass southern bluesy groove.
The most under rated band of all time
"Gregg Allman wrote this song about unrealized dreams when he was living in Los Angeles. He left Georgia to get his music career going there, and wrote a bunch of songs before returning and forming The Allman Brothers Band with his brother Duane. This was the song that won over his bandmates."
The original
Did not know that, thank you.
I love Molly Hatchet! They have a song called Whiskey Man…Jordan it’s right up your alley! Lol. I hope you’ll react to it. And yay for your Bengals!
So you have dual citizenship?
@@Anne-pv9cb Thanks for the response. Interesting question, why do you ask?
Sorry for some people
As you can see I nver recieved a response. My family history goes back to when a large portion of western America was Mexican land. We were never strangers to this land....Anne, I don't know...actually I do. LOL!@@Stephanie-lm7sp
Hey, like Louis Armstrong said, there are two kinds of music: good and bad.
One of my favorite songs since I first heard it in high school circa 1977! Even better live....
This was originally an Allman Brothers song, and it's how I remember it, but Molly Hatchet really nails it in this cover version.
This is my driving music when I go on trips. Nothing like driving through Brenham Texas and seeing all the bluebonnets in blooms like velvet fields with the windows rolled down and jamming to this taking in the breathtaking scenery.
Love 'Flirtin' With Disaster', and I remember hearing this one before. It's Different and Great! :) Lots more Molly Hatchett, Pls. :)
The Allman Brothers Band first came out with this song.
When Molly Hatchett hit the scene it was a wonderful time to be young!
I still have the original vinyl…
My husband introduced me to this band way back in high school still love it after all these years 💞
Being a Florida band you gotta hear GATOR COUNTRY and pay attention to the lyrics.
Blackfoot's Train, Train is an incredible piece of music.
Blackfoot, definitely (I was a bit tentative in promoting them before. My bad.). I say start with "Diary of a Working Man".
I'm really glad to see you guys reacting to this song. I mentioned it quit a while back along with the song "Fall Of The Peacemakers" another forgotten great by Molly Hatcket
The early lineup of Molly Hatchet with Danny Joe Brown as lead singer to me is one of the top rock bands of all time.
Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶
Back in my late teens, some friends of my parents has a local band and they practiced
in our backyard (basically) so I always got to sit and listen to them practice. They did this song and it was one of my favorites to hear them perform!!! Thanks for the memories!!!
The album this came from was an absolute gem. Every song fantastic!
Keep in mind this is a cover of The Allman Brothers, 'Dreams'.

Which sux compared to this.
They did a outstanding job on this cover they definitely made it their own!
Incredible southern rock band. As a kid I was mesmerized by their album covers and the artwork involved. Was so cool, but then the music captured me.
OMG THIS IS AN ALLMAN BROTHERS SONG!
Please play the original ..blows this away
For your next Molly Hatchet song, you must react to Fall of the Peacemakers, its another great song by them!
I was blessed to have seen the original band on more than one occasion. What a great great band. Sadly, 😞 all have passed away now.
Haven't heard this in a long time. Great southern rock music from Molly Hatchet! Excellent choice!
Allman Brothers originally did this but Molly Hatchet really killed it with their version. Try to catch the live video!!
Do You Feel Like We Do - ua-cam.com/video/V9Yq5m9eLIQ/v-deo.html
Glad you've got back around to Molly Hatchet. Next up try their song Fall of the Peacemakers.
Great tune! Although I am partial to the original Allman Bros version - you have to check out that one too! But they are both great.
