    ------------
In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I would have loved to see Greg allow it for Sally but disqualify Nish. I love Nish and I'm heartbroken he and Mark came so close yet so far to winning in this episode, but it would have fit Greg's Taskmaster character perfectly to slam Nish and find some reason not to slam Sally. The close-up of Nish's face painted with both the expression of Romesh Ranganathan and orange paint would be phenomenal!!

@Ryan Conners I'm from the Netherlands and absolutely in love with UK panel shows/these kind of shows with comedians, and especially this show. Taskmaster producers or whoever decides that it should go on youtube know exactly what's up, much respect to them. Any more lesser known panel shows I should know about? I prob know the ones widely available on YT, but maybe there are some hidden gems I don't know yet :o Stuff like this doesn't exist at the same level in the Netherlands, it's just not the same chemistry/humor that the UK has.

But I'd say WILTY is the best. :) I'd start with "Lee Mack's Keys' and then "Claudia Winkleman's Yoshi' and then just go from there.

@@Pagliacci_Rex Moving parts is not a prerequisite for machine status. A wedge is a machine, a ramp is a machine, a lever is a machine. Mark used a _lever_ to fling his coconut; the lever happened to be in the form of a hat. It is still clothing, in the same way that a lintel is also a bat, given sufficient impetus.
Not only was Bob in the same boat, but so was Sally. She just taped some stuff together to (attempt to...) achieve the *exact* same mechanical principle. The only part you could _actually_ call the boys on is the word "Make".

They'll often be be amazed when they say "carrot" and you reveal that you "predicted" they were going to say that (results may vary outside of North America and the UK).

His arm and hat together also formed a 3rd class lever with his shoulder as the fulcrum and his mussels the force. The human body is made of a bunch of machines, from a physics perspective, so you could of just thrown it. The issues here is the word "machine" most commonly, but not exclusively, refers to a complex machine which the hat was not. But this show does not restrict the interpretation of the task to the most common usage of words, most of the time. If he had argued that he used the hat as a leaver which is a simple machine he would of had a decent chance of the argument being accepted and getting full points.

It is impossible to not adore all five contestants from this season. They all seem to be simply joyous (even Mark and his neuroses) and that is so endearing. One of my favorite seasons (or series, for those in the UK)

lol. She had to use a machine though. That's why nobody just threw the ball with their hands directly.

when Mark and Alex talking about "you have hat .... is hat a machine?" ..... its so adorable that they are actually old friends. What was in Alex's mind that moment , and what conversations they had afterwards, I wonder.

Why does Mark Watson seem like hes being bullied even when he fully consents to having yoghurt dropped on him from a height
