    The dado joint is one of my favorite woodworking joints when dealing with plywood. It creates a lot more glue area compared to a regular butt joint. There are many ways to cut a dado, by far the easiest is using a stacked dado blade on the table saw.

    Enjoyed the video and it is helpful to people learning the basics. But to help with the setting up, just use a gauge and measure the with of the wood and then you will know what to set the blades. It will save time. Thank you for making this type of videos.

      Thank you for the comment. Yes you can measure using calipers or other devices available to assist in setting up, and I do have some but I wanted to demonstrate how to set up without one. Regardless of how you set up I recommend doing test cuts when cutting dados. Thanks again.
