In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Комедії
I love Nish and Mark's friendship this series, whether they're comforting each other when embarrassed or celebrating a victory.
It's more often the first than the second.
@@tobiasgreven254 But every once in a while you get a Coconut moment and its amazing
@@Qril or the moment when everyone else is disqualified
Looks like it developed while doing tasks and on the show which I love the idea of
Truly something to be admired!
Mark Watson struggling to open an unlocked suitcase is such an underrated Taskmaster moment.

It's a whole ass mood
He looks like lil dickey lol
He needs to get in touch with James Acaster and they can go to that class together.
Sally is a crazy person in the body of a respectable, elegant Englishwoman. She's amazing.
So pretty much every Englishwoman.
She's not sexy.
@@jhart1127 LMAO that's a good one.
Annoying
@ellenmadsen7308 Don't put yourself down like that.
"Clubman of the Year", presented to the boy "who'd shown the most enthusiasm in the face of (and I quote) 'an overwhelming lack of ability'" pretty much sums up Nish's entire Taskmaster run. He should have been given 5 points for being so on point.
Nish is like that kid who runs onto the field and falls down. You love him but feel sorry for him.
You mean Johnny Vegas, in the “Make the Cup Overfloweth” task on Series 10.
Also his career in comedy. 🥁
That’s genuinely the best laugh I’ve had from this show, the delivery was perfect
That's one of his stand-up bits works for word
The impromptu back and forth of Aisling and Nish: "Nish Kumar, as I live and breath" "I always knew it would come to this" might be my favorite moment from this show.
tagging on to say, of ALL words, the one word i didn't think would get anyone out due to the "no repeats rule" would be god damn

Aisling and Horne watching that jello slide down the pole made me laugh harder than I've done in a month.

Melissa Smits yes 😂 that's amazing
@@melliferou That slight head shake before the fade in from your last death
I'm really disappointed that someone made an individual clip of her "boat knickers", but not one of the jello slide.
it was hauntingly beautiful
The underappreciated gem of Series 5 is Mark Watson. You can always tell and feel how much he wants to do well, and it really enhances the experience. That heron is a treasure.
If you haven't seen it yet, UKTV has outtakes from Taskmaster. Including Mark Watson's Yoghurt Kick, which Alex labels as "the best thing you ever done."
*sees the next episode* ...Yeah, you sure are right about that.
I agree, but equally treasurable I would say is how much fun Nish has at all times, even though he rarely does well. He truly is just having the time of his life and it makes me enjoy it even more.
I find it even better that he and Alex are pretty good friends.

I´m Icelandic, and not only was Alex´s egg pronunciation pretty close, but Sally knocked Alþingi Íslendinga out of the park. Well done to them both!

@Ddhfacetyy Whaaaaat? Sally is boring? I beg to differ.
@Ddhfacetyy Good thing it's Greg's show then
@Ddhfacetyy Him making decisions however he wants and deciding who wins just because he wants to is literally how the show works. They say so at the top of it pretty often.

I have to say, I am so happy that these are posted in full. Finding this show and channel was a highlight of 2020.
Mine too! Just in time to see all the hometasking videos during quarantine too. Perfect!
Agreed
couldn't agree more! it's so much more fun to see the whole episode instead of only single tasks.
I discovered it recently too, binge watched everything and now I'm hooked. So much better than most of the U.S. programming.
There's more seasons up on dailymotion for you to enjoy
When she threw that jello in the bucket that was the most gangster shit I've ever seen.
I always forget how huge Greg is until he stands next to someone
I always forget how tall Greg is until I read someone's comment about how they always forget about how tall Greg is until they watch an episode of Taskmaster with a shot of Greg about to hug someone.
The closest person to his height was Richard Osman
I can't believe they looked at Sally's coconut and think she didn't do incredible on that task. Such a polite lil fella I would give him all of my money
"After half an hour he shouted 'God, it's like a bassoon' "
Sally's coconut was so good! The details and everything. She deserved 3 points at least
EXACTLY!! the amount of effort put into her coconut business man was astounding and it definitely deserved more
ikr! she was cheated!
@@ericaheap don't you mean business person!
@@studentdrake yeah okay sure! either way it was underrated
I think Nish's was a worthy win, but yeah I'd say Sally and Aisling did better than Mark, while it's often said Mark got robbed quite a bit in this series, he should have been in the bottom 2 for that task, sure he made a business but his coconut itself was pretty meh
31:16 the view of Aisling and Alex staring at the jello sliding down the pole is absolutely beautiful
The jello had impeccable comedic timing
The framing of that shot is almost Wes Anderson-esque
"He's still alive and we're gonna celebrate that." Wholesome
To which Bob would reply: “d’ya know what I mean?”. Or maybe, “Really, Geoffrey?”.
I think Bob’s favorite thing about doing tasks is the opportunity to chat Alex’s ear off with ridiculous stories that sound made up but it’s hard to tell.
I mean, if you've seen him on Would I Lie to You, his stories are always crazy, both the true and the false ones, and it's driving David crazy haha
The group this series are so supportive of each other
they seem like mates just mucking about I love it :)

@@Bombom1300 Means series 8 (I assume). You can watch it on daily motion with stupid adds or wait a bit for Taskmaster to upload it here.
@@adorabell4253 Ah, thanks. I wasn't worried about finding it. I just didn't get the context. I take it series 8 is also a pretty supportive & fun crew, then! That'll be good to look forward to!

@@Bombom1300 yeah... Watch 8 after you've enjoyed everything else. It has moments but it's the only season where the cast balance just doesn't work and it throws a lot off. It's worth a watch but I don't revisit it.
5 and 4 are probably the best for everyone having fun together. 7 is my overall favorite and the dynamic is hilarious. 9 was back to fantastic, especially with some of the creative open ended tasks.

I 100% agree
DraKaleel 18 it was not only signed on but cast was confirmed too. It’s got good ratings and such so I assume it’ll last a little while
Right up there with donuts on a stick
S4E3 final task was better imo. The musical word game one where Hugh Dennis kept saying "Sweden's".
I like how Alex thanks the contestants when they finish the tasks; like they’ve done him a favour by taking care of something he desperately needed their wisdom and assistance with!
😅 24:33
I like how Bob sometimes makes up stories like a grandparent.
Look up the show - Would I Lie To You. He is fantastic on there.
@@SirSneakerPimp I've watched them
A grandparent who tells you about their prostate exams and weird poo situations :D
At 13:10 Nish calls Alex "Horny". Just thought I'd point that out in case anyone missed it.
I did not, in fact catch that, and it just about made me laugh out loud at 10:40 pm whilst sleeping in the same room as my sound-asleep 8 year old sister. Thank you.
Lil Horny is his rap name
@@Cruxador omg
I know. I was surprised Greg didn't say something about it.
What a great nickname for Alex Horne
I literally laughed out loud when he said "This one is like the word "commerce". It really means business".
I knew what to expect when Nish walked out, AND YET, I still howled when the hat was removed. What a charismatic coconut business man!
Mark Watson trying to open the briefcase is one of the funniest things ever. I wish they would show us all 6 minutes of it!
I would love to see task cuts! Maybe after they've cut all the aired stuff into as many snips as they can think of they will resort to giving us some more non-aired content. A lot of those tasks gave contestants 10, 20, 30 minutes, or more! Tons of footage from aired tasks that were cut for time.
If you liked this, James Acaster failing to open a briefcase on QI was even more spectacular
I'd straight up watch all 6 minutes of Mark trying to open the suitcase and thoroughly enjoy it.
I’ve heard what you’ve had to say, and I’ve enjoyed it
It's a shame. There is probably a lot of film of Mark brilliantly narrating his own actions that tragically ended up on the cutting room floor.
Sally just casually throwing that jelly into the bucket like it's an everyday occurrence was a true highlight.
That widescreen shot of Aisling and Alex watching the jello slide down the pole is both the funniest and saddest thing you'll ever watch lmao.
Underrated moment of athleticism: 50-year-old Sally Phillips running around that stage in those heels.
I only just noticed Aisling was barefoot for the table tennis live task. Often you see the female contestants taking off their heels if the task will require a lot of physical movement.
Her dropping down quickly on her front to retrieve the rope after she dropped it too
❤
My mother has one of those lung devices. She had major surgery recently, and they wanted her to reach a particular level before she was discharged from the hospital. Since they apparently don't reuse them, they gave it to her. It's sitting on a table next to her chair, as kind of a participation trophy (though she certainly did conquer her ailment, doing very well).
Hope you're moms doing good
Yup! I had abdominal surgery, and they gave me that thing to prevent pneumonia.
Alex's posture and face during the time the jello slid down the pole is the ultimate proof he's a comical genius
It’s absolutely hilarious that ecclesiastical is a word that Nish thinks about often enough to say it twice
Also that title was like a sleeper agent just waiting to be activated holy
"Taskmaster"
"Regret"
I love how organic the final task felt in this one. Them making rules on the fly, the players catching themselves out just having fun.
"she's got coconut water--which is, yes, her own blood" XD
Aisling and Alex watching the jelly slide down the pole looks like a scene out of an art film
"the wife?"
"no, the taskmaster"
Everyone is glad Bob’s alive. He makes the world a happier, sillier, funnier world just by being in it!
“ECCLEEEEEEEEEEEsiastical 𝕀 𝕊𝔸𝕀𝔻 𝕀𝕋 𝔸𝕃ℝ𝔼𝔸𝔻𝕐-“
I like that nish's go to word was so long he had time to realize his mistake halfway through. Not often you can literally see someone realize their failure in real time
Mark and Nish are almost always either in last or first place. Love how their minds work.
Lol, Sally did both the stupidest thing and the smartest thing on the table tennis in the tube task. I love it.
"Excellent!"-"Terrible!"-"Excellent!"-"Terrible" :D
I like how both Alex and Greg noticed that someone had already said "Excellent" when the "E" came from the end of "Terrible" which Nish had already said as well.
the live task was so good, especially the "NO" "ON" and "NOUGAT" exchange
I laughed so hard at that. I gave my self a leg cramp. I had to pause and stand up a while to ease the spasm. Bob was so confused :D
"This one is like the word 'commerce,' it really means business"
It took a minute or two for the joke to actually sit in with me (even though I understood it immediately) and only then did I begin laughing hysterically
I thought he said "commas" and didn't get it, so I had to think for a sec to figure out what another word for "business" is. And then the joke wasn't as funny because then I had to recall the sentence in my head and it wasn't as funny as the intonation Alex used. #secondlanguageproblems 😔
@@0h0h0h0 it's a bit more funny when you realize that some people find puns and other word play genuinely annoying. though that more or less goes with gregs reaction to it.
“And IM a FOCKING BUSINESSMAN”
"You are directly quoting from my chest tattoo" is such a fuckin funny line from Alex
Bob's reaction to Alex saying Phoenix absolutely KILLED me lol
fun fact: the icelandic word for "egg" is "egg", so not much of an icelandic accent for that word needed...
French for egg is pronounced OOF
not just spelt the same way, pronounced the same way. So he nailed it
Much like the French for Hugh that I learned in a previous season is Hugh. I’m a thick American so the foreign languages I learn will impress my circle, lol.
It’s almost like that was the joke!
@@tex6924 so you're telling me that when french people de in Roblox all they hear is 'egg'?
Idea for a task: inject this show straight into my veins.
So strange to see Greg not in portrait mode. And wearing trousers!
". . . and I'm Morgan, and I don't think women should be allowed to breastfeed in public."
Alex: holds task in front of Mark
Mark: the only person in the room totally oblivious to it
Just like a heron.
I think he knew where it was, it was a bit
Sally sinking the jelly in one was sheer brilliance.
This may be my second favorite episode of all of Taskmaster (after season 7 finale)
Bob's alive
Sally with the Hoover
Nish is a Businessman
Mark's Coconut
Mark and Nish killing it in a task where everyone else wasn't disqualified
Aisling and Alex watching the jello fall
ECCLESIASTICAL
As an Icelander, I must say his Icelandic accent of "egg" was spot on. 100%
Bob's coconut video kills me every time. Quintessential Mortimer, right down to the names and jobs the other characters have. Brilliant!
This episode should’ve been called “Overwhelm the holes.”
Bob is such a gem. I live for his random narratives while he does his tasks
Nish's uncontrollable laughter while portraying himself as a coconut, as he watched himself laughing at himself as a coconut, made me laugh uncontrollably. 😂
“Someone named mega toad ate 13 cans of sweet corn”
Now that dates the show. Not by being old but just legit just how long it’s been (3 years)
Good ole Matt Stonie
As an avid follower of competitive eaters I scrolled deep into the comments to find this
I knew Joey Chestnut when they mentioned him before but it's been too long since I followed the sport for me to know mega toad though, I guess
Bob's "waiting for a ping pong ball" face is just so lovely and full of joy.
Bob getting Phoenix and immediately having brain lag was great
As a nurse, hearing that bob actually used his incentive spirometer makes me incredibly fucking proud lmao
Aisiling and Nish's standoff was pure comedy gold
Nish's laugh is amazing!!! He's like a bubble of joy
Somehow even when he's spitting rage he's still delightful.
I really love his manic laughter, makes me happy just to him laugh
This episode's live task is probably my favorite live task of all time.
Actually, this is probably my favorite episode so far.
This task was so simple yet clever. Very similar to last season with the jazz band playing while the contestants came up with certain words. Both really really good.
But my favorite live task of all time is in series 7, the one with the "donut". The utter madness and savagery that played out on stage was glorious.
Task: make a coconut look like a businessman.
Mark: *starts an actual business *
"Theater!"
"Excellent!"
"Wait, wha- oh right, theat*re*."
The “southern states” of America accent was pretty amazing
It took him 44 minutes 😂😂😂 no way man
Nish's coconut businessman reminded me of the goombas from the old, terrible Super Mario Bros. movie from the 90s.
Woah, was thinking the exact same thing!
I can't decide if my favorite series is this one or series 7. Nish and Mark are a joy and my new OTP, Bob is legend, Sally insane and Aisling ridiculously competitive. Yet Rhod, Phil, and James are the most entertaining group ever and the prize tasks are epic.
I LOVE HOW POSITIVE NISH IS!
Woot! Don't mind if it's late, just don't want them to stop. Plus, seeing clips of the next season, all champs, has got me psyched for months in advance.
Sally seems like the nicest and most comfortable person. When Greg went in for a shake and she went in for a hug I just thought she seems like the nicest person to hug. Even if she does smear chocolate cake into your armpit.
That’s a plus.
The title of this episode should definitely be "God, It's Like a Bassoon"
Bob is so freaking cute. He's always so funny
personally i think sallys coconut was excellent
That commerce joke
Can you help me, I don't get it!
@@saeedsaeed2607 Basically, commerce is another word for business, hence the double meaning of Alex's sentence "it really means business"
31:14 has to be the best shot of the whole show's run
I love seeing someone occasionally just absolutely smash a task like Sally did the triple one. Brilliant.
"I didn't think lie, creatively, about my proudest moment." What a wholesome woman
Seeing Nish’s coconut businessman sent me into a fit of laughter 😂
"I'm sorry, I was overcome by the conical shape"
Nish and Aisling would make such a fantastic double act. I can see them doing a live stage show of sketch comedy.
"You can interpret businessman however you like" "I will interpret it as sexist" amazing response hahahah
Pathetic feminist statement. Nothing else.
13:24 knowing now that Aisling and Nish are friends makes watching their faces react to each other's tasks extra hilarious!
The way Bob says 'coconut character' brings me endless joy and I don't know why.
Nish calling Alex "Horney" was glazed over and I think thats a crime
I just wonder what those people on the beach thought Nish was doing?
I would have seen cameras and been very very confused seeing a man throw a twiglet at a bucket and balancing Jello on a pole.
There are zero comments about how incredible Sally's coconut WITH AN OYSTER CARD AND A TINY COCONUT ID so I feel like she deserves at least as much credit as the creator of Mr. Potato Head even though I think Business Coconut has more personality and a better portfolio.
oh wait I found one I just had to keep going
