In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Розваги
I will never fully recover from Paul explaining that he had recently put lotion on by saying "he recently creamed"
Why exactly? Because that is the correct way to say it? Never too old to learn. Good for you.
@@sandoumir4348 I'm American and here "creaming yourself" means something ENTIRELY different than putting on lotion.
@@morgan32 I was also in tears over that bit
American here as well and I was thinking the same thing. Lmfao
Sandou Mir unnecessarily condescending but okay
I’m sobbing… Rob was told ‘an accent other than his own’ and went for ‘Swedish Freddie Mercury who’s also periodically Jamaican, German, and Borat’
The Jamaican aspects had me laughing so hard. I’m literally re-watching it right now and glad to read your comment even if it’s old. I’m go-en to get me cohd! And then, when he explains it that he just had to move his tongue around to make different sounds😂😂😂😂😂
A friend told me he could hear some Geordie in there too.
I said "No way"
this is it. this is the episode "little alex horne" was born. such a magical moment.

I was waiting for it to happen, and I'm glad it stuck lol

This whole third series in one word: innit
Its pretty annoying tbh
@@lawbl5415 Yeah, innit?

@@ROFLATT I love you AHAHAH
This episode in one word: Genuinely
I am genuinely amazed at Paul this series. I don't know him, and on the first watch, I thought he might actually be a bit thick. But rewatching this series, he sneaks in so many clever and well-timed remarks that I understand it's fully a character he's playing. Anyone can be shit at tasks, but his comedy is low-key amazing and I now understand why Greg is so delighted to speak to him every time he does.
He's an incredible standup, well worth looking into. And they've known each other for decades, always adds a fun dynamic
Yeah, definitely a persona. If you watch his stand up, it's nothing like his Taskmaster performance.
Greg was so ecstatic about the footstool and blanket, like a small child
Greg is really cute sometimes.
@@sfshinz man, I was about to say the same. The pure innocent joy on that man's face after Bob rips the apple. He even slaps his hands like a little child would.
Tbh those were awesome gifts
Quite fitting
I really wish they did the gift task in every series
@@Jennyfisch Me too.. sucks they stopped doing them after a few series, they were so fun
Is nobody gonna talk about how paul managed to get an egg into the pan w.out the shell...like a boss
thought the same, too! obviously, a good deal of it also ended up on the outside, but i still thought it really impressive that he cracked the egg but the shell didn't go in!
Sreeprada S I can count at least four pieces of eggshell in the pan, and a good portion of egg is on the ground.
@@Benzy670
Same here, definitely shell in the pan.
Even if he didn't mean to make that happen it was amazing
@@Benzy670 dick, they mean the whole eggshell isn't in there with the egg
The footstool was actually amazing
I thought that was the best one
never seen Davies look so elated
There's no way that cost 20 quid, though.
Peter Hedman probably not no :) but i dont think the task specified they had to spend exactly 20 quid
The stool was fantastic, but Dave deserved that win. Memorabilia from Greg's childhood town was a ridiculously deep cut.
I'm glad Paul's having a good week. The last two weren't to kind to him.
Do you think Greg gave him 4 points for the flag so that he could win the episode? The flag was quite sh*** compared to place 3 and 4!
I like that he won, not complaining 😃
@@juliahelm9893 no and he explained why.
Dave doesn't seem to get much attention in the comments because he's neither outstandingly smashing the tasks nor does he suck at anything, but it needs to be said that his attitude to the tasks is just the most precious, and the genuine laughs he shares with the other members of the panel are fun and adorable. underappreciated much
Asking for a bottle of champagne for a task, and then just drinking it himself was a bold move.
It's hard to stand out with Paul and Al in the same room. But yeah, while he's not the most remarkable person in this series, i really recommend his youtube channel, where he uploaded all 5 seasons of his Modern Life is Goodish. He's a very funny guy and Greg didn't lie when he said Dave's comedy is very well thought out in an earlier episode.
@@maxbarnt3835 those two are definitely top faves, but the cast for this series (along with all the other series' casts being amazing) is one of my favorites which i didnt think would be the case from first glance
Esp in the studio, he's giggling like a giddy child the whole time.
Dave is probably the most underrated contestant, I do love that he ordered a bottle of champagne for himself 😂 something I’m definitely doing if I ever have to cook for someone else on their money 😂
"Al Murray's gonna win this, that fat bastard"
One of the greatest quotes from this entire series. I don't care what anyone says
explosiveramen bastards crying innit
How about "the Dong and the Gong" though?
Hard to beat the foreign films line, but this one did have an honesty to it that did make it funny. It didn't seem like a joke in his persona, just a genuine assessment off the cuff.
"Melon, innit."
And then the man PEED in a BOWL
''I like women I like men, it's all good.'' Me too mate
Same. And more fuel for my "Greg is bisexual" theory.
@@Yammenkow i mean honestly, not that i should be prying into someones private life at all, but there was a video i saw on youtube called like "greg davies giving bisexual vibes for x amount of minutes" (cause when i first started watching i thought he and alex were partners so i looked up "greg davies gay" cause im nosy) and it had this clip in, and i thought at the time there would be more context but it does seem like thats the only context someone could gleam from that
I was not expecting Gabriel Supernatural to come out in the comments of a Taskmaster episode
I love how the crowd actually gave Greg one clap when he asked for it, it was beautiful
But not as beautiful as in Bill Bailey's "Part Troll".
Well you gotta do the task when Taskmaster gives you the task
I love how Alex Horne pretends to be Greg Davies' flunky, but actually Greg works for Alex.
Explain please!
@@wewemcrhyne Alex Horne created the show, and is the Executive Producer. It came from an Edinburgh Festival show that Horne did, which he then pitched to TV network as a show. It's all his thing!
That's because Alex Horne would completely flop as the Taskmaster and he knows it.
@@SaintDaisley That's not a nice thing to say. Just say Alex does better feeding off of more extroverted energy.

PhaTs00p Really? He’s hugely talented!!!!
Yeah it started as his show at fringe festival i think
@@wewemcrhyne yes, but he doesn't think of himself as a main character and that's why he and the taskmaster team asked Greg Davis if he wanted to be the main character and Alex only plays a secondary role.
TheNamen ive read somewhere (or was it an interview?) that Greg’s Alpha personality complimented Alex’s beta personality and sure enough it shines through! The show may not have taken off if Alex was the sole host. He’s great and bloody brilliant but them two paired makes the show incredibly entertaining.

Paul's reaction to winning the episode is the purest joy I've ever seen.
Sometimes in these tasks I think you get a little peak into how Alex is as a dad. The "cooking" ones he is so nice and diplomatic to their faces. It could be the worse thing and Alex will fully pretend to like it. I imagine his youngins bring him weird stuff to try all the time and he has perfected that skill with them. It adds to the character.
This is genuinely my favorite thing on the internet. So happy the full episodes are getting posted.
The conversation with Paul and Greg about the gift always makes me laugh till I cry. I’ve seen the episode so many times and it never fails. Just hilarious. One of my top taskmaster scenes.
Bastards sweating, innit?
"yeah i like women i like men it's all good" so true mr. greg taskmaster davies so true
The best solution to the sweat one would've been to take off your clothes then wrap yourself in the plastic wrap that's up all over the room, then work out like a wrestler trying to cut weight. Clothes absorb sweat and moisture but if you're surrounded by the plastic it would just gather on there and you could probably pour out a cup by the end. Not as funny as haggling for camera man scalp sweat though...
Also just straight up swindling the camera man. Sarah promised a pound for each drop and ended up giving him only two pounds :D
